UYS #486 Flowers

So I’ve been watching these reels on FB and Instagram videos on these gorgeous small journal pages, and so ya, I jumped on that. I ordered a bunch of stuff from soto-studios and this is the first page that I’ve created using my starter pack. You get so much in that starter pack right away. It would take awhile to go through it all, and it’s a nice assortment of embellishments to get you started.

So the new challenge this week at Use Your Stuff is flowers so I wanted to incorporate that theme as well as some items from the Festive Friday #0136 International Fairy Day Inspo List.

I really love how this turned out. My sampler comes with it’s own journal and removable journal pages.

So for the Festive Friday I used the fairy of course, flower embellishments, stars, pink and although they are hard to see, I do have some vellum leaves on this as well. (ooopsie, when I was taking the picture, I didn’t realize I cut off the word unimaginable!. LOL).

No doubt I will have more pages to share in the coming days!

Dragonfly Dreams: Add some Sparkle

Hey there all! I can’t believe we are already into May. The time has definitely got away from me. Have you been to the Dragonfly Dreams blog yet today?

Our May challenge is up, which is a fun one! Add Sparkle…there are so many things that you can use to sparkle and shine up your projects.

We are being sponsored this month by Digi Doodle Studios!

Yay DDS! The winner of the Challenge will receive 3 Digi Stamps only (digi stamp sets, paper, or sentiments not included) of their choosing. Thanks so much for being a great sponsor this month! If you head on over to the blog you can read all about this month’s challenge and our wonderful sponsor. You can also see the amazing projects the DT has created with some of the Digi Doodle images.

I was lucky enough to get this cutie called Pepper Belle Flora and she can be found here in the store!

For me, I went with some glitter paper that I don’t use near enough and of course some glitter Nuevo drops! You can’t see it, but for an extra layer, I also did the wings in some Wink of Stella. I colored her with my copics and my DP is from Lawn Fawn (yes, I’m still trying to work through this rainbow pack and it’s almost done! LOL). The sentiment is from the little jar on my desk of pre stamped/embossed sentiments so I’m not sure where this one is from.

I hope you like the card and I do hope that you will play along with us!

Make You Appear

I’m playing along with the My Favorite Things color challenge right now.

Here is the card that I created

20200603_114608

I’m using the Pure Innocence Fairy Girl stamp set.  I used some Lawn Fawn plaid paper for the background.  I also did a mixed media panel with some distress oxide inks using the colors and then cut it out with the My Favorite Things cross stich die.  A few enamel dots and we are done.

Don’t forget to play along with the color challenge, which can be found here.

Color Crazy#41

I’m not sure how my dates are getting mixed up folks, but I’m late with this posting! My apologies!

Our new anything goes challenge is ready to go at Colour Crazy and our sponsor this week is the awesome Ching-Chou Kuik.

Ching-Chou Kuik's Digital Stamps Etsy Store

I’m highlighting a really cute digi called Toadstool HeadToadstool Head and this is a really versatile one.  It could be used for any occasion, as you will be able to tell when you head over to the blog and see the DT creations for you!

Myself, I chose to do an autumn card.  I colored her in autumn hues with my copics and then added a bit of wink of stella to her head wings and legs.  The DP is just from my stash and then I cut out a few leaves with a punch and tucked them in behind with a tag and some fun burlap for a bit of texture.

Head over to the blog, to check out the rest of the great DT inspiration and to play along with us!

A pretty fairy

Happy Friday everyone!  For us here in Canada, this is what we refer to as “May Long”…as in May long weekend or Victoria Day and unofficially the beginning of camping season!  I unfortunately am not camping this weekend, although my husband is heading to our farm in Saskatchewan to open it up for the year!

We have a fun new challenge for you at Brown Sugar Challenge blog..this week’s theme is WASHI!  Break it out and use it up everyone!

Our sponsor this week is All Dressed Up.  They have such lovely images!

My image is called Flower Fairy…I think she is just adorable.

So again, just using some DP from my stash bin.  My washi is from Simple Stories and it is the 2 strips of yellow dots on this card!  My sequins are from Neat and Tangled  (sweetheart sequin mix) and the sentiment is from Stampin Up (butterfly basics).  I colored the image with my copics.  I hope you like it and don’t forget to stop by the blog to play along and see what the rest of the DT has created to inspire you this week!

Naughty or Nice

Happy Weekend Crafters!  I am excited because I am off to the Scrapshotz crop tomorrow.  After the stressful week I’ve been having I am looking forward to some ME time!

Here’s our new challenge at Creative Corner Challenges this week.  It’s FEMME FATALE!  All about the girls/women!  So link up with your female projects for a chance to win some digis from our great new sponsor IKEsArt!

Here is my card this week.

Again, I apologize for the less than crisp image.  I’m trying to find a new cord for my camera that I usually use for uploading and not having much luck.

The DP is from MME 12 Days of Christmas.  I’m trying to use up my 6×6 packs in their entirety before I start a new one…ummm ya…slow process 🙂    The image is colored with my copics and I added just a bit of stickles to her hair as she is a Christmas Pixie 🙂  The flower just came out of my embellishment box.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will play along with us.

Happy Friday the 13th everyone.  It’s a new challenge day over at Poodles Parlour today.  It’s all about circles!  Our sponsor this week is Whoopsi Daisy Digis.

I am really loving this week’s card for you.  Using one of our sponsor digis and a sketch from my  SCT Cardmaps book I created this card..

The DP is from Basic Grey and is just a few pieces I had left over from another project.  The grey ruched ribbon and cardstock are from my stash, as is the bling.  The orange ribbon is from CTMH.  I colored using my copics and then cut out the image with my Spellbinders for my circles.  I hope you enjoy this card and be sure to stop by the blog and check out the rest of the DT creations this week and don’t forget to enter!

A Fairy Hello

Hello! I hope that you moms out there had a lovely Mother’s Day yesterday.  There is nothing I am more proud of than being a mom to my little Riley.  I can’t believe he’ll be 2 in July!  Time does fly.

Today is a new challenge on the Lollipop Crafts blog.  We are being sponsored by Soft Pencil this week

and here is the link to their site and you can check out all the great digital images & all that Elizabeth has to offer.  Our challenge this week is a fancy folds one…so we’d like to see creations with more than one fold on them.  Here is mine for this week.

The image is from SoftPencil’s Tinytwinies which the DT got to play with.  So cute. This is the Charming Flowers image. How adorable is this!  I colored her using my Copics. I used some Sarah Hurley digital papers for this card. She has some great stuff so make sure you check the link! The main butterfly was cut using a scrap piece from the card and then the other accent butterflies I cut out using some scrap cardstock and then I doused them with versamark and applied some clear embossing powder to them to give them some shine and some texture.  I also added a little bit of bling to them.  The ribbon was part of a swap on Swap-bot that I received.  The sentiment is using my tiny type letters.  I haven’t used these for so long I practically had to blow the dust off. I also added some stickles to her wings and the fairy dust that she sprinkled.

I hope you like the card and I hope you’ll join in on our challenge this week. Sorry my picture is so dark, it’s been rainy here the last few days (which I guess is better than snowy right??)
