Happy Wednesday everyone! Have a look on the Make the Cards Challenge blog…did you see our newest theme?
I know my friends south of us will be celebrating their Thanksgiving this month so it’s only fitting that our theme be thankful!
I’ve been playing with this Carta Bella autumn sticker book. I just love it, so I thought I would use some of the stickers along with some paper from Simple Stories’ Autumn Splendor!
I hope you like it, and don’t forget to play along with us on the blog!
We’re back with a new sketch on the TMS blog today! Check out the new one…..
Here’s mine!
I found this embossed panel first and I’ve had it for so long in my stash that I wanted to use it. I then went with some border stickers from Crate Paper’s Farm House collection. The sentiment is from a fun autumn sticker book by Carta Bella and the little owl is from Carta Bella as well. A simple but fun card.
Head on over to our blog and see the really great bird cards our team has for you this week and feel free to play along with us. What birds do you have to share???
Sorry it’s been awhile everyone. I’ve been so busy getting situated in my new job and then I took another part time job so not a whole lot of free time at the moment. I hope to settle into a routine soon and then squeeze in my crafting time on a regular basis!
Ok, so. New challenge at Use Your Stuff….theme is die cuts! I’d be hard pressed to find someone that doesn’t have one or two die cuts of something in your stash…could be an image, a shape, a word sentiment ….
Now I was at a crop last month and I did a make and take with these gorgeous 3D die cuts! I’m using a autumn one but I did end up buying some Christmas ones to use on future projects. They are from Hearty Crafts and I just love them!
So the background is just some watercoloring with inks and then the sentiment is from my stash as well as the Nuevo Drops. That 3D die cut is fabulous isn’t it!
Now the DT has some great projects on the blog for you to check out and we want you to play along with us too! Show us what die cuts you have hanging around your desk right now and make something from it!
I’m gonna be honest, it’s been awhile since I’ve used Washi for anything so I was pretty happy for this challenge.
I finally cracked open this strawberry stamp set that I got from Lawn Fawn along with the Lawn Fawn Basket die. I also added some of their dot paper to go with my dotted washi border. I just did some basic coloring with my copics and I added some leaves from another die set I had.
This is a super easy challenge and I’m sure you have some washi that is in a drawer in your stash….bust it open, go for one that you’ve not used yet – plan your card around it….it’s a fun challenge to give yourself!
I’ll be stopping by your blog to see what fun you have come up with!
We’ve got an easy sketch but a twist this go round is to add an animal to it!
I found a Simple Stories fall collection in one of my boxes and I thought that this little hedgehog was adorable. So I used some of the stickers from the sheet to go with it for that little blue border and the sentiment. I also added just a few enamel dots for a little bit of color.
Make sure you head to the blog to play along with us this week. Can’t wait to see what critters you have for us to see!
Hey Gang! Mosey on over to the Tuesday Morning Sketches blog where you will find this week’s awesome sketch and a spot to enter your creation!
This sketch shows circles but really, you could use any shape that you wanted to for that element!
Blew the dust off of my flowers and brads for this one! I also can’t remember the last time I used some ribbon on a project either! I am almost done working through the Harvest Delight Collection from Creative Memories that was in my October 2019 SCT sampler. I used a punch for the leaves and the flowers and brads were just from my stash. A quick and easy card from a perfect sketch! Come play along with us!
Hey everyone! Thanks for your patience! It’s been a busy 10 days! We had to get a new hard drive for the computer and so I lost a lot of programs, pictures and apps that I use for my crafting. 😦
It’s also been the last week or so of school for my son, not to mention planning his 13th birthday on the 4th of July and then work being busy. So ya, not a lot of crafting time really over the last little bit.
I hope to get some stuff done in the next few days as I’m going away from the 30th to the 3rd for my son’s birthday.
Full disclosure, I found this one a bit tricky with that triangle and it took me a couple of tries, but I figured it out!
Here’s what I have for you!
Using my October 2019 SCT sampler, I picked out some papers and embellishments I got of the Creative Memories Harvest Delight collection. I really loved the colors in this collection and those pretty flowers.
My sampler had some sentiment cards in it, so it was perfect for this big focal point of the card.
The design team has some amazing projects for you (again!) to check out using this sketch. Drop by the blog and leave them some love. We hope you will play along with us too!
We are a week early with the Use Your Stuff challenge as we are collaborating with Double Trouble Challenges as well! Our theme at Use Your Stuff is Fall/Autumn and it falls right in line with their challenges, so if you are entering ours, be sure to enter theirs too!
This is a card that I created as part of my Crop & Create Cardmaking weekend hosted by Scrapbook & Cards Today Magazine. The leaves and pumpkin are dies from Simon Says Stamp and I created them using some tear tape from ThermoWeb and some glitter. I covered the cardstock with the tear tap and then spread the glitter on it and then die cut! I can’t even remember the last time I used glitter. I used a leafy embossing folder from I believe Cuttlebug and then just some enamel dots from my stash. The THANKS sentiment die is a tried and true one from I believe Scrapbook.com and you have seen me use it many times before.
We hope to see you play along with both Use Your Stuff and Double Trouble for this challenge!
And here we are with another Tuesday upon us….this month and **gasp** dare I say it..summer, shall soon be passing…Just as our weather here in Calgary is getting good too…warm sunny days…you just want to bask in the sunshine….
However, as things do turn to fall soon, so does my project for the Tuesday Morning Sketchfor this week brought to us by Andrea!
Here you go!
I used the Stampin Up Basket Full of Wishes stamp set to go with some papers from my miscellaneous box. I used a postal die from Sizzix and the sentiment I pulled out of my little cup.
Be sure to stop by the blogso you can play along with us and see what the rest of the DT has created for you!
