I have been making a lot of thank you cards over the last few days.  LOL

We have a new challenge at Use it Tuesday this week.   It’s all about being thankful.  Create a project that demonstrates being thankful.  Don’t forget to use parts of your stash and let us know what you use.

Here’s what I have for you today.

My DP is from Basic Grey (Eva).  The flowers & bird are from a swap I had years ago.  They were wood and I then inked them and misted them with some Smooch.  The sentiment is a rub on from Kaiser craft (stash) and the ribbon and pearls are from my stash as well.

Make sure you stop by the blog and check out the other great projects the team has for you.

Entered into these challenges:

Paper Pretties: Thank you

The Paper Girls: thank you

Challenges 4 Everybody: thanksgiving/thankful/thank you

Sentimental Sundays: Thankful/Thanks (must use a sentiment)

Sending Many Thanks

Hello everyone!

First off I just wanted to let you know I had a really successful craft fair over the weekend.  I made about $200 for the day which surpassed last year so I am thrilled.  I am excited to see what happens at the upcoming fair and am working on a few things to add to my table.

On to this week’s challenge at Lollipop Crafts.  In honor of the US Thanksgiving taking place this month, the challenge will actually run for 3 weeks.  There is no sponsor and so it is just for fun but everyone who enters has a chance to win the top 3 blog badge! Our theme is gratitude or we give thanks.  Anything that shows gratitude in some form.

Here is my card this week.  The paper is from SEI which I have had for a couple of years now.  I created a card set for my craft fair and had some left over paper which I used for this card.  The brads and ribbon are from my stash.  I found this great chipboard resist rose which I think was from Heidi Swapp (goodness knows how long I’ve had it) and all I did was ink it to match the paper.  The stamp is from Stampin’ Up’s petite pairs set and the brads from my stash.

I hope you like it and make sure you stop by the blog and enter this month’s challenge.

Here is my card this week.  I think this little guy is just adorable!

My papers this week are BG–offbeat! The sentiment with corresponding die is from Stampin up and I colored my little owl with my copics and then inked the image with some Spiced Marmalade ink from Ranger.  The ribbon and the bling are from my stash.  I hope you enjoy him and I hope you will join our challenge this week.

Happy Crafting everyone!

Happy Birthday

I have a cute little card for this week’s challenge at Lollipop Crafts.  Our challenge this week is to use something old and something new and then it is pretty much anything goes!

The older item I used is the DP.  I’ve had it a few years.  I can’t even remember who makes it.  I think the name is Grandma’s Attic or something like that.  The new item is the stamped image which I received in a swap recently.  I used a border punch and a couple of stampin up punches on this as well.  The ribbon is from my stash.  I hope you enjoy it and don’t forget to enter our challenge on the blog today.  The other DT on my team have some cute inspiration for you as well.

Entered into these challenges:

the squirrel and the fox: celebrate the occasion

charisma cardz: for the guys

Oldie but Goodie: use ribbon

Leaves are Falling

Hey everyone! It’s another great challenge over at Lollipop Crafts today.  We are making a bit of a change on the blog…we are now going to bi-weekly challenges, so you will have a little more time to link up your projects.

Our challenge for you this week is Fall Frolic!  We want to see your Fall cards/projects Before we know it Fall is going to be here! The leaves are turning colors, the air gets a bit cooler and the kids are going back to school……

Here is a card that I have for you today.  I received a fall card kit as part of a swap in and this was the kit that came to me.  It’s a cute little card. Simple and easy to mail.

Since it was a swap, I am not sure what all the parts are…but I hope you enjoy it.  Don’t forget to stop by the blog and see the rest of the DT  proojects for you…

Lollipop Crafts 2 Year Blogaversary Hop!!

Lollipop Crafts is celebrating 2 years of challenge blogging!!!  Wow, doesn’t feel like it’s been 2 years, but it really has been according to the calendar!  Time surely flies by when you’re having fun!!  We have a special treat for you in honor of our marking.  A BLOG HOP!!!   yep, filled with lots of surprises!  The blog hop runs from today August 1st until August 4th.  So if you don’t have time to check out everyone today, you can come back tomorrow and finish the hop.

If you hopped onto my blog by chance, PLEASE head back to Lollipop Crafts blog and begin your celebrating there.  There’s so much going on you don’t want to miss out on fun and surprises.   You should have reached my blog from Juelmarie’s  blog.

In addition to our celebration and blog hopping fun, we have a SPECIAL challenge just for this celebration too.  Hurry though, this challenge ends on the 4th at Midnight PST as well.  The challenge is CELEBRATION!!  Any celebration that is, birthday, anniversary, new baby, wedding and more!  Link up your celebration creations to InLinkz on the LC blog.

Just so you know, there are hidden prizes around the DT blogs, so don’t miss out on visiting everyone and there are 2 prizes on the LC blog – one for a random hopper who leaves a comment on the LC blog and one for participating in the challenge.

As well, just for this hop we have a fabulous guest designer joining us!  It’s Barbara from Forgotten Scraps!  You are going to meet her at the end of the hop!

So I’ve got a great couple of cards for you for this Celebration!  I am not going to tell you who my sponsor is for it!  I am hoping that you can guess by looking at the image!

Leave me a comment telling me who you think my sponsor is, and after the blog hop I will announce and from all the correct guesses, will randomly pick a name to receive a small batch of goodies from me! 🙂   I am going to be away until the 13th tending to some important family matters but I will try to post my winner before then and the prize will be mailed out when I get back.

This card represented just a personal celebration! I love shopping and anytime I can have the chance to do so, works for me.  If I have to pick an obscure celebration like National Happiness Happens month (people actually celebrate this) I am all for it. Any excuse to hit the mall!

I created this one with some Basic Grey papers I had used for another project.  The image is colored with copics and my sew easy ink stitcher added a bit of faux stitching.  The sentiment is just printed out from my computer.  Ribbon and bling are from my stash.

and card #2

This one is just a fun birthday card.  Who doesn’t love to shop for new stuff with all the gift cards and cash for their birthday! I was working on another project and came across this kit that I had of birthday papers from Hot off the Press.  I had totally forgotten about them.  I am loving the colors so I have started to use them over again.  Again the image is colored with my copics and I have added some big brads, bling and twine from my stash.  The kit came with some word art so I thought it would be fun to add that as well.

Thanks for stopping by! and now it is time for you to hop along.  Your next stop is Mimi who has another great sponsor for you to check out!
When you’re done with the hop, make sure to stop by the LC blog again and say so.  Have Fun!!!

Christmas in July–Lollipop Challenge #84

Hi Everyone! Sorry for the late posting on this but I was gone away for the long weekend and am just now getting things in order.  Our challenge for this month (as the DT is spending some time with their families this summer) is Christmas in July.  Create any Christmas card to enter the challenge.  This month our sponsor is Robyn’s Fetish

Check the blog tomorrow to find out more about them and about the great prize they are offering up to the winner.

Here is the card that I created for you:

I blew the dust off my embossing folders for this one and then just a simple sentiment and some ribbon and bling.  I didn’t want it too fancy because this is one of the ones I massed produced for my upcoming craft fairs this winter.  I hope you like it.

Spring Fling Challenge

Happy Monday all! Welcome to a new challenge for Lollipop Crafts this week.  We’re being sponsored by Kitty Bee Designs which I will tell you more about on Wednesday when the blog has their sponsor spotlight.  In the meantime, our challenge this week is to create a spring themed card.  This is a pretty easy challenge and everyone should enter to win!

Here’s my card for this week…

Everything is from my stash.  Gotta use that stuff up!  The butterflies were cut using the Stamping Cartridge.  The image is a Stampin’ Up one and was sent to me in a swap ages ago.  Finally got a chance to use it.  For a change, I just colored it with some colored pencils instead of the usual copics.  I added a bit of stickle around the one butterfly for a little glitz.  I hope you enjoy it and don’t forget to stop by the blog to see the rest of the DT inspiration and to enter this week’s challenge.

going dotty

Hello.  I am so late in posting this! It’s been that kind of day.

We have a new challenge on the Poodles Parlour site this week.  Our challenge is to use polka dots somewhere on your project.  This week we are being sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps!

Yay!  Please stop by the blog for all the details and to see all the great DT inspiration this week for you.

I created this fun little Easter card for you this week.

The paper was in my stash bucket so I am not entirely sure where it came from.  I embossed some cardstock using my polka dots embossing folder.  The image was colored with my Copics and then added some flowers from my many embellishments as well as some bling and just a bit of jute.  The image was cut out using one of my Spellbinders that I finally managed to crack open.  I hope you enjoy it this week.

I have entered into the following challenges:

Alphabet Challenge Blog: D is for dry embossing

Card Crafters Circle: Easter

Card Makin Mamas: Easter

Simply Create Too: Eggs and/or bunnies

Stampin for the Weekend: Anything Goes

Charizma Cards: Easter

Cute Card Thursday: Happy Easter

Sarah Hurley Challenges: Easter

The paper Shelter: Easter

Clear it Out: Easter

LC Blog Hop-Happy Birthday Kris!

It’s Krista Palakiko’s birthday today and a few of us are throwing her a surprise birthday blog hop.  If you’ve come here from Kim’s blog then you are on the right path, but if you just popped in you might want to hop on over to the beginning at the Lollipop Crafts blog.  Why?  Well one lucky hopper will win a SURPRISE PRIZE!  All you need to do is hop along to each friend’s blog, leave some love, then head back to theLollipop Crafts blogand let them know you completed the hop.  Who knows maybe along the way some of Kris’ friends might be giving away RAKS of their own, so make sure you stop and give some love to everyone.  The winner will be announced on Sunday, March 18th.
Happy Birthday Kris!  I had a lot of fun making this birthday card.
I just picked a couple of pieces of DP that I had in a bucket on my desk and wanted to see what I could create with them.  Luckily they kinda went together!  The image is a House Mouse one that I got in a swap and I thought it was just adorable.  I colored with my copics.  I added a bit of paper piercing for some dimension and a nice big bow (which took me forever to make with my bow easy (how ironic) because I wasn’t looping it correctly! thank goodness for youtube!)
To celebrate Kris’s bday I have a little RAK to give away.
I have the Nikki Sivils Henry’s Brilliance 6×6 paper
pack to give away as well as a few other goodies (international entries welcome)
Just leave a comment on my blog telling me your favorite birthday present and I will enter you into the draw.  Become a follower and I’ll give you an extra entry!
Now you are off to Alanna’s blog for some more birthday fun!

**If you get lost along the way the MASTER LIST is on the Lollipop Crafts Blog.
