Hello Friends!

Check out this week’s sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches!

Its a really great sketch to play with!

I used some paper from a hot buy paper pack from Michaels. I’ve never used it so it’s fun to crack it open! The sentiment was from Lawn Fawn. I added a few sequins and the cut aparts from the paper pack.

Head on over to the TMS blog and see the other great projects. Be sure to play along with us as well!

Good Morning everyone! Welcome to this week’s challenge at Tuesday Morning Sketches….ready? Here we go!

I had some fun with this one!

I was playing with the left over bits from a sampler that had been sitting on my desk. I think that this is Carta Bella Floral Market. I love this collection! It’s so pretty. I’m not sure if my big floral is part of the collection but it was in the same bag and so I fussy cut them out to make a focal point for this one. I just added some confetti from Studio Katia and enamel dots and big bold dots to finish it off.

I hope you enjoy the card and be sure to stop by the TMS blog for the great inspiration that the Design Team has come up with for this sketch! Be sure to play along!

Oh boy! These days of summer are fading fast everyone. Soon it is going to be fall and my son will be going back to school. He’s less than thrilled, let me tell you!

Ok, here’s this week’s sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches

This has a fun prompt for the background doesn’t it?

I’m sure a lot of you may feel the urge to do embossing for that background, or maybe a background die of some sort? I went for some stenciling. Using the Joseph’s Coat technique I created this fun background with a Stampin Up leafy stencil. I was trying to use some fall-ish colors for this card.

The sentiment is from Craft Addicts Too and I just got it in last week. The sequins are from my stash as is the ribbon.

Head on over to our blog to play along in this week’s sketch. While you are there, check out the amazing projects from the rest of the DT.

Hi! It is time for our new challenge at Make the Card Challenges! This one is great (they all are right?! )

This week we are going for a simple technique…

Oh this has so many possibilities! For me, I had this embossing folder/die set that I hadn’t used in awhile and so I wanted to focus on that and made a shaker card. The sentiment is from Ink Road Stamps and is a quote from one of my favorite movies of all time – Pride and Prejudice!

I love the red/white/black combo so I added some pink/white/red sequins in my shaker and some glitter red hearts to give it a bit of pop.

I hope you like it and don’t forget to play along with us at MTCC . The DT has some awesome projects for you to check out and inspire you and you’ll find the link to play along!

CCC: May

Hello All! We are enjoying some awesome sunshine here in Calgary after bits and bobs of snow scattered over the last couple of weeks so it’s hard to think about Christmas cards, but our new challenge is up at Christmas Craft Creations! Our theme is to use 2 colors…neutrals are ok, but there should be primarily 2 colors as your focus!

I didn’t want to go digging for all of my Christmas stuff for this card so I challenged myself to find some that was within arms reach of my desk and drawers. Luckily I had a bunch of Christmas product in a drawer and so I created this cute layered card.

I’m not sure where the paper is from but the sentiment is from Echo Park. I added some sequins from Studio Katia as well as some Nuevo Drops. I used a fun layer die for a bit of added interest.

Come on over to the blog to see the DT creations for this challenge to inspire you and then link up your creations!

See you there!

Crop & Create Delivered Online

This weekend I am doing the Scrapbook & Cards Today Magazine’s Crop & Create Delivered Card Class. It’s 3 days of classes led by some amazing talent in the industry, learning new techniques, play with new products and just having fun.

The first card we did today, is from Becky Moore using an exclusive stamp/die set from Photoplay Paper’s Say it With Stamps.

For this class we created our own stencil using the die cut as a template and then using some inks (I used Stamp Market Peachy and Mossy and Gathered Twigs distress ink). The sequins are from Neat & Tangled Festive Fall mi.

C’mon back tomorrow for a bunch more examples of our cards for this weekend!

Here’s our inspiration piece for you!

For my card I really liked that green/black/orange color combo so I started with that. I was also drawn to the skeleton.

Using just some scraps I decided to create this little card! I think it turned out really well. Be sure to head to our blog and check out how the rest of the DT interpreted the inspiration piece and to play along with us. Our challenge is always anything goes, you just have to be inspired by the image. Have fun!

Hello you! Here I am with this week’s new sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches!

This is what I created! I bet you thought it was going to be another rainbow card didn’t you!

I started with that 3×4 journalling card as the inspiration for my card. I added two more card cut down to balance it out and then the coffee are from Stampin Up. I added a few sequins and some background paper from Photoplay Paper. I really love the colors on this!

C’mon over to the Tuesday Morning Sketches blog and play along with us! Check out what the rest of the DT has put together for you as well.

Hey there! Thanks for stopping by! Here in Canada, we celebrated Thanksgiving yesterday , so for my fellow Canucks, I hope yours was great! I spent time with my family over the weekend which was nice.

Our new challenge is up at Tuesday Morning Sketches. It’s a fun one that can start off simple or be as ornate as you want!

Here’s mine for you!

I used some scrap pieces of fall paper that I had from doodle bug and I think Echo Park and I just added a die cut/stamped sentiment from Scrapbook.com. Also threw just a few sequins in to finish it off. I think I’ll send this one to my partner for the Splitcoaststampers Bakers dozen.

Come on over to the blog to see what the rest of the DT has created for you and please play along with us! We can’t wait to see how you see the sketch!

Here we go folks! The first sketch of October over at Tuesday Morning Sketches!

It’s a pretty one!

I have another fun fall card with this one.

The DP is from my stash. The die cuts I used are the swirly scribbles from Stampin Up. I added some sequins from my stash and a sentiment from Scrapbook.com. Our cute little owl there is from Michaels. I have a big pack of them so he may show up on another project!

Head on over to the blog to see what the rest of the team has created and to play along, we can’t wait to see what you create.
