Morning all….I’m getting pretty excited! Only 4 more days until we head to Disneyland! It’s going to be such an awesome surprise for our little guy.
In the meantime, I’ve been trying to keep busy with cards and I’m starting to work with the fall color palette. I love the fall colors and you can expect a lot of DT projects with a variety of papers and embellishments with a fall theme to them!
This week, head on over to Penny’s for our anything goes challenge sponsored by Lemon Shortbread!
Prize – 3 Digi images from the store
Here’s my card. I know strawberries are usually associated with summer, but I thought the red and green would fit in great with my fall palette.
I colored the image with my copics and then (although it is hard to see) I added a wink of stella to the berries and some glossy accents to the leaves. The DP are just bits and bobs from my stash and the sentiment is from Paper Smooches!
I hope you like it!
Hello everyone! So today marks my first project for the Kitty Bee Design Team. I’m pretty darn excited!
Our challenge this go round is Fairytale/Fantasy. We have 2 great great sponsors for this challenge. I am using an image from All Dressed Up
I was inspired by the fairy tale Peter Pan…who didn’t want to be a lost boy at one point… just playing all the time…no rules, no responsibilities, and you were only hindered by your imagination. These days with the age of electronics, I think sometimes kids forget how to really just use their imagination and play! ….
The DP is from Stampin Up and the sentiment is from Tim Holtz. I colored the image with copics. I added a bit of cord from my stash and the circles are dies from Spellbinders. I hope you like it and don’t forget to play along with us at Kitty Bee this week….we want to see what you can use your imagination to create!
Hi all! Back for another Wednesday challenge at Penny’s for this week. As always our theme is anything goes. We have 2 really great sponsors this week – All Dressed Up –
Prize – 2 Digi images from their store
and Delicious Doodles
Prize – 4 Individual images of winners choice
I am using an image from Delicious Doodles for my card this week.
The image is just colored simply with my copics. The DP is from Stampin up and the sentiment is from my new favorite pack by Paper Smooches! I added just a few sequins to finish it off. I hope you enjoy the card and don’t forget to play along with us!
Morning! I am late posting this! I didn’t even realize it was Wednesday! My days are just blending together!
We have a great challenge at Penny’s this week…our theme is Quick and Easy….the best kind of cards right!
Our sponsor this week is Fred She Said
Prize – $15 gift certificate
I am using this pre-colored Holyhocks image. It’s available from the store in a b&w image as well as a variety of pre-colored images.
I thought it would make a really pretty simple sympathy card. The DP is just from my stash and the sentiment is a favorite Ali Edwards one that I have. I also added a little wink of stella on all the flowers for a bit of shine and interest.
I hope you like it and don’t forget to join in the challenge this week!
Wow, here we are and it’s almost the end of August! Raise your hand if you think this summer is flying by! Soon it will be time for fun fall projects! 🙂
In the meantime, head on over to the Brown Sugar Challenges blog and check out this week’s challenge! We are being sponsored by Melonheadz!
I was pretty excited because I’ve never worked with Melonheadz images before and they are just so cool!
Our theme this week is to try something new! It could be a new stamp, scrappy item, technique….
For me, I decided to use a new die from Taylored Expressions that I’ve had for a bit but never used! I also received this new DP from a swap that I did recently.
I think it is a fun little card and I hope you like it.
Also, we are having a Design Team Call! You can check out all the deets here!
Our sponsor this week for Penny’s is Paper Creator (the winner this week gets a £10 credit to the store) and I just knew I wanted to use this fun image!
I don’t have a lot of fall/autumn images and Noah is just too darn cute. I also knew that I had some fun autumn DP in my stash that I received in a swap that I really wanted to use with it! Now this image is pre-colored because we all know my coloring skills leave a lot to be desired.
The sentiment is from a bunch of new goodies I received from Vicki Boutin. They are from her fun line with American Crafts. I punched out some maple leaves with my punch out of some of the DP and cardstock. I also had a little yellow leaf that I got in a swap ages ago.
I hope you like the card and be sure to stop by the blog and see what the rest of the DT has created for you.
Welcome everyone! It’s Wednesday so hop on over to Penny’s blog today and check out our new Anything Goes challenge week. Our fun sponsors this week are
Prize – 2 single image from their store
Prize -3 digis of winners choice
My card today is using a Crafty Sentiments image…I thought she was just adorable.
I colored her with my copics and just used some Stampin Up DP that was sent to me in a swap. The butterflies were also from a swap.
The sentiment is from Tim Holtz (I believe)
Thanks for stopping by and see you over on the blog with your own creations for this week!
