Happy Wednesday all! That means we have a new challenge up at Penny’s this week! As always our challenges are anything goes..this week’s sponsor is Bugaboo Stamps!
The winner is going to get 4 free images of their choice.
The DT got to play with some fun Christmas digis this week…here’s my card for you!
I just used some Christmas DP from my stash. I used a sketch from Mojo Monday (#479). I just added a few star sequins and star bling. I hope you enjoy it and please stop by the blog to play along with us!
Hello peeps! Here it is Friday and I am actually on my way to Edmonton as you read this. I’m heading up to see one of my all time favorite bands – Matchbox 20 perform live! I am super excited as this is a bucket list concert for me! I broke my toe last week but I am not letting that stop me! That’s why they made pain meds and air casts!
That being said, it is still a fun day here too as it is a new challenge over at Brown Sugar. This week’s sponsor is Sheep Ski Designs, and the winner is going to get 3 digis of the winner’s choice from the store!
This week we have a color inspired challenge for you! So use these colors to inspire your project this week!
Here’s my card using the Summer digi from the store!
I mostly used some papers from the Stampin Up Moonlight DP. The image is colored with copics and the enamel dots are just from the dollar store. I used sketch # 311 from Sketch Saturday for this one.
I hope you have a great weekend, and don’t forget to stop by the blog to see the other DT projects and to link up yours!
It’s Wednesday my peeps! It’s been a bit of an issue here, as I recently broke my toe and have not had much time to get scrappy between rest and pain meds!
I did want to share with you a fun card for this week’s challenge at Penny’s. Our sponsors this week are
Little Blue Button ($10 gift certificate for their online store)
Paper Shelter Paper Shelter ($10 gift certificate for their online store)
Today I am using some images from Little Blue Button’s Coffee Love collection.
I used one of the sentiments as well as the coffee beans which I cut out individually. I printed out the coffee cups 2x on some kraft cardstock and then again on some Your Next Stamp DP to do the centre pieces. The background DP is from YNS’s Crazy for Coffee collection. I used my white gel pen to color the tops of the coffee cups and to just add some faux stitching around the card.
I hope you like it and please stop by the blog to see the other great projects the DT has created from our wonderful sponsors this week!
Happy Wednesday! It has been gorgeous weather here in Calgary…warm and we are gearing up for Stampede which starts on Friday! Cannot wait. 🙂 YEEEHAW!
Penny’s Paper Crafty has a new challenge up this week! As always it’s anything goes and this week’s sponsor is
DIGISTAMPS 4 JOY!
The winner gets $10 to spend at the store!
Here is my card today using some images from the garden collection. There are a lot of different images in this collection and you should stop by the blog and see what the rest of the DT has created as some of the other girls have used some of the other images!
I decided to use the two planters and the gloves for my card.
The background floral paper is from my stash, that I got in a swap. I printed out the planters on some DP and then cut them out but you could just as easily print it out on white an color it. I added just a variety of different flowers from my stash . The gloves I printed out on some textured Sizzix paper that I have had forever…I wanted it to look like old worn leather gardening gloves. The sentiment is from Paper Smooches (Perky Plants). I hope you like it and hope to see you play along!
It is shaping up to be a nice week here! I think that summer really decided to step up and be present! I’m loving the sunshine…
Which is why for my project for this week’s challenge at Penny’s, I wanted to use this cute little travel pig and some fun, bright, summery colors.
Our sponsors this week are BUGABOO STAMPS (4 free images for a lucky winner)
and CRAFTY SENTIMENTS (3 free images for a lucky winner)
For my project, I’m using this cute travel pig from Bugaboo! I am using up the last scraps of the wicked paper I received and Crop & Create and Vicki Boutin’s class. I’m just about down to the end now. I used the Tuesday Morning Sketches sketch for this week. I colored the pig with these AWESOME watercolor markers that I won recently from Creative Scrapbooker magazine and Sakura! Oh they blend like buttah! They are the KOI watercolor brush set! Love them! The sentiment are word stickers from Tim Holtz. I hope you enjoy the card and don’t forget to play along with us at Penny’s! Be sure to stop by the blog and see what the rest of the team has for you this week!
Happy Friday…yay for weekend!
It’s my team’s week to highlight the challenge over at Brown Sugar Challenges. This week’s theme is Anything Goes! The best kind right!
Our sponsor this week is Kenny K Stamps!
The prize is 3 digi images of the winner’s choice!
My card is highlighting the image FARMERS DAUGHTER
I am using this week’s sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches. I used the All Abloom designer paper from Stampin Up as well as the Little Friends stamp set for the sentiment. I used my sizzix for the flourish and the circles. I colored the image with my copics and then popped it up with some pop dots. I hope you like it and don’t forget to head over the the BSC blog to see what the rest of the DT has created for you. You can’t see it in the picture but I used a bit of Wink of Stella in her hair just for a bit of extra shine.
Another Wednesday is upon us! These weeks are just flying by! Penny’s Paper Crafty has a brand new challenge week starting! Quick and easy is our theme and this week’s sponsor is FRED SHE SAID DESIGNS who is giving a lucky winner a $15 gift certificate to their store
as well as DELICIOUS DOODLES who will be donating to a luck winner 4 individual images of their choice!
I am excited to be using a pre-colored image from Fred She Said! Its called Hummingbird and Petunias and is just so pretty!
In keeping with the quick and easy theme, I just used some paper from my stash and worked some layers. My only embellishments were some enamel dots and a word sentiment that was sent to me in a swap. I added some gel pen faux stitching just to brighten up that black a little bit.
I hope you like it and please stop by the blog and see what the rest of the Design Team has created for you!
