Well, it took some time but my wonderful stamp set from Simon Says Stamp arrived. I was graciously given a stamp set as part of their annual Stamptember event! Every day this month, they have a wonderful collaboration with a stamping company to bring you some amazing exclusive sets! There’s prizes, inspiration and shopping codes. I was given the Raindrops 6×8 stamp set.
This is a gorgeous set with lots of beautiful sentiments and a wide variety of raindrops that you can mix and match to make your own backgrounds or to add as embellishments to your projects.
I have 2 cards for you today.
For this card, I stamped three of the larger raindrops and two of the smaller ones randomly on a sheet. I then heat embossed them with white embossing powder. I went over it in a rainbow of colors of ink to simulate a rainbow. I added the sentiment and a little vellum cloud. I also added some cute little iridescent rainbow pearls that are from Studio Katia.
For my second card, I paired one of the sentiments with a Gina K die set that I have in my stash. I created the background using some distress inks & water and then smooching that onto some Brea Reese cardstock. Again I added the raindrop pearls to finish this card.
