Hey everyone! I’m sorry I’ve been MIA lately. It’s been crazy in my house. Lots of home stuff going on, but here I am with the new sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches!
So I’m a bit in the Christmas mood these days so I pulled out my Simple Stories Vintage Rustic Christmas papers and paired it with my Simple Stories Holly Jolly!
I added some green & red twine and a little bit of gold leafy die cuts! I think this turned out really really well. Come play along with us on the blog! The DT has created some awesome projects for you to check out!
This is our new sketch on the Tuesday Morning Sketches blog for you to play along with! It’s such an easy sketch and so easy to go from really simple to quite elaborate depending on your style.
I went somewhere in the middle….
I was making a flip book over the weekend using some simple stories, so I just used some of my left over pieces for this card. I thought it turned out quite cute for a holiday card. I decided to just round a couple of corners for the squares, just for a bit of added interest on it.
Be sure to head over to the blog and see the great stuff that the DT has for you!
Hello all! I’m here with your mid challenge reminder for our Christmas Craft Creations August challenge.
Here’s this month’s theme!
Now winter activities could be anything, skiing, skating, ice fishing, decorating a tree…..but what about Reindeer Games! 🙂
I had this really cute stamp set that I got for an online card class (which surprise, surprise, I’ve not done yet, and it was from last November!), and it’s from Close To My Heart. I thought it would be really fun to do a bit of a different take on the theme. I stamped out the stamp and sentiment using inks from my Tim Holtz Distress inks and some stampin up as well. The DP is from my stash and I die cut a couple of ovals to set off that image a little bit. I added a few iridescent crystals to finish it off.
Head on over to the blog to play along and win this month’s prize. (Just remember you need to include out monthly theme image as well as a link back to the blog to be entered to win).
Hello All! We are enjoying some awesome sunshine here in Calgary after bits and bobs of snow scattered over the last couple of weeks so it’s hard to think about Christmas cards, but our new challenge is up at Christmas Craft Creations! Our theme is to use 2 colors…neutrals are ok, but there should be primarily 2 colors as your focus!
I didn’t want to go digging for all of my Christmas stuff for this card so I challenged myself to find some that was within arms reach of my desk and drawers. Luckily I had a bunch of Christmas product in a drawer and so I created this cute layered card.
I’m not sure where the paper is from but the sentiment is from Echo Park. I added some sequins from Studio Katia as well as some Nuevo Drops. I used a fun layer die for a bit of added interest.
Come on over to the blog to see the DT creations for this challenge to inspire you and then link up your creations!
Hey everyone! Have you stopped by the Christmas Craft Creations blog to play along with this month’s challenge? Our theme is Tartan/Plaid.
For my card I started with some buffalo plaid from Miss Kate Cuttables and paired it with some green polka dot paper also from MKC and some green foil cardstock. The ornament is from a Stampin Up punch that I cut out about 6x to give it some thickness and height and then added a sentiment from my stash. I hope this inspires you a little bit for your own project and that you will play along with us as well!
Some people may think this is daunting, but it’s actually quite easy and is really fun if you want to create a scene in your card. It gives you just a bit more space!
Now continuing on with the Frosties Stamp & Die set from Lawn Fawn, I created my slimline for you
I used my Studio Katia slimline dies to create this, and I ink blended some Lawn Fawn Sugar Plum and Peacock inks. Then I used the stars and snow stencil in the same colors. I stamped and die cut the snow flakes and added a bit of stickles to the centre. I also added some sequins in the purple & teal (I really like this color combo btw). The sentiment is from Craft Addicts Too which was just the right size for this card.
Be sure to stop by the blog and play along with this month’s challenge!
Hey, I’m here with your mid month reminder of our Christmas challenge for February over at Christmas Craft Creations!
Blue and Silver are a great color combo for Christmas!
The paper is from my stash and it’s nice and soft. It’s hard to tell but that bottom strip is a gorgeous silver foil paper. It really sets it off nicely, and I matched it with the peace sentiment from stampin up in the same foil . A few little silver balls and voila!
Come by the blog, see what everyone has created and play along with us!
It’s hard to think of Christmas in January after everything is put away and done, but here we are! Our first challenge with Christmas Craft Creations for 2022!
Here is my card this month with some fun Christmas stenciling from a Kaisercraft stencil called Poinsettia.
I used some Market Street inks and then the sentiment is one from my stash. I also added a few enamel dots and snowflakes from Stampin Up.
Be sure to stop by the blog and play along with us and to see the great projects that the Design Team has created.
Hey ! Can you believe we are in Christmas week??? Holy hannah! Are you getting excited? I know I am.
We have a special challenge for you this go round.
ANNUAL ANYTHING GOES CHALLENGE!
With it being the last 2 weeks of the year, my amazing team uses this time for a much needed break to get themselves ready for the Christmas and New Year holidays, spend time with their families and recharge their creative batteries.
There are rules to this challenge, though…
1. Your project must be new, no back linking.
2. Your project must be PG rated.
3. It is anything goes, but must be crafty related. Feel free to share a crocheted/knitted project, other paper craft, mixed media, art journal, even planner pages you’re particularly proud of.
4. You may enter as many times as you’d like!We do have a prize, as usual. This year I’m giving a $25 gift certificate to Simon Says Stamp!
I’m sharing with you another card that I created during a Photoplay card class that I took recently. Firstly I love this line of paper and embellishments, and secondly I’m just amazed at how easy it is to put together a fun card using only paper, stickers and some dimension adhesive! We all know I love layers and these stickers and some embossing just makes for some great interest .
I hope you will stop by the blog to see what the rest of the DT has created. From my house to yours, Happy Holidays and all the best for the new year!
