Hello all! Fresh back from Disneyland which was amazing! I’m going to be working on my son’s autograph album and a scrap album of the trip so hopefully I will have layouts in the near future to share with you.
For now though, it’s a new challenge day at Penny’s. Our sponsor this week is Cute as a Button . This week’s prize is 2 single images from their store.
Taking a break from my autumn cards I created a fun little Christmas card using just supplies that I received in a recent swap. It was fun to challenge myself to only use what was in the box! For coloring of the image, I just did some basic water coloring and I added a bit of glossy accents to the tree ornaments. I hope you like it and I hope you will play along with us for the challenge, as always the theme is anything goes!
Happy Wednesday all! That means we have a new challenge up at Penny’s this week! As always our challenges are anything goes..this week’s sponsor is Bugaboo Stamps!
The winner is going to get 4 free images of their choice.
The DT got to play with some fun Christmas digis this week…here’s my card for you!
I just used some Christmas DP from my stash. I used a sketch from Mojo Monday (#479). I just added a few star sequins and star bling. I hope you enjoy it and please stop by the blog to play along with us!
So I am part of a swap in Splitcoast Stampers called the Crazy Christmas Swap. We basically send and receive the bare bones to make a Christmas card – the image/sentiment and 2 sheets of DP. The rest is up to us.
Mine came from Kelly. She sent a Cat’s Pajamas sentiment and some Papertrey Ink designer paper. I used this week’s sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches to set up the card. I added in just some card stock, a bit of cord and a few sequins. I colored the image with my Copics and then went over the igloo and the bear with my Wink of Stella.
It’s Use Your Stuff’s 200th challenge and we’re celebrating with a blog hop. Speaking of celebrating, that’s our challenge – CELEBRATE!!!
We are lucky to be sponsored by Kim Evans and her amazing store Emerald Creek Craft Supplies! She is giving one lucky winner a cute little prize pack. You need to make sure that you comment on each of the blogs for the hop because the lucky winner will be chosen from one of them!
I received my Stampin Up Paper Pumpkin for November and I really think it is cute…It’s a Christmas pack and I love that because Christmas is really big in my house and something that we really love to celebrate. Here are the 2 cards that I have created…
I really love the cute little stamp set and I know I will get lots of use from it~! As well as the blog hop, we are also having our usual weekly challenge so we hope that you will play along with our celebrate challenge this week. I look forward to seeing what you love to celebrate!
You should have arrived from Shirley’s blog. Below I have posted the all the stops on the hop for you in case you missed one!
I have another card for you! I know 2 in one day! Whew! Tuesday Morning Sketches is another place I love to draw inspiration from and they have a great sketch for this week.
I am still playing with the mounds of product hanging out on my desk so I created another card using the Jovial line from Basic Grey. I also had an old Tim Holtz stamp that I haven’t used in awhile that went well with the DP I used for this card.
I’ve got a lot of those little doilies on my desk so it was great to pull one out and it went great with this line. I love the teal! I used the new Mermaid Lagoon ink for the stamp as well as the Expresso. Some little brads to finish it off. I am happy to say as well that I finally used up the entire Jovial card kit that I had…success!!! 🙂
I am trying to get Christmas cards done for my craft fairs which are coming up in November. I really liked the sketch that Mojo Monday had this week so I decided to play with that one!
Here is my card!
I have been challenging myself to use the mounds of items all over my craft desk this week! I have a Jovial card kit from Basic Grey as well as a bunch of random stamp sets so I used them for this card. I think those penguins are adorable. The embossed background was another sheet I had lying around so decided to use that as well. I hope you enjoy it and don’t forget to play along with Mojo Monday to get the creative juices flowing!
Sorry this is late everyone. I’ve been pretty sick the last few days which prompted a trip to the ER over the weekend and I’ve not been able to get quite back into the thick of things. Long story short, I’m having some severe headaches and I had some numbness all down my left side so I’m scheduled for an MRI tomorrow. Will keep you posted if anything serious.
So, a sketch challenge is up at Use Your Stuff this week. And it’s a great one that could be used for both cards and layouts! I chose to use it for my card this week.
Now I had a left over card kit, so I am not exactly sure who it is by. I just loved that it all went together to put this card in motion. The sentiment is a rub on from Memory Makers and the flowers are Prima. I inked the chipboard snowflakes to match the colors in my card. I hope you enjoy it and don’t forget to head over to the blog to play along with us.
