Hey there! So it’s been a very long time since I’ve joined in on a challenge for Use Your Stuff but I hope to be doing more of them!
This week’s challenge is Summer fun….anything really to do with summer! I’m sure many of us are enjoying the sunny days right now.
I created a fun card for a summer birthday!
I got this fun new die from Crafty Addicts and I really wanted to use it! I cut it out just in black cardstock and then placed some of the squares back in. I then added some fun Doodlebug stickers. The plaid paper is my go to from Lawn Fawn! The sentiment is from one of my SCT stamp sets. I really like this die and I think I will be using it a lot.
Come on over to the UYS blog, see what the DT has created and please play along with us!
Hello Friends! Here we are in mid-July and I am getting ready to head to my farm for 10 days! Super excited to relax and do nothing but scrap or read! Maybe even catch up on some of my scrappy YouTube videos on my Save to Watch Later list!
Now I’ve still been playing with some bits and bobs of Doodlebug Designs that I have because it just makes me feel all summery and happy!
Now I really love pairing my Doodlebug with my Lawn Fawn! I think that both companies blend so well together as you can see here! I used some Doodlebug stickers as well as some Lawn Fawn & Doodlebug papers. The enamel hearts are from my stash but I wouldn’t be surprised if they were from one of these 2 companies.
I also used a sentiment stamp that is a favorite of mine and I received in a SCT sampler. I’ve used those stamps sooo many times.
I hope you enjoyed my card and the DT has really outdone themselves this time so be sure to stop by to see what they have to show you!
I had some of these cute little Lawn Fawn squirrels left over from another project so I definitely wanted to use them on this one. The paper is from Echo Park as are the enamel dots and the sentiment is just from my stash. I hope you like it!
Swing by the blog to see the rest of the projects, leave some love and play along with us! See you there!
Yay DDS! The winner of the Challenge will receive 3 Digi Stamps only (digi stamp sets, paper, or sentiments not included) of their choosing. Thanks so much for being a great sponsor this month! If you head on over to the blog you can read all about this month’s challenge and our wonderful sponsor. You can also see the amazing projects the DT has created with some of the Digi Doodle images.
I was lucky enough to get this cutie called Pepper Belle Flora and she can be found here in the store!
For me, I went with some glitter paper that I don’t use near enough and of course some glitter Nuevo drops! You can’t see it, but for an extra layer, I also did the wings in some Wink of Stella. I colored her with my copics and my DP is from Lawn Fawn (yes, I’m still trying to work through this rainbow pack and it’s almost done! LOL). The sentiment is from the little jar on my desk of pre stamped/embossed sentiments so I’m not sure where this one is from.
I hope you like the card and I do hope that you will play along with us!
I still had a couple of rainbows on my desk that I wanted to use up, so I added them to this card!
I used some Lawn Fawn Rainbow plaid paper to go with and the sentiment I do believe is Stampin Up. I added the hearts and clouds that came with the rainbow set. Another bright and cheery card to send to a friend.
Be sure to head over to the blog and see what the rest of the DT has created for you this week with this awesome sketch and be sure to play along!
Here we are again…another Tuesday and another sketch up at Tuesday Morning Sketches. I love this square card sketch that Melissa has for us this week!
I decided to pull out that cute rainbow stamp/die set that we received from SCT for the Online Card Class and paired it with some paper from the May 2019 Sampler from SCT. It’s from Lawn Fawn. I also added in some Nuevo Drops and the sentiment I stamped in my new YNS Blueberry Breeze Ink!
I hope you will come on over to the blog and see the amazing creations the DT has for you this week!
Are you ready? The sketch is up at Tuesday Morning Sketches and it’s gonna be a fun one! Check out this mini slimline sketch!
It’s got a lot of possibilities! We also have a prize this week gracously donated by Andrea who created this week’s sketch! Andrea will donate a prize: 6 assorted colored mini slimline envelopes from Taylored Expressions. How fun is that!
Here’s my card!
Now as you can see, my card is not 100% the same as the sketch but a lot of the elements are there! I decided to pull out an old Lawn Fawn stamp set called Elphie Selfie that I’ve not used in awhile. I stamped and colored with my copics and then stacked them one on top of the other. I also used my Lawn Fawn cloudy stencil for the background for the first time paired with some Stampin Up Baja Breeze ink and I don’t know how I haven’t used it before now! It is so fun to play with! I added a bit of rainbow background paper from Kaisercraft’s Party Animals collection just to give a bit of a break between the all white. I also used my fringe scissors for the grass which I’ve not used in a long time! A few enamel dots from Your Next Stamp and we are good to go!
I hope you like it and don’t forget to play along with us on the blog to win that fabulous prize!
Today is our April Challenge! Our theme for you is Critters! You can create whatever you wish, as long as you have a critter on it!
Here’s my card for you this month!
For this card I did a lot of mixing and matching! The DP is from Lawn Fawn, the image is Your Next Stamp and the little window is from Taylored Expressions! The enamel dots are from my stash. I did a little bit of ink blending behind the window.
I hope you will stop by the blog and check out the rest of the DT creations and also to play along with us!
We were treated to a fun Lunch and Learn with Lea Lawson from PinkFresh Studio and got to use these gorgeous layered stencils. I’ve never used them before but they were soooo easy. No issues lining them up and the results were gorgeous each and every time. We also got that lovely HUGS die as well.
You will see that I rotated the sketch to do my card. I used some inks from both Stampin Up and Tim Holtz and the vellum is from Lawn Fawn. I added some gold foil paper from my stash and some lovely gumdrops from Your Next Stamp.
I hope that you will join us in our challenge this week and if you’ve never used a layered stencil before, I highly recommend it!
