Here we go folks…new Tuesday, new sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches! Wooohoo!

I loved this one! It’s so easy, and you can make it as simple or as embellished as you want. Easy to mass produce, pretty much the perfect sketch right!

Here’s mine!

I’ve had these two pieces of Doodlebug paper forever and it wasn’t until recently that I found the little doodlepops to match and thought this is a great little bit to make a card. I kept this really simple All I had was some cardstock, those 2 pieces of Doodlebug paper, a scrap piece for the inner circle and then the Doodlepops and voila! a really cute card with minimal supplies. I had the hugs sentiment in my sentiment jar that was precut from awhile ago! I think it is super cute! I hope that you will play along with us on the blog and don’t forget to leave some love for the rest of the DT, they have some really great projects for you to see!

Thanks for stopping by, and happy crafting!

So I’ve been watching these reels on FB and Instagram videos on these gorgeous small journal pages, and so ya, I jumped on that. I ordered a bunch of stuff from soto-studios and this is the first page that I’ve created using my starter pack. You get so much in that starter pack right away. It would take awhile to go through it all, and it’s a nice assortment of embellishments to get you started.

So the new challenge this week at Use Your Stuff is flowers so I wanted to incorporate that theme as well as some items from the Festive Friday #0136 International Fairy Day Inspo List.

I really love how this turned out. My sampler comes with it’s own journal and removable journal pages.

So for the Festive Friday I used the fairy of course, flower embellishments, stars, pink and although they are hard to see, I do have some vellum leaves on this as well. (ooopsie, when I was taking the picture, I didn’t realize I cut off the word unimaginable!. LOL).

No doubt I will have more pages to share in the coming days!

Coming to you live! No not really, this post was prepared yesterday! LOL

Today is Tuesday and you know what that means! Tuesday Morning Sketches is up and running with this week’s hot sketch!

Take a look!

Not gonna lie, this is a perfect sketch for scraps! Especially if they vary in color! This is easy to mass produce and takes no time at all.

So my friend gifted me that Annie’s Attic card kit that I highlighted a card from yesterday, remember? Well here’s another one. For this one, I used my own sentiment and a couple of crystal dots but everything else came from the kit! I love how it co-ordinates!

Now the Design Team has amazing projects for you this week, as always right! Head on over to the blog to play along and also to leave them some love. I challenge you to use just some little scraps from your craft table left over from a previous project, or if you are like me, you have a box with some paper scraps in it. Pick out some paper and build your card around that! I can’t wait to see what you do with this sketch!

Hey everyone, this didn’t post when I needed it to, so I’m doing it now. Tuesday Morning Sketches

is partnering up! You still have time to get in on our collaboration with Double Trouble Challenges!

Please visit their blog for all the details. But if you’d like to play along, be sure to follow the theme of ROYGBIV – use traditional rainbow colors or change them up to pastels for Easter cards, then add in our sketch with your project for the extra challenge. Our challenge will run for two weeks so you have until 4/16 to play along with both challenges!

Here is the sketch for our portion of the challenge!

Here’s mine folks!

I used some paper from Your Next Stamp Birthday Girl set and the sentiment die is from my stash! Be sure to play along with both challenges!

This week’s sketch is Raechelle’s favorite up on the Tuesday Morning Sketches Blog!

This is a great simple sketch! So my first card with this one was this fun little Christmas card.

This time staying with a holiday card, I went with Valentine’s Day.

This one was really easy to put together. I just dug into my Valentine’s box for all the elements. I started with the 3×4 journal card and then I matted it on some cardstock. I had this fun heart paper that I thought would work great and then just a little Valentine’s sentiment from Verve Stamps. Really simple but you could totally layer up this card if you wanted!

Thanks for stopping by and head over to the blog and see the great projects from the DT.

We’re back with a new sketch on the TMS blog today! Check out the new one…..

Here’s mine!

I found this embossed panel first and I’ve had it for so long in my stash that I wanted to use it. I then went with some border stickers from Crate Paper’s Farm House collection. The sentiment is from a fun autumn sticker book by Carta Bella and the little owl is from Carta Bella as well. A simple but fun card.

Head on over to our blog and see the really great bird cards our team has for you this week and feel free to play along with us. What birds do you have to share???

See you on the Tuesday Morning Sketches blog!

MTCC: Sketchy Challenge

Ohhh sketchy challenges 2 days in a row! Lucky you! This one is for Make the Cards Challenge this week.

Ok, this is what I did!

This looks like the Carta Bella collection from yesterday, but I don’t think it all is. Some may be though. I love the gold accents in this one with the sentiment and heart from my stash. I also love the vellum leaves that I added in there. A dainty little card. I hope you like it.

C’mon over to the MTCC blog and play along with us. The rest of the DT have some great projects for you to check out too!

Sorry it’s been awhile everyone. I’ve been so busy getting situated in my new job and then I took another part time job so not a whole lot of free time at the moment. I hope to settle into a routine soon and then squeeze in my crafting time on a regular basis!

Ok, so. New challenge at Use Your Stuff.theme is die cuts! I’d be hard pressed to find someone that doesn’t have one or two die cuts of something in your stash…could be an image, a shape, a word sentiment ….

Now I was at a crop last month and I did a make and take with these gorgeous 3D die cuts! I’m using a autumn one but I did end up buying some Christmas ones to use on future projects. They are from Hearty Crafts and I just love them!

So the background is just some watercoloring with inks and then the sentiment is from my stash as well as the Nuevo Drops. That 3D die cut is fabulous isn’t it!

Now the DT has some great projects on the blog for you to check out and we want you to play along with us too! Show us what die cuts you have hanging around your desk right now and make something from it!

Thanks for stopping by everyone!

CCC: August

Hello all! I’m here with your mid challenge reminder for our Christmas Craft Creations August challenge.

Here’s this month’s theme!

Now winter activities could be anything, skiing, skating, ice fishing, decorating a tree…..but what about Reindeer Games! 🙂

I had this really cute stamp set that I got for an online card class (which surprise, surprise, I’ve not done yet, and it was from last November!), and it’s from Close To My Heart. I thought it would be really fun to do a bit of a different take on the theme. I stamped out the stamp and sentiment using inks from my Tim Holtz Distress inks and some stampin up as well. The DP is from my stash and I die cut a couple of ovals to set off that image a little bit. I added a few iridescent crystals to finish it off.

Head on over to the blog to play along and win this month’s prize. (Just remember you need to include out monthly theme image as well as a link back to the blog to be entered to win).

Thanks for stopping by and happy crafting!

Oh boy! These days of summer are fading fast everyone. Soon it is going to be fall and my son will be going back to school. He’s less than thrilled, let me tell you!

Ok, here’s this week’s sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches

This has a fun prompt for the background doesn’t it?

I’m sure a lot of you may feel the urge to do embossing for that background, or maybe a background die of some sort? I went for some stenciling. Using the Joseph’s Coat technique I created this fun background with a Stampin Up leafy stencil. I was trying to use some fall-ish colors for this card.

The sentiment is from Craft Addicts Too and I just got it in last week. The sequins are from my stash as is the ribbon.

Head on over to our blog to play along in this week’s sketch. While you are there, check out the amazing projects from the rest of the DT.
