I got to use these adorable little piggies and made this fun fold card!

I was using some papers from the American Crafts valentine collections of XOXO and Be My Valentine. I colored the piggies with my copics and then fussy cut them to add to the front panel . The enamel hearts are just from my stash!

Don’t forget to head over to the blog to play along with us and to see the other great creations from the Design Team to inspire you.

2CCC: #52

Ok one and all! We are up and running over at 2 Crafty Critter Crazies with this month’s new challenge! We are being sponsored by Jan’s Digi Stamps.

We are sponsored this month by Jan’s Digi Stamps and they generouslyprovided images to our DT use on their inspiration projects.

I used the Merry Chris-Moose digi for my Christmas in July card. Our theme is actually ANYTHING GOES but I thought it would be fun!

I colored him just with my copics. The DP is from Miss Kate Cuttables…i thought the buffalo print went so well with his shift! I also added just a little bit of glitter paper for an added accent. Our DT has some really great projects for you to see using a variety of images from the shop so be sure to check them out!

Dragonfly Dreams: Add some Sparkle

Hey there all! I can’t believe we are already into May. The time has definitely got away from me. Have you been to the Dragonfly Dreams blog yet today?

Our May challenge is up, which is a fun one! Add Sparkle…there are so many things that you can use to sparkle and shine up your projects.

We are being sponsored this month by Digi Doodle Studios!

Yay DDS! The winner of the Challenge will receive 3 Digi Stamps only (digi stamp sets, paper, or sentiments not included) of their choosing. Thanks so much for being a great sponsor this month! If you head on over to the blog you can read all about this month’s challenge and our wonderful sponsor. You can also see the amazing projects the DT has created with some of the Digi Doodle images.

I was lucky enough to get this cutie called Pepper Belle Flora and she can be found here in the store!

For me, I went with some glitter paper that I don’t use near enough and of course some glitter Nuevo drops! You can’t see it, but for an extra layer, I also did the wings in some Wink of Stella. I colored her with my copics and my DP is from Lawn Fawn (yes, I’m still trying to work through this rainbow pack and it’s almost done! LOL). The sentiment is from the little jar on my desk of pre stamped/embossed sentiments so I’m not sure where this one is from.

I hope you like the card and I do hope that you will play along with us!

Two Old Bats April Challenge

Link to Challenge Blog

Ok everyone! It’s time for our new monthly challenge at Two Old Bats. We’ve got another great mood board. There’s lots to pick from here, pumpkins, green/orange/black/white, checks and stripes, eyeballs, cupcakes, witches and cauldrons, which are just a few that I picked out!

Here’s the card that I created for you!

So I used the Zelda Zombie from Kraftin Kimmie Stamps and added some papers from my stash. I colored it with my copics and used some dies to cut out the panels.

I went with the flourescent green color in the mood board, as well as the black stripes from the witch’s legs.

Please come play along with us and see the rest of the way the DT has inspired you for this challenge.

BSC #272

Hey again!

Our new monthly challenge is up at Brown Sugar Challenges.  Our theme is Breast Cancer Awareness.  I know last month was the actual month for this, but we are extending it one more month because it is such an important issue.

Our sponsor is Di’s Digis

For my card I just chose to create a Christmas card but kept the pink theme for BCA.

I colored the image with my copics.  The DP is from Snow Day by Crate Paper and the PEACE sentiment is from Stampin Up.,  I added a few sequins and a few little pearl dots from Nuvo.  I hope you like it and please play along with us this month!  Remember you can use anything that makes you think of BCA – the color pink, the ribbon symbol, perhaps it is an image that you found to help a friend or loved one as they battle this terrible disease.

We can’t wait to see what you create!

Frightful – KDB # 106

Hello scrappers!

Welcome to this week’s challenge on Kitty Bee Designs!  I’m highlighting a cute image from The East Wind! It’s called Lucy Loo – Morning Coffee…our theme this week is Halloween, and it’s kinda cute with the little skulls in the image!

Image may contain: text

I colored it with my copics in fun Halloween colors and then used some Halloween papers from my stash.  I had a fun little skull and spider web as well as a rub on sentiment from Tim Holtz.  I hope you like it and please play along with our Halloween challenge this week!

Bright and Beautiful

Hooray for Friday!  Weekend! So sad that we are down to our final weekends of the summer 😦

Ok it’s my team’s week at Brown Sugar and our sponsor this week is

My Besties!

We have a really fun color challenge for you this week! Look how bright this is!! Just perfect for your summer projects!

So for my card this week, I dabbled in some watercoloring.  I say dabbled because I’m not very good at it, but it was fun to play!  I used my Sakura Create watercolor markers as well as some copics and a few of the distress oxide inks!

My DP is from My Minds Eye – an older collection called Notable.  I also just added a few little sequins for that pop of red.

I am using this week’s sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches.  I used the All Abloom designer paper from Stampin Up as well as the Little Friends stamp set for the sentiment.  I used my sizzix for the flourish and the circles.  I colored the image with my copics and then popped it up with some pop dots.  I hope you like it and don’t forget to head over the the BSC blog to see what the rest of the DT has created for you.  You can’t see it in the picture but I used a bit of Wink of Stella in her hair just for a bit of extra shine.

Warmest Wishes

I am trying to get Christmas cards done for my craft fairs which are coming up in November.  I really liked the sketch that Mojo Monday had this week so I decided to play with that one!

Warm Wishes

I have been challenging myself to use the mounds of items all over my craft desk this week! I have a Jovial card kit from Basic Grey as well as a bunch of random stamp sets so I used them for this card.  I think those penguins are adorable.  The embossed background was another sheet I had lying around so decided to use that as well.  I hope you enjoy it and don’t forget to play along with Mojo Monday to get the creative juices flowing!

Happy Easter!

Hello everyone!.  Can you believe it is Daylight Savings this weekend?  Then right around the corner is Spring! Weeeee!!  The DT at Sunsational Stamps is going to be highlighting some of our fun Easter and Spring Stamps for you over the next week or so, to get you into the mood for nicer weather and all the buds and flowers blooming…Saying goodbye to winter for yet another year.

Today I am using this cute little bunny and egg image.  He’s just so adorable!  He may not be in the store yet, but he’s definitely going to be made available asap for you to use!
Lots of fun spring colors on this card and my favorite–layers 🙂  A little bit of stickles for the nose and the egg stripes 🙂 I colored him with my copics and then did some chalking in the background.   The DP is from Hot off the Press.  The flowers are $$ store and the sentiment is from Michaels.  My little bit of fringe is from CTMH.   Just because I’m really into them right now, a few little sequins to finish off the flowers. I hope you enjoy him and don’t forget to shop at the store to get started on your Easter and Spring cards!!
