Hey there everyone! Happy New Year! As you read this, I will of course be on my annual family trip to sunny Cuba! I hope the day is as beautiful wherever you are!
Our first challenge of the year for Christmas at Sweet Stampin is up and our theme is of course Anything Goes, but if you want that extra oomph of a challenge then it’s add some sparkle!
I realized that I have tonz and tonz of glitter paper in my stash so that’s what I chose to add the sparkle for my card!
I believe that this was one of the kits that I received from my partner for the Splitcoast Stampers Christmas card swap, so I am not sure what the images or DP are from.
I think it turned our really well though, and that little bit of glitter paper for the circle background really adds a nice touch.
I’m excited to see what you create. Drop me a line with your blog so I can check it out when I get back!
Happy December all! Wow, only a couple weeks until Christmas and 3 weeks until my annual trip to Cuba! Trying to get a bunch of projects done, so I can start the new year fresh….we will see how it goes.
Our challenge over on the Christmas at Sweet Stampin’ Blog is “CRITTERS”. We want to see some on your project!
I chose these fun llamas from Lawn Fawn! The DP is from my stash and I just added some simple embellishments with a few enamel dots and a fun vellum circle. I hope you like it!
Stop by the CASS blog and see what the rest of the DT has created to inspire you and play along in our challenge!
Hey everyone! I’m a bit late in getting this up! We have our new monthly challenge up at Christmas At Sweet Stampin. Although our challenges are usually Anything Goes, starting this month there is a theme that will be required to participate. This month it is TREES!
The design team has created some awesome projects for you to check out and get you started!
For my project I used up some of an old Paper Pumpkin Kit that I had from Stampin Up
Although I don’t get PP anymore I did enjoy the ease of the kits, especially for mass producing cards. Everything was pretty much there and you could just add some extra embellishments (or not) as you saw fit.
I hope you will play along with us over at the blog! See you there!
Hey everyone! Head on over to the Christmas at Sweet Stampin blog today for this month’s challenge. Our challenges are anything goes, but we have an optional twist of “STARS” this month.
For my card I was using some of the left over scraps I had from working on a layout. The DP is from Photoplay and the die cuts are Photoplay and Simple Stories.
I used my star punch to add some stars in the layers behind the focal picture.
Make sure you stop by the blog to see what the rest of the DT has created and to play along with us! See you there!
Hey everyone! Are you starting to make your Christmas/winter cards yet? If not now is a great time to start! We have a fun challenge up on the Christmas at Sweet Stampin’ challenge blog. Its always anything goes but for an added boost, we have given you the challenge of Snow people! The DT have created some great inspiration for you and here’s mine!
I have a ton of Christmas bits and bobs on my desk which is what I used to create this card. I sometimes challenge myself to create just using what is in arms reach!
Don’t forget to play along with us on the blog too!
I decided to play along with some challenges today, including one of my own. I wanted to use up some of the stickers from this Carta Bella Flower Market sticker sheet. I used it in a class and just really liked it.
I created this fun card for the challenge over at Tuesday Morning Sketches using this sketch
I thought it turned out really well. I just used some DP from my stash to go with it!
Tuesday Morning Sketches: use the sketch
Crafty Friends Challenge: Use 2 or more patterned papers
Simply Create Too: Use Pattern Paper
Through the Craftroom Door: Anything Goes
Here we are in July, but over at Christmas at Sweet Stampin’ we are still in the chills of winter! Our Christmas theme this month should you wish to accept it, is Christmas in the Sun! If you don’t want to go there, no worries, our challenges are always anything goes as long as it is Christmas!
Surprisingly, I didn’t have a lot of Christmas in the Sun images, so I went diggin on the Internet and found these adorable flamingos! I just had to get them printed off as my focal image and I paired it with some Reflections Christmas papers I’ve had forever in these pinks and greys! I kept it really simple with just some wintery sequins and snowflakes from my stash.
Come play along with us over on the blog! Show us how you keep the Christmas warm!
