Party Boy

It’s another fun challenge at The Crazy Challenge this week.  We are looking for your masculine cards and projects.  All the details can be found on the blog.

Here is my card this week.  The paper is BG.  The stamped image is from Stampendous and a favorite one that I use all the time.  The ribbon is from my stash as are the pearl and buttons.  I colored the stamped image with copics.  I think it’s called Cupcake Phillip. I also added brown stickles to the cupcake.

That’s our theme this week for the Crazy Challenge! Flowers are everywhere, DP, embellishments, brads, etc so this should be a really easy challenge. Make sure you check out all the details as well as the Design Team inspiration pieces for you this week here.

And here’s my card for this week’s challenge.

I’ve had this image FOREVER so I finally decided to use it. I just colored with my copics, added some DP from my stash and a border I cut out using one of my fun punches. The big flower was from Walmart in the wedding section and I just spritzed it with a little glimmer mist. The smaller ones just from my stash. A few brads and a bit of bling and we are done! I hope you like it.

Shaping up at the Crazy Challenge

It’s a new challenge over at CCH and this week it’s all about the shaped cards!  We would like to see some fun and unique shapes, anything that isn’t your typical square/rectangle traditional.  Our sponsor this week is the Digi Doodle Shop and they have some fabulous images, some of which we got to play with.  Here’s my card for this week

The shape was cut out using one of my cricut cartridges ( A Child’s Year I believe, very versatile).  I punched the butterflies using one of my cuttlebug dies and added a few bits of bling to liven them up.  The image was colored with my copics and the DP was just from my stash.  I have been introduced to flocking! I picked some up on sale at my LSS and love it, so the bunny’s ears and her eggs are flock! Way cool!  I hope you like it and be sure to stop by the challenge blog and enter this week’s challenge!

Entered into the following challenges:

The Crafty Pad: use a digi

I Did It Creations: Welcome Spring

Aly’s Sunday Challenge: Happy Spring

Creative Inspirations Paint: Easter

A Gem of a Challenge: Anything but a square

Card Makin’ Mamas: Animals

Papertake Weekly: Three of something (I have three little rosebuds)

Mami Doodles: Celebrate Spring

Lovely Lady

Welcome to Monday! It’s challenge day at The Crazy Challenge and this week, we’re looking for all the lovely ladies out there!  I must be on a vintage kick, which for me is surprising, because I never really thought of myself as the vintage type..anyway, here is my card.

The image is downloaded from the internet (I really wish I had a stash of vintage images from a book or something). The music sheet is left over from a Tim Holtz Christmas Tag..it was printed out onto vellum and then inked and distressed to give it a vintagy feel.  The bling, pearl strand, ribbons and flowers are all from my stash.

Make sure you stop by the Crazy Challenge Blog to check out all the details on this week’s challenge.  We’re being sponsored by Hobbismo and there is a great prize to be won!

I’ve entered into the following challenges:

It’s a new crazy challenge for you!  This week we are looking to see your buttons!  Big buttons, little buttons, shaped buttons whatever you have bring them over.  Check out our challenge blog so that you can link up your cards!   This week the DT was sponsored by the Digi Doodle Shop…oh they have such cute images~! Here’s my card with their sticky diddle becuz he’s just so darn cute!

I hope you like it.

The DP is Basic Grey (yes! I’m using my BG paper) and just some cardstock from my stash as are the buttons and the hemp which I got for Christmas.  The sentiment is an old Stampin Up one and I cut him out using my nestiblities and then my cricut for the bigger circle.  A little shading with chalks.  He was colored in using my copics (C1,C3,C5).

See you next week!

How cute is that???  This image wasn’t originally a Christmas one but I altered it to fit because I just thought it was sooo cute!  I added some distress inks and colored it with my Copics..as well as a little bit of stickles for snowflakes.  These tiny alphas are perfect to fit into the round tag and of course gotta have some ribbon!  I hope you enjoy and make sure you stop by the challenge blog to enter your own card into our ‘All I Want for Christmas is You’ Challenge!  We want to see your holiday/Christmas cards.
