TMS #667

Hey Gang! Mosey on over to the Tuesday Morning Sketches blog where you will find this week’s awesome sketch and a spot to enter your creation!

This sketch shows circles but really, you could use any shape that you wanted to for that element!

Blew the dust off of my flowers and brads for this one! I also can’t remember the last time I used some ribbon on a project either! I am almost done working through the Harvest Delight Collection from Creative Memories that was in my October 2019 SCT sampler. I used a punch for the leaves and the flowers and brads were just from my stash. A quick and easy card from a perfect sketch! Come play along with us!

Plant Smiles

Happy Wednesday! It has been gorgeous weather here in Calgary…warm and we are gearing up for Stampede which starts on Friday! Cannot wait. ūüôā ¬†YEEEHAW!

Penny’s Paper Crafty has a new challenge up this week! As always it’s anything goes and this week’s sponsor is

DIGISTAMPS 4 JOY!

The winner gets $10 to spend at the store!

Here is my card today using some images from the garden collection.  There are a lot of different images in this collection and you should stop by the blog and see what the rest of the DT has created as some of the other girls have used some of the other images!

I decided to use the two planters and the gloves for my card.  dav

The background floral paper is from my stash, that I got in a swap. ¬†I printed out the planters on some DP and then cut them out but you could just as easily print it out on white an color it. ¬†I added just a variety of different flowers from my stash . ¬†The gloves I printed out on some textured Sizzix paper that I have had forever…I wanted it to look like old worn leather gardening gloves. ¬†The sentiment is from Paper Smooches (Perky Plants). I hope you like it and hope to see you play along!

My Guys

After a bit of a hiccup in our challenge blog (we believe we were hacked) we are up and running again at Creative Corner Challenges! ¬†We have a new challenge for you hosted by Tina (who has a little prize for this week’s winner). ¬†We want to see eyelets and/or brads on your projects this week. ¬†It can be one or it can be many.

I have a layout for you this week of my husband and sweet boy.  This was taken a few years ago when we did our annual family vacation to Cuba.  It was the first one with Riley and so he is six months old in these pics.  We were just getting Riley used to the water and he took to it like a fish.  He still loves it!

He is such a cute little Christmas image that you can find in the store here and comes in both colored and b&w.

This is my Christmas card for you this week.

The DP is some left over Echo Park and  Basic Grey that I had used for some other projects.  I colored him with my copics and then added some stickles for some shiny fun.  The swirly diecut is from sizzix and the bling and brads are from my stash.  I colored the die cut with Eddie using some chalk. The sentiment is one from the store called Circular Merry Christmas I hope you like him and please stop by the blog to see the rest of the great inspiration for you this week.

1+2+3 Crazy Style

So on our blog at the Crazy Challenge this week, it’s a 1, 2, 3 recipe challenge and the crazy part is, you can pick your own 1,2,3! Our sponsor this week, is Sassy Studios!
For my card, I picked 1 image, 2 DP’s and 3 embellishments. I have stickles, brads and lace. Make sure you check out the blog to enter and to check out the other DT inspiration for you this week.

As you can see, I’ve used again the left overs from the Prima paper from my circle journal.¬† I added some lace that I inked to match the colors for my card.¬† I added just a few stickles to give her crown some shine and a few brads in the corner.¬† It’s been awhile since I used brads on anything!¬† Colored with Copics and then chalked around.¬† A simple card that I can use for pretty much anything.¬† I like that.

Flutterby, Butterfly

Oh wow! I am so sorry, I forgot to post my challenge yesterday for Lollipop Crafts and we have such a good one!¬† Robyn’s Fetish is graciously sponsoring this week’s butterfly challenge!¬† I’m sure you’ve seen her images all over blog land and she has such cute ones too!¬† We would love to see butterflies on your project!¬† It can be the main focus or a cute embellishment as in the case of my card!¬† Make sure you stop by the challenge blog for all the details and to win some great images from Robyn!

Here’s my DT card this week:

I colored my image using copics of course.¬† Cut out with my shaped nestiblity.¬† I added some flocking for the grass and a few brads for some added dimension.¬† The butterflies are just ones that I picked up at the dollar store ages ago and not used yet.¬† The paper was sent to me as part of a paper swap on http://www.swap-bot.com (if you like to do swaps, check it out!)¬† I hope you enjoy it and make sure you stop by the Lollipop challenge blog for all the deets on this week’s challenge and also to see all the great creations by the DT this week!
