TMS #664

Hello all! It’s Tuesday Tuesday. Skip on over to the Tuesday Morning Sketches blog and you will find this week’s awesome sketch to play along with!

A great, fun sketch and easy to play along with.

Still playing with my October 2019 SCT sampler, I used papers from the Pebbles This is Family Collection. I also used the puffy sentiment sticker that came in my sample and I added some gold enamel dots from my collection. The flowers I’m sure you recognize from earlier cards. I had a lot of these flowers printed off and they make great focal points for cards!

Be sure to stop by our blog and see the rest of the great cards from the design team using this week’s sketch and I hope you will play along with us too!

Buggy Hello

Hi all.

I am in a group on Splitcoast Stampers called the Baker’s Dozen.  We swap a card with a partner for 13 weeks… I think we are on round 17 (I joined in on round 13) 🙂  This is the first card that I sent to my partner.  I just got some distress oxide inks and wanted to play around with them a little bit.

The stamp is from Your Next Stamp and the sentiment and bling are from Stampin Up.  I really liked how it turned out and I hope my partner likes it too 🙂

Confetti

Hello my darlings!  It’s my challenge up on the Use Your Stuff blog today.  It’s all about weather!  We are looking to see what your weather related projects are this week, it could be a layout or card about weather, some weather embellishments, like clouds, raindrops, sunshine or yes, even snow.

Today I am using a stamp & sentiment from Kraftin Kimmie called  Look for Rainbows.  I have had this for a bit and finally cracked it open.  It’s such a cute little stamp!  I colored her with my copics and then I used some fun cloud DP from Little Yellow Bicycle called The Escape.  A titch of cord and some bling to finish it off.  I also gave the umbrella a kiss of Wink of Stella.

I hope you will play along with us on the blog today! I can’t wait to see what you come up with!

Holidays in Red

It’s February!  I love February mainly because it is my birthday month!

Here is a quick little card for our Christmas Crafts All Year Round challenge for the month.  Our theme is RED.  Your project should show red as the predominant color.

All the elements for this card are just from my Christmas stash.  I used a project life card as the focal point and then just built around that using some DP, twine, a red doily and some bling.  Nothing fancy but definitely screams RED!  I hope you like it and please play along with us this month and show us your red creations!

CCAYR- A Wintery Thanks

Here we are! Our first challenge of 2018 on the Christmas Cards All Year Round blog!  Our theme is THANKS!  In keeping with our challenge, it has to have a Christmasy/winter theme to it.

I had fun creating this card – I used some left over pieces from a card kit that I got from Scrapshotz.  The die cut deer I received in a swap and I love it!  I added some glittered accents in red for a pop of color.  Also, the thanks is from Stampin -up I believe. A few little gems to finish it off.

I hope you like it and don’t forget to stop by the blog and play along with us! We can’t wait to see what you create!

For Mom

Ok, so I have to get used to doing weekly challenges for my DT!  I almost missed this week’s challenge at Penny’s Paper Crafty Challenge blog!  It’s an anything goes challenge and we have these ADORABLE images from PAPER CREATOR to use this week! OMG!

Paper Creator is offering a £10 credit to the store for this week’s winner! There are some really fabulous images in there, that you are going to want to play along this week for your chance to grab some!

I chose this really cute button flower bouquet because I thought it would be a fabulous versatile image…

I used mine for Mother’s Day, but you could use it for a Just Because card, sympathy, a friend..pretty much anything…

I used some Stampin Up paper that I had on my desk from another project.  I wanted to use it up and it was perfect for some simple layers.  The sentiment is from the Greatest Greetings stamp set also from SU.  I added a touch of bling from my stash and a little bit of glossy accents to make those cute buttons stand out more.  I die cut the images using a CC Designs die.

I hope you enjoy the card and remember to play along on the blog with this week’s Anything Goes challenge!  Remember, there is also a DT call out, so if you think you might like to join, don’t forget to add DT to your entry when you link up!

The Happy Couple

Hi Everyone!  Tammy here and I am really excited to be a part of the Sunsational Stamps team and to bring you my first project as a DT member.  I saw the Bluebird of Happiness on the Scrapping with Lisa site and thought it would make such a cute wedding card.  Soon it will be the season for those pretty weddings, and it’s always great to have cards on hand.

The DP is from October Afternoon, and unfortunately I can’t remember the line it is.  I used my Spellbinders dies to cut out the scalloped and regular squares.  The image is colored with my copics and then I went over just a few areas with my Wink of Stella clear marker to give it a bit of sparkle.  (It doesn’t seem to show well in the photo though).  The sentiment is from Stampin Up (Labels of Love) and the little sparkly hearts are just from my stash.  I hope you enjoy this card and don’t forget to stop by the store and see what inspires your next project!

Captain America

is in the house…well kind of.  Our theme this week at RCS is to use superheroes!  We are supporting breast cancer month and all of those real live superheros that battle a disease or personal hardship each and every day!  We salute you.  We want to see your projects that salute the superheros you love, fictional or real!

I had a bit of a struggle with this challenge until I went to trusty ol Pinterest and found a great source of inspiration.  I found a great card to case, and I of course cannot find where it was I got it from, so if it looks familiar and you know who the source is, please let me know so I can give credit where credit is due!

In a unique step for me, almost my whole card was made using just cardstock.  Only a small strip of DP was used.   I hope you like it and please, come and play along with us!

Bling it on Baby

As you are reading this, I am basking in the Cuban sunshine, sipping alcoholic drinks, eating lobster (well maybe not since I’m allergic) and having a grand time finishing up my holiday!

Another new challenge at 4 Crafty Chicks this week.  Bring on your BLING!!  Oh you know you want to do this one!!  Who can resist the shiny??

SONY DSC

I decided to go with a Valentine’s day card with the challenge.  It feels like forever since I’ve made one and goodness knows I’ve got the supplies.  I just decided to go with some bits and bobs from my stash.  I don’t know who the DP is from but the little die cuts are all from K & Company.  The doily is from the $$ store and the bling is all from my stash.   I’ve got some pearls, a dainty rose and a cute bling heart in there as well.  The ribbon is left over from my project last week 🙂

Have you been to the blog?  The ladies have blinged it out!  Go see! 🙂

Butterflies

It’s snowing here.  A lot.  **sigh**  With all of the white stuff falling down, it’s kind of hard to think of anything but Christmas but it was nice to make a change.  Our challenge at Use Your Stuff this week, is Butterflies!

I have this really great Stampin Up die cut that I picked up but really haven’t had a chance to use yet so it was fun to break it out.

HPIM1315

I am mailing this out to someone special so I didn’t want to add too many embellishments to it.  I just used some scraps of DP that I had on my desk and my trusty go to Stampendous stamp set for the sentiment.  I added a few pearls and a little bling as well.  I hope you like it and be sure to stop by the blog and play along with us this week!
