Happy November everyone! Can’t believe it is getting so close to the end of the year already. I’ve been dealing with a lot of family stuff, which is why I haven’t been around lately.
I do have a new card for you for Penny’s Paper Crafty Penny’s Paper Crafty challenge this week! Our sponsors are Little Blue Button
Prize – $10 gift certificate for their online store
and Dr. Digis
Prize – 2 Digi Images of winners choice
Today I am using an image from Dr. Digi
I love making coffee cards and thought this one was rather cute to send to a friend!
I colored the image with my copics. I used some fun coffee paper from Your Next Stamp and the sentiment is from Stampin Up. The ribbon and sequins are just from my stash.
I hope you will play along with us in our Anything Goes challenge this week! See you soon!
Wednesday is here again! It another new challenge week over at Penny’s Paper Crafting blog and we have another amazing sponsor this week!
The winner this week will get to pick 1 uncolored image!
My image this week is a gorgeous one called Sweet Lilly and you can find it in their Etsy shop here
For this card I just used a sketch that I had found on Pinterest. I’m just using up some scraps from a kit that I had received at Crop & Create for Vicki Boutin’s class. I love these colors! I colored the image using my Copics and the sentiment is from Sweetly Framed stamp set from Stampin Up.
I hope you like it and please play along with us at Penny’s this week..as always, our challenge is anything goes and we would love to see what you are creating this week!
So I have a fun card today! I found an old card inspiration book called Get Real Greetings. I loved this book because it had some sassy sentiments in it. It’s pretty old (2005) and so the designs are a bit dated, but I totally wanted to use it with some newer stamps and such.
I created a card for the Wonderful Wednesday Challenge at Kraftin Kimmie Stamps. I have a lot of the KKS but never use them enough so I’m going to try and do a few different cards with them!
For today’s card I used Sophia.:) I colored her with my copics and used some paper from the Stampin Up Print Poetry Designer Paper. I’ve had it for a bit but I don’t know that I’ve ever used it before now!
I added some rick rack from Michaels and then a few sequins & dots from my stash. The sentiment is from the book and I just wrote it out on the computer. I hope you like it!

Hello everyone! It’s Friday yet again, which means we have a new challenge at Creative Corner Challenges this week. We are excited to be sponsored by Rick St. Dennis this week.
Our challenge is a simple anything goes for this week and you have the chance to win 3 digis from Rick’s Store. This week I am playing with 2 of his images, the first one is called Snoozy Elf
I just really thought he was so cute! I used some DP from the 12 Days of Christmas line from MME. I colored with my copics and I added some bling. I thought it would be fun to give the little jingle bells some added shine so I went over them with my glossy accents!
The next image is called Waltz. I thought she was very dainty and classy and for some reason, she inspired me to make an ATC. I haven’t done one of these in a very long time. I just used a bunch of little things that were already on my desk
I used my TH inks for this one. I colored her with my copics and then went over her with some modge podge. I inked the ATC card and then went over it with my french script stamp. I then added some ripped up paper that was sent to me in a swap. The sentiment was one that was sent to me in a different swap. i had that little rose in a bucket from…somewhere and then some little seed pearls. I then went over everything with modge podge and a finally spray with some spritz for a bit of glistening shine! I really like how she turned out.
I hope you will stop by the blog to see the other DT creations , including some from Rick’s DT who are joining us this week! There is some great mojo flowing on that page!
Happy Crafting everyone!
Happy Friday all and welcome to this week’s installment of Digi Haven’s next challenge. This week we are featuring freebie flowers!
Here is what you need to know:
June 15, 2012 – Free Floral Digi Challenge. Use any FREE digital Flower/Floral image you wish. Pair it up with another Free digital image (i.e. add a toad, fairy, butterfly etc.) if you wish. The image(s) can be a forever freebie, limited time freebie or freebie of the month as long as it’s free for the duration of this challenge. Please be sure to link back to the original artist or website on your blog. This Challenge ends on Thursday, June 21st.
This is what I’ve created this week.
You can’t tell from the outside but inside there is a sympathy sentiment. The digi can be found here from Making Our Mark. I wanted a simple elegant card for this one so I colored the rose with Copics and cut it out with my Spellbinders. A little embossing with the cuttlebug, some lace and a few pearls and there you have it. Make sure you stop by the blog to check out the rest of the DT inspiration for you and some great new links to freebies!
Entered into the following challenges:
Crafts and Me: Pearls and Roses
Freshly Brewed: Anything Goes
Paper Shelter: Anything Goes
Stampin’ Royalty: clean and Simple
It’s a new challenge over at CCH and this week it’s all about the shaped cards! We would like to see some fun and unique shapes, anything that isn’t your typical square/rectangle traditional. Our sponsor this week is the Digi Doodle Shop and they have some fabulous images, some of which we got to play with. Here’s my card for this week
The shape was cut out using one of my cricut cartridges ( A Child’s Year I believe, very versatile). I punched the butterflies using one of my cuttlebug dies and added a few bits of bling to liven them up. The image was colored with my copics and the DP was just from my stash. I have been introduced to flocking! I picked some up on sale at my LSS and love it, so the bunny’s ears and her eggs are flock! Way cool! I hope you like it and be sure to stop by the challenge blog and enter this week’s challenge!
Entered into the following challenges:
The Crafty Pad: use a digi
I Did It Creations: Welcome Spring
Aly’s Sunday Challenge: Happy Spring
Creative Inspirations Paint: Easter
A Gem of a Challenge: Anything but a square
Card Makin’ Mamas: Animals

Mami Doodles: Celebrate Spring
Oh man! I am so embarrased! I missed my first posting as a new Lollipop girl! I do apologize to you all! So the theme this week is Anything but a Card…a bit out of the box for me as I always make cards, or at least tags. The new Design Team is making their debut this week! Our sponsor this week is Meljen Designs…I’m sure you have seen her images everywhere! She even has a fabulous freebie section here
I love here stuff and was so excited to be using them for this challenge. Make sure you stop by the Lollipop Blog to check out all the fabulous DT creations as well as to link up your project to win some great images from Meljen!
So I decided to do something even different and went with this bookmark. I actually made it for my mom as part of a pay it forward swap on Facebook….it’s what she wanted..LOL I just love this grump image and I know I’m going to be doing a lot more with it!
Not a lot going on here. I embossed the bookmark with the clockworks folder and used one of my border punches. The DP down the centre was just from my stash and I used a border punch for that as well. I cut the image out with my nesties, colored it with copics and added some chalk. I also added a bunch of stickles to make him pop some more. The little READ book is from my cricut cartridge and the flower from my stash. A little fibre to top it off!
Have a great day everyone, and make sure you stop by the Lollipop Crafts blog on Thursday for the sponsor spotlight, where I have a card that I created using this guy again!
This bookmark is in the following challenges:
Craft Your Passion: Anything Goes
Karber: Inspired by a book (I hope this counts as it was inspired by all books!)
Corrosive Challenge: Orange, Red & Yellow (I’ve got just a bit of red in my fibre there)
