Two Old Bats April Challenge

Link to Challenge Blog

Ok everyone! It’s time for our new monthly challenge at Two Old Bats. We’ve got another great mood board. There’s lots to pick from here, pumpkins, green/orange/black/white, checks and stripes, eyeballs, cupcakes, witches and cauldrons, which are just a few that I picked out!

Here’s the card that I created for you!

So I used the Zelda Zombie from Kraftin Kimmie Stamps and added some papers from my stash. I colored it with my copics and used some dies to cut out the panels.

I went with the flourescent green color in the mood board, as well as the black stripes from the witch’s legs.

Please come play along with us and see the rest of the way the DT has inspired you for this challenge.

Buggy Hello

Hi all.

I am in a group on Splitcoast Stampers called the Baker’s Dozen.  We swap a card with a partner for 13 weeks… I think we are on round 17 (I joined in on round 13) 🙂  This is the first card that I sent to my partner.  I just got some distress oxide inks and wanted to play around with them a little bit.

The stamp is from Your Next Stamp and the sentiment and bling are from Stampin Up.  I really liked how it turned out and I hope my partner likes it too 🙂

Cup of Thanks

Hey you! Thanks for stopping by!  Today I’ve got a fun card for you for my guest spot on the Color Crazy Challenge Blog.  I’m using an image from Lemon Shortbread called Hot Cuppa Girl.   I just colored her with some basic markers.  I wasn’t really going for any shading or definition.  My DP is just random sheets from swaps that I have done recently.  I paired it with a sentiment from the Cup of Tea set from My Favorite Things.  A few Nuvo dots to finish it off and voila!  I hope you like it and be sure to stop by the blog and see what the rest of the DT has created for you!

Frightful – KDB # 106

Hello scrappers!

Welcome to this week’s challenge on Kitty Bee Designs!  I’m highlighting a cute image from The East Wind! It’s called Lucy Loo – Morning Coffee…our theme this week is Halloween, and it’s kinda cute with the little skulls in the image!

Image may contain: text

I colored it with my copics in fun Halloween colors and then used some Halloween papers from my stash.  I had a fun little skull and spider web as well as a rub on sentiment from Tim Holtz.  I hope you like it and please play along with our Halloween challenge this week!

Breaking up is hard to do

So I have a fun card today!  I found an old card inspiration book called Get Real Greetings.  I loved this book because it had some sassy sentiments in it.  It’s pretty old (2005) and so the designs are a bit dated, but I totally wanted to use it with some newer stamps and such.

I created a card for the Wonderful Wednesday Challenge at Kraftin Kimmie Stamps.  I have a lot of the KKS but never use them enough so I’m going to try and do a few different cards with them!

For today’s card I used Sophia.:)  I colored her with my copics and used some paper from the Stampin Up Print Poetry Designer Paper.  I’ve had it for a bit but I don’t know that I’ve ever used it before now!

I added some rick rack from Michaels and then a few sequins & dots from my stash.  The sentiment is from the book and I just wrote it out on the computer.  I hope you like it!

This is one of my favorite images to use.  It’s an older  one and honestly I am not even sure that you can get it anymore in the store, (but who knows it could turn up as a freebie posted by me;) ).
I wanted a simple thank you card.  Now normally I am not a pink person, but I wanted to use some pink scraps I had found and so I decided to give it a whirl.
Almost everything on this card is from my stash.  I did emboss the one panel using my hearts Cuttlebug folder.  The ribbon is SavvynSassy.  I just colored the image with my copics, did a bit of a doodle border and the added a bit of bling in the corners.   The stamped sentiment was sent to me in a swap.   (I apologize for the bad picture..)
I’ve entered into the following challenges:
Charizma Cards: Anything goes
Paper Shelter: Anything Goes
Truly Scrumptious: Rocked up Pink (use mostly pink)

I also wanted to share with you just for fun, some other older AIF projects that I did with the same image

Sarah Hurley Challenge #45 Colouring

It’s a new challenged at the Sarah Hurley Challenge blog today and this week we are being sponsored by

Yay! Robyn has graciously donated

5 digital stamps or 4 digital stamps and 1 digital paper set of their choice.  A very awesome prize to be sure.  Here is my project this week using Robyn’s best friends bunnies

I cut the tag using my cricut and added a punched border, some inking, my baker’s twine (from my Whisker Graphics win on FB) a button flower, paper flowers and some jute.  The image was colored (since this is our theme after all) using my Copics!  I hope you enjoy it and don’t forget to stop by the blog to enter your own colored project to win.

If Friends Were Flowers

I had thought that I had autoposted this yesterday but looks like I had only saved it as a draft. Yikes

It’s a new challenge at the Crazy Challenge this week, and yay! it’s my turn to host. It’s a monochromatic challenge this week. We’re looking for white and one other color on your projects. You can find all the challenge details listed here on the blog.    We are being sponsored by Di’s Digi Downloads this week.  The lucky winner will win 5 (five) of Di’s great images. Here is my card this week.

The DP was part of a swap that I did.  My c/s is Bazill.  I colored with my copics of course.  The bling is from the $$ store and the sentiment was sent to me as part of a swap for one of the facebook groups I’m in.  I hope you like it and I can’t wait to see your challenge project this week!  The ribbon is savvynsassy (the light pink) and my stash (dark pink) and the button was sent to me in a swap as well.

Bling it!

It’s challenge day at Lollipop Crafts. Sorry for the late post but I have a sick little boy.  😦  Our sponsor for this week’s challenge is Digi’s with Attitude! Oh they have such cute stuff!

The theme Kris picked this week is to Bling it! You’ve got it and we want to see it. Anything that sparkles and shines, rhinestones, glitter, stickles, whatever! Any project will do, you don’t have to just create a card, you can do an ATC, a 3D project, altered art …it’s limitless

Here’s my card for this week’s challenge.  I have been working on some circle journals so I decided to use the scrap paper I had left over to create my challenges this week.  It was fun to see what I could come up with.

The paper is an old Prima line that i have had forever.  I added some rhinestones and stickles from my stash to bling her up.  Colored of course with my copics!

Here’s my DT card this week:

I colored my image using copics of course.  Cut out with my shaped nestiblity.  I added some flocking for the grass and a few brads for some added dimension.  The butterflies are just ones that I picked up at the dollar store ages ago and not used yet.  The paper was sent to me as part of a paper swap on http://www.swap-bot.com (if you like to do swaps, check it out!)  I hope you enjoy it and make sure you stop by the Lollipop challenge blog for all the deets on this week’s challenge and also to see all the great creations by the DT this week!
