TMS #704

Hey there, thanks for stopping by today! Let’s check out the new sketch up at Tuesday Morning Sketches!

This is a great sketch for mass producing cards and it really appeals to my love of layers!

Now I totally built this card just using some items already on my desk. The DP was sent to me with a card that I got recently. Just two double sided sheets which worked perfect for this. I also had some scraps of black for the mats. The sentiment I had just bought online and cracked it open for this card, and I really like it. I think that’s gonna be on a lot of upcoming cards. The stamp set, another item on my desk is from Stampin Up. I was searching through some piles of die cuts and I thought this was a perfect size for that square. Finally to top it off, some confetti that was loose from another project.

All in all, I think it took maybe less than 10 mins to make this card. So with a great sketch to start off with and like 5 or less supplies….voila…a nice card to send to a friend!

So now that you’ve seen what I’ve done with the sketch, head on over to the blog to see what the rest of the DT has come up with for you to be inspired by!

Here is our first sketch of 2023 on the Tuesday Morning Sketches blog!

What a fun sketch!

Here we go with mine!

I pulled out my hexagon punch for this and used some scraps from my desk. I added a few die cuts to add a bit of dimension.

Be sure to stop by the blog and see the great projects that the DT have created for you!

Here we go again! Another great sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches and another rainbow card from me!

I still had a couple of rainbows on my desk that I wanted to use up, so I added them to this card!

I used some Lawn Fawn Rainbow plaid paper to go with and the sentiment I do believe is Stampin Up. I added the hearts and clouds that came with the rainbow set. Another bright and cheery card to send to a friend.

Be sure to head over to the blog and see what the rest of the DT has created for you this week with this awesome sketch and be sure to play along!

Hello and welcome to March! Can you believe it’s here already! Have you been to the Tuesday Morning Sketches blog yet? Our new challenge is up!

I went into some fall colors for this challenge. I love my Echo Park Celebrate Autumn papers and that’s what I used for this one.

I added in some leaves from my stash as is the sentiment. The die cut is from I believe Simple Stories. A simple card but if you head over to the blog, you can see all the great ways the DT has interpreted this week’s sketch and you can play along with us!

See you there!

Cup of Thanks

Hey you! Thanks for stopping by!  Today I’ve got a fun card for you for my guest spot on the Color Crazy Challenge Blog.  I’m using an image from Lemon Shortbread called Hot Cuppa Girl.   I just colored her with some basic markers.  I wasn’t really going for any shading or definition.  My DP is just random sheets from swaps that I have done recently.  I paired it with a sentiment from the Cup of Tea set from My Favorite Things.  A few Nuvo dots to finish it off and voila!  I hope you like it and be sure to stop by the blog and see what the rest of the DT has created for you!

CCAYR- A Wintery Thanks

Here we are! Our first challenge of 2018 on the Christmas Cards All Year Round blog!  Our theme is THANKS!  In keeping with our challenge, it has to have a Christmasy/winter theme to it.

I had fun creating this card – I used some left over pieces from a card kit that I got from Scrapshotz.  The die cut deer I received in a swap and I love it!  I added some glittered accents in red for a pop of color.  Also, the thanks is from Stampin -up I believe. A few little gems to finish it off.

I hope you like it and don’t forget to stop by the blog and play along with us! We can’t wait to see what you create!

Hi all!  It’s been a little nuts here which is why I haven’t been around lately.  Now I’m trying to get back on schedule so here’s this week’s challenge from Penny’s Paper Crafty.  Our sponsors this week are  Fred She Said as well as Connie Fong Art

Today I am using a pre-colored image from Fred She Said to create this cute little Thank you card.

I had this pre embossed panel in a swap and I thought it would look nice with the rose.  I printed it out 2x.  I fussy cut the whole thing once and then just the rose on the second one and popped it up with dimensionals.  The sentiment is a sticker from creative imaginations and then I added a few Nuvo drops in the black.

I hope you like it and will join us for our anything goes challenge this week.

WCMD with MFT – Challenge #2

Ok, here is challenge #2 for My Favorite Things World Card Making Day challenge.

Challenge 2: DIE-NAMICS DESIGNS

Our noon challenge is all about die cutting. Put your stamps and inks away for a bit because you won’t be needing them for this challenge. Create a card that features 100% die cutting for a chance to win our noon prize.

Enter your card by 10 pm EDT on Sunday, October 8, 2017.

Winners will be announced Monday, October 9, 2017.

Ok luckily you don’t have to have MFT products to play along (because for some reason I don’t own any..oh the horror!).

I made a simple thank you card for this one.

The background die is from Taylored Expression and the Thank you I cut 5 times and layered together.  The die is from YNS. I also added some glossy accents to the sentiment.  The DP is just from my stash.

I hope you like it.  I’ll be back later on with challenges 3 & 4 🙂

Thanks

Robyn’s Fetish…….this week at Lollipop Crafts Robyn is offering one lucky winner  5 digital images or 4 digital images and one digital paper set of your choice. What a great prize! It’s the sponsor spotlight today on the blog so you can find out all about Robyn and her great images as well as see some new inspiration pieces from the Design Team.

Here is the one that I created using a sketch that Gloria had put up back in April for the CanadianScrapSwapChat monthly card challenge.  This month we had to pick a previous sketch and use it for a new piece.

All the paper are just scraps from my stash (I can’t believe that I have so many, even after I did a scrap swap!)  The ribbon is from my stash. I used one of my MS border punches.  The stitching is fake using some old rub-ons that I found that I have had FOREVER!  I colored Robyn’s image using my Copics.   The THANKYOU is an old rub on as well.  This is just a really simple card.  It’s hard to tell from the picture but the orange border isn’t glued down all the way so that it kinda sticks up a bit for a bit of dimension.

Enjoy and you still have time to enter this week’s recipe challenge at LC! You can find out more here.

I’ve entered this in the following challenges:

FabnFunky Challenges: Stitching

Ruby’s Rainbow: Stitching

City Crafter Challenge: Scrap Happy (use scraps..)

Shopping Our Stash: Our Weakest Link (that thing you just have to buy..for me RIBBON! I have soooooooooooooooooo much ribbon it’s crazy).

Try it on Tuesday: Anything Goes
