Hey there! I’m back with a great new sketch for you that is up on the Tuesday Morning Sketches blog now! I hope you will play along with us!

I didn’t go too fancy with this sketch. I had been working on a card kit that I got at a recent crop so I used up some extra bits that I had for it.

I also used some dies in my collection to do the different layers and the snowman stamp is one that I picked up at a thrift store and just love!

I hope you like this week’s card. Thanks for stopping by and don’t forget to give the rest of the DT some much deserved love for their creations this week!

Hello one and all!

Check out this week’s sketch for Tuesday Morning Sketches!

Mine is slightly different than the sketch….I always get the angles wrong! LOL

So I’ve been playing with a card kit that I got at the last crop and so this was created using some of the left over pieces that I had. I know the leaves and circle look green, but they are actually gold! (But now looking at this, maybe I should have went with green…..LOL )

I hope you like the card and be sure to stop by the blog because you know the DT has some great examples for you too! Come play with us!

I’m bringing you our latest sketch from the Tuesday Morning Sketches blog!

I think with this one, you could either make your frame like I did with washi or paper strips, or maybe you might have a die that is similar and can do it for you! I know you will want to check out the blog because the DT has some great ideas on how to do the borders!

I am playing with another card kit. I got this one from Scrap Shotz at the Great Canadian Scrapbook Carnival back in April (and I’m just now getting to it). I’ll be posting the cards I made from it at a later date, but I’m down to my last few pieces of DP. I just used some gold glitter paper for my border and a sentiment stamp from my stash. The flowers are also from my stash as well. It’s not real fancy but I like the gold accents. It’s hard to tell from the picture, but the DP has gold in it as well.

Be sure to stop by the blog to play along with us ok! We can’t wait to see what you create!

Coming to you live! No not really, this post was prepared yesterday! LOL

Today is Tuesday and you know what that means! Tuesday Morning Sketches is up and running with this week’s hot sketch!

Take a look!

Not gonna lie, this is a perfect sketch for scraps! Especially if they vary in color! This is easy to mass produce and takes no time at all.

So my friend gifted me that Annie’s Attic card kit that I highlighted a card from yesterday, remember? Well here’s another one. For this one, I used my own sentiment and a couple of crystal dots but everything else came from the kit! I love how it co-ordinates!

Now the Design Team has amazing projects for you this week, as always right! Head on over to the blog to play along and also to leave them some love. I challenge you to use just some little scraps from your craft table left over from a previous project, or if you are like me, you have a box with some paper scraps in it. Pick out some paper and build your card around that! I can’t wait to see what you do with this sketch!

Happy Monday everyone! Monday, is it ever really happy??? LOL

So on the Use Your Stuff blog today we have an Anything Goes challenge! Who doesn’t love that! We just want to see what you are working on this week.

For me, my BFF gave me one of those Annie’s Attic card kits (she got two in error). I hadn’t used them before so it was fun to give it a try. They give you a lot of stuff in the bag including paper, stencil, stamp, ink, some enamel dots and a bunch of die cuts and then the instructions to make 3 cards. I’m guessing that since they give you 2 sheets of the die cuts, you can make 2 of each card. This one was very red, white and blue! I decided to just make the 3 with the instructions and then use the rest of the supplies for a bunch more cards. I ended up getting a baker’s dozen out of the kit and I still have a bunch of the enamel dots and a shwack of the die cuts left. I really like the projects though! I needed to make birthday cards and since most of them were going to the USA it kinda worked out.

Here’s one from the batch!

The sentiment and the card base were mine but pretty much everything else was in the kit. I decided to use some of my clear bling rather than the red and blue enamel dots on this one. This was actually the last card that I made with just some scraps that I had left over.

If you want to see all the cards I made with it, pop on over to my instagram page: if_the _scrap_fits and you can see them all there.

I hope you will stop by the blog and see what the rest of the DT have for you.

Thanks for stopping by everyone!

CCAYR- A Wintery Thanks

Here we are! Our first challenge of 2018 on the Christmas Cards All Year Round blog!  Our theme is THANKS!  In keeping with our challenge, it has to have a Christmasy/winter theme to it.

I had fun creating this card – I used some left over pieces from a card kit that I got from Scrapshotz.  The die cut deer I received in a swap and I love it!  I added some glittered accents in red for a pop of color.  Also, the thanks is from Stampin -up I believe. A few little gems to finish it off.

I hope you like it and don’t forget to stop by the blog and play along with us! We can’t wait to see what you create!

Merry Christmas – A UYS sketch challenge

Sorry this is late everyone.  I’ve been pretty sick the last few days which prompted a trip to the ER over the weekend and I’ve not been able to get quite back into the thick of things.  Long story short, I’m having some severe headaches and I had some  numbness all down my left side so I’m scheduled for an MRI tomorrow.  Will keep you posted if anything serious.

So, a sketch challenge is up at Use Your Stuff this week.  And it’s a great one that could be used for both cards and layouts!  I chose to use it for my card this week.

Merry Christmas

Now I had a left over card kit, so I am not exactly sure who it is by.  I just loved that it all went together to put this card in motion.  The sentiment is a rub on from Memory Makers and the flowers are Prima.  I inked the chipboard snowflakes to match the colors in my card.  I hope you enjoy it and don’t forget to head over to the blog to play along with us.

A card kit swap with my pal Cath

So my friend Cathy over at C-Cubedx2 and I decided that each month starting with May we were going to do a card kit swap.  We would each send the other enough stuff to make 1 card-cardstock, papers, images and assorted embellies.  Each of us would have the same stuff to work with and at the end of the month we would post on our blogs the cards we made.  So without further adieu here are the cards that we made with the kit that I sent to Cath.

My favorite thing about doing these is seeing the diversity that can be achieved using exactly the same product.  Yay us!  For June it was Cath’s turn to pick the theme and it will be masculine cards…can’t wait to see what we come up with, so make sure you tune in to see.  Also make sure you stop by her blog here and check out her other great cards!

March Card Kit..my reveal

So on the Scrapshotz.com board we did a march card kit swap.  I sent a kit to my partner and she sent one to me.  The object was to create a card and see how they turn out using all the same supplies.  I’ll be doing this again with my friend Cathy (check out her blog here) once we mail the kits out, so stay tuned for that.

Here are the cards that I made and when my partner uploads hers, I’ll post them so that you can see the difference.  Enjoy.
