TMS #692

Hello everyone! It’s been awhile, but I’m back today and I’ve got a new old challenge for you from Tuesday Morning Sketches.

It’s time for the year in review where the DT picks their favorite sketches of the year and we create all new projects!

Our sketch this week comes from Donna!

Donna chose sketch #659 for her favorite.

This was the card I made then from a Scrapbook & Cards Today Sampler.

Here is today’s card, surprise! Made from another sampler!

I used papers and cut outs from the August 2020 sampler, which had product from Pink Paislee’s 5th & Monaco collection and the Kate and Ash collection from Simple Stories. The sentiment is from my stash and the enamel dots are Simple Stories.

I hope you like it, and be sure to come play along with us this week over on the blog. The DT has created some great projects for you to see!

Dragonfly Dreams: July

It’s time for our July challenge at Dragonfly Dreams everyone! Our theme for the month is Indoor Activities/Hobbies.

I was at first stumped at what to do for this one, but then I realized that there is a lot that this could entail….board games, crafting, baking/cooking, watching movies or tv…lots really.

I chose to go with one of my son’s favorite activities…LEGOS! I’m sure a lot of moms can relate!

I have this Stampin Up set called Boys will Be Boys and it was perfect for this one.

I stamped the image in various directions quite a few times and then colored it with some copics just in some basic colors. It’s hard to se but some of them are also highlighted with some Glossy Accents (the ones that look a bit darker 😉 ). A perfect card for that boy in your life.

Make sure you drop by the blog and see the rest of the projects from the DT, they have a great variety for you!

TMS #653

Hello all!

I hope you had a lovely Easter holiday! Sadly on my end, although I was happy to head to my farm in Saskatchewan, we arrived back yesterday and realized that we all have Covid. It is not a fun time in this house! 😦

What is fun though, is our new challenge at Tuesday Morning Sketches!

I had this Lawn Fawn cupcake die set that I had never used, and to be honest, I don’t know where I got it from. I did want to use it tough and so I paired it with some fun papers from my stash as well as a fun birthday sentiment. Of course, enamel dots right!

Be sure to head over to the blog to see what fun the rest of the DT has created for you and we hope that you will play along with our challenge this week.

Thanks for stopping by!

Bugaboo Birthday

Happy Wednesday Bloggers!  I hope you are all well.  I’ve had a sick household over this last week, which was kinda blech, as it was our long weekend and the official kickoff to camping season.

I haven’t done a lot of scrapping this weekend but I do have a cute card for you today!  It’s a new challenge week over at Penny’s and we have 2 fabulous sponsors for this week:

who is giving a luck winner 4 free images of choice

 and

who is offering a lucky winner a $12 gift certificate to their store!

Both companies have amazing digitals to use you can’t go wrong with either one!

This week I am using a digital stamp from Bugaboo!

This is a fabulous birthday cake stamp is handy to use for a quick birthday card and just some scraps from your basket.  This week I am pairing my anything goes theme at Penny’s with the Mojo Monday sketch.  Again, a really great sketch that you can use with scraps and just knock out a quick and fun card!

I just used some pieces from my scrap bucket (I even found some teal burlap in there to match my paper).  I colored the image just using my Sharpies this week and I added some stickles to every other layer, to bring in the sparkle from the chevron multi colored paper.  I also used my spellbinders to die cut.

I hope you like it and don’t forget to check out the blog for the other great projects from the DT and to play along with our anything goes challenge (it couldn’t be easier!).

How fun is this guy!  I paired him up with the Summer Fun collection from Fancy pants that I have been trying to use up, so it worked perfectly!  I colored him with my copics and then cut him out.  It’s really hard to tell from the picture but his cool shades and his floaty both have some glossy accents!

Happiness Always

Hello my pretties!  It’s fun Friday and we have a new challenge up at Creative Corner Challenges this week.  It’s time to eat, drink and be merry–show us your food/drink themed projects this week.  The DT has created some great projects for you.

Here is mine for this week.004

I don’t know where this image came from….just that it has been sitting on my desk for ages now waiting to be used.  I think it probably came in an image swap I did at some point.  I colored it with my copics and the sentiment has some Tim Holtz ink.  The DP were just some pieces sitting on my desk from a previous project that I needed to use up.  A little button and a die cut flourish and voila!

I hope you like it and join us at the blog this week to play in our challenge.

Card a Day Blog: die cuts

Seeing Red with Craft Your Passion

Well here it is, my last week as a guest DT for Craft Your Passion.  A big thank you to CYP for having me. It has been a great honor and I have enjoyed every minute of it.  This week, another great challenge for you.  We are SEEING RED!  We would love to see it with your projects as well, so make sure that somewhere on there, it can be in your DP, an embellishment, some coloring in an image, there is some RED! Make sure you stop by the blog for all the details and prize information!

Here is my card for this week.  I loved this image from CocoDingo because I’ve had this Cinco De Mayo paper in my stash forever that I could finally use.  I added a little bit of jupe and a bit of ribbon and that’s it for this one.  The stamped sentiment was from an old stamp I found in my stash.  The image was colored with my copics.
