It’s getting spooky on the Make the Cards Challenge blog today! Our new theme is up, and you guessed it —HALLOWEEN is what we are going with!
I was just using some bits and pieces from my Halloween box for this one. I knew I wanted to use that NEVERMORE tag as my focal point. So I just started grabbing bits and bobs that I thought would layer well for work with the card. I really like how this turned out!
The DT has put together some really great projects for you to see on the blog. They know how to do spooky right!
Stop by and play along with us…we can’t wait to see your spooky or cute projects
Hey everyone! Thanks for your patience! It’s been a busy 10 days! We had to get a new hard drive for the computer and so I lost a lot of programs, pictures and apps that I use for my crafting. 😦
It’s also been the last week or so of school for my son, not to mention planning his 13th birthday on the 4th of July and then work being busy. So ya, not a lot of crafting time really over the last little bit.
I hope to get some stuff done in the next few days as I’m going away from the 30th to the 3rd for my son’s birthday.
Full disclosure, I found this one a bit tricky with that triangle and it took me a couple of tries, but I figured it out!
Here’s what I have for you!
Using my October 2019 SCT sampler, I picked out some papers and embellishments I got of the Creative Memories Harvest Delight collection. I really loved the colors in this collection and those pretty flowers.
My sampler had some sentiment cards in it, so it was perfect for this big focal point of the card.
The design team has some amazing projects for you (again!) to check out using this sketch. Drop by the blog and leave them some love. We hope you will play along with us too!
Hey, I’m here with your mid month reminder of our Christmas challenge for February over at Christmas Craft Creations!
Blue and Silver are a great color combo for Christmas!
The paper is from my stash and it’s nice and soft. It’s hard to tell but that bottom strip is a gorgeous silver foil paper. It really sets it off nicely, and I matched it with the peace sentiment from stampin up in the same foil . A few little silver balls and voila!
Come by the blog, see what everyone has created and play along with us!
Welcome everyone to this month’s new challenge for 2 Old Bats Halloween Challenge. Can you believe we are in September already!
As always, our challenge is anything goes and each month we give you an inspiration piece to get you started.
Here’s what I created for you
I was really inspired by those skeleton heads! I was actually going to go black and white and then I decided to add a little gold in there just because. The image is from a Tim Holtz halloween collection that I have and I went over it with some distress ink. The paper is from recollections. I die cut a piece of gold foil paper and then did a bit of gold embossing for my sentiment. I really like how this turned out.
Be sure to stop by the blog and see the great creations that the rest of the DT has done and be sure to play along with us with your own Halloween inspired project!
