I actually put this card together at the farm last week with those limited supplies that I brought along, remember? Not too bad if I do say so myself.
The DP is from Crate Paper and is a 6×6 pack that I have been working through for awhile now. I already had the image in my die cut tin. I didn’t have any shaped die cuts so I had to cut the oval out by hand which is a bit rough but gives it some visual interest right? 🙂 All the die cuts I had in my tin so that was ok, but I didn’t have any ribbon or twine! So I managed to find some kite string in the trailer and used that!! I took a little bit and colored it with an ink pad for the brown bow, just to set it off a little bit.
I think this turned out really well considering what I had to work with..LOL. Now be sure to stop by the blog and see what the rest of the DT has created for you and as always, don’t forget to play along with us.
So I wanted to share this card with you from last week’s sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches. You can’t link up as our new sketch comes out tomorrow but I really like how this one turned out.
I was at my farm in Saskatchewan when I did my card for this, and I only took a few supplies….a tin of die cuts, a few 6×6 paper packs, a couple of SCT samplers, some inks, copics and a few stamps. The only thing was, I couldn’t upload to my blog from my phone. I had to email my projects in and then the team lead would post to the challenge blog. Unfortunately I couldn’t get mine to show up. So I figured now may as well work right?
That envelope through me off at first. I didn’t have any with me so I decided just to draw one free hand. Now if you decide to use this sketch for something, remember you could use any shape there really, or a tag!
I used one of my samplers for this DP and then added these flowers that you’ve seen me use quite a few times from my tin. I also added a small sentiment and some gold hearts. The envelope I just cut free hand from some pink cardstock. I think these were PinkFresh flowers and there are just so many and I’ve used them for so many projects and I still have some, so be prepared for them to show up again! 😉
This is the last little bit from my SCT sampler! I used one of the die cuts included with the sampler and then I added a sentiment from one of dies in my stash. Some black Nuevo drops and we are good to go.

Hello all! It’s Tuesday Tuesday. Skip on over to the Tuesday Morning Sketches blog and you will find this week’s awesome sketch to play along with!
A great, fun sketch and easy to play along with.
Still playing with my October 2019 SCT sampler, I used papers from the Pebbles This is Family Collection. I also used the puffy sentiment sticker that came in my sample and I added some gold enamel dots from my collection. The flowers I’m sure you recognize from earlier cards. I had a lot of these flowers printed off and they make great focal points for cards!
Be sure to stop by our blog and see the rest of the great cards from the design team using this week’s sketch and I hope you will play along with us too!
Hey everyone! Thanks for your patience! It’s been a busy 10 days! We had to get a new hard drive for the computer and so I lost a lot of programs, pictures and apps that I use for my crafting. 😦
It’s also been the last week or so of school for my son, not to mention planning his 13th birthday on the 4th of July and then work being busy. So ya, not a lot of crafting time really over the last little bit.
I hope to get some stuff done in the next few days as I’m going away from the 30th to the 3rd for my son’s birthday.
Need a sketch to jumpstart? Well head on over to the Tuesday Morning Sketches blog and see this week’s challenge sketch and the great inspiration that the Design Team has sorted out for you!
I really like this one! I went a bit crazy with some layers for this one. I challenged myself to just use whatever was in arm’s reach of my desk, so I used a lot of stuff from my stash box for this card.
You know I love the layers so I used an embossing folder for my green layer and then went to down with some doily and flowers that I cut in half. I also have a layered sentiment die and then some gemstones, stickers and twine to finish it off.
How will you interpret this sketch? Come by the blog and show us!
This looks like a slimline but the DT has created some great examples of an A2 design with it and Raechelle has incorporated it into her layout, which is pretty cool!
I, myself, went the slimline route with this one.
I love this milkjug die that I’ve had in my stash for a bit. It’s fun to pull out and fill it with some awesome things. This time, I used some left over bits from a Simple Stories Simple Vintage Indigo Garden collection. I did some layout displays for the Scrapshotz booth at Creative Scrapbooker Carnival over the weekend and I knew I had a few bit left that would work for a card as well.
The DP is just from my stash but I love this color palette and I think it turned out well. Be sure to stop by the blog to see the DT and to play along with us this week.
I hope you had a lovely Easter holiday! Sadly on my end, although I was happy to head to my farm in Saskatchewan, we arrived back yesterday and realized that we all have Covid. It is not a fun time in this house! 😦
I had this Lawn Fawn cupcake die set that I had never used, and to be honest, I don’t know where I got it from. I did want to use it tough and so I paired it with some fun papers from my stash as well as a fun birthday sentiment. Of course, enamel dots right!
