Since we are heading into St. Patrick’s Day, I decided to dip into my green bin and came up with this little card. I used some scraps of green and I added some stickers. For the main sentiment, I put the sticker onto some black cardstock and then popped it up with pop dots.

Hey everyone, guess what? It’s my sketch choice up on the blog at Tuesday Morning Sketches today.
I picked this one, because it’s so simple and really, you can use just one piece of 6×6 double sided paper and some focal image or embellishment and voila, you are done. You could literally make this in 5 mins!
So this was my first card back in February of last year!
Here’s today’s for you!
So an interesting note. I created the second card first and then went back to find the first one for this post. I was surprised at how similar the two are! 🙂 I used one piece of 6×6 paper that was tucked in with a birthday card that I was given to make this card. I die cut some cardstock circles to match. The sentiment is just from my stash and the vellum leaves are Stampin Up. A few enamel dots and gems from my stash and this is ready to go!
Be sure to head to the blog for the rest of the DT showcases and I can’t wait to see what you create too!
Hiya! I hope you have been playing along with us at Tuesday Morning Sketches. We have another favorite for you. We are working with Melissa’s favorite this go round. This was one of my fave’s for the year as well.
So back in October when we introduced this challenge, this was my card.
Here’s my new one!
I pulled out my case with all my Valentine’s papers and embellishments and so I will be doing a lot with them this month. For this one, I am using a lot of pieces and papers from the Love Me Do collection from My Mind’s Eye…..go back to 2009! That’s how long it’s been sitting in my stash! Quite a different color palette from the first time I played with this sketch right! There’s a little bit of heart washi in there too.
I hope you like it, come along and play with us and as an added bonus, try and find something that you have had in your stash for quite a while and breathe some new life into it ok! Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you on the blog!
Here is today’s card, surprise! Made from another sampler!
I used papers and cut outs from the August 2020 sampler, which had product from Pink Paislee’s 5th & Monaco collection and the Kate and Ash collection from Simple Stories. The sentiment is from my stash and the enamel dots are Simple Stories.
I hope you like it, and be sure to come play along with us this week over on the blog. The DT has created some great projects for you to see!
So I’m jumping on the autumn/Christmas bandwagon here and created a fall themed card, even though I’m desperately trying to hold onto the last remnants of summer!
I started out with the paper. I received it in a swap and thought it was really nice and so I used that to inspire my card. I added a strip of gold glitter paper from my stash and then the tree is from a cricut die cut that I did awhile ago and sits in my fall box. The sentiment is from Taylored Expressions, and then some enamel dots from my stash to finish it off. I also added a layer of brown twine just for something extra.
Be sure to stop by the blog and check out the amazing projects from the rest of the DT and be sure to play along with us! We can’t wait to see what you create!
Oh boy! These days of summer are fading fast everyone. Soon it is going to be fall and my son will be going back to school. He’s less than thrilled, let me tell you!
This has a fun prompt for the background doesn’t it?
I’m sure a lot of you may feel the urge to do embossing for that background, or maybe a background die of some sort? I went for some stenciling. Using the Joseph’s Coat technique I created this fun background with a Stampin Up leafy stencil. I was trying to use some fall-ish colors for this card.
The sentiment is from Craft Addicts Too and I just got it in last week. The sequins are from my stash as is the ribbon.
Head on over to our blog to play along in this week’s sketch. While you are there, check out the amazing projects from the rest of the DT.
I decided to go with a different orientation for my card than the sketch! I’ve been playing with some new dies that I’ve had sitting on my desk for awhile. I believe the FRIEND is from one of my SCT samplers. The butterfly one I got recently and honestly, I thought it cut the butterflies out openly but I’m kinda glad it doesn’t. This gives you the option of leaving them closed or adjusting the wings a little bit.
The paper is just a plaid from Lawn Fawn and then the little iridescent confetti is Studio Katia. I decided to use some ribbon from my desk instead of the banner for the middle to anchor my sentiment. I’m loving this black embossed background and then these soft subtle colors.
Ok, now it’s your turn. Head over to the blog, play along with our challenge and be sure to check out the projects from the DT.
Hey everyone! Thanks for stopping by to see today’s Tuesday Morning Sketches sketch for this week.
Debbie created this little beauty
I actually put this card together at the farm last week with those limited supplies that I brought along, remember? Not too bad if I do say so myself.
The DP is from Crate Paper and is a 6×6 pack that I have been working through for awhile now. I already had the image in my die cut tin. I didn’t have any shaped die cuts so I had to cut the oval out by hand which is a bit rough but gives it some visual interest right? 🙂 All the die cuts I had in my tin so that was ok, but I didn’t have any ribbon or twine! So I managed to find some kite string in the trailer and used that!! I took a little bit and colored it with an ink pad for the brown bow, just to set it off a little bit.
I think this turned out really well considering what I had to work with..LOL. Now be sure to stop by the blog and see what the rest of the DT has created for you and as always, don’t forget to play along with us.
So I wanted to share this card with you from last week’s sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches. You can’t link up as our new sketch comes out tomorrow but I really like how this one turned out.
I was at my farm in Saskatchewan when I did my card for this, and I only took a few supplies….a tin of die cuts, a few 6×6 paper packs, a couple of SCT samplers, some inks, copics and a few stamps. The only thing was, I couldn’t upload to my blog from my phone. I had to email my projects in and then the team lead would post to the challenge blog. Unfortunately I couldn’t get mine to show up. So I figured now may as well work right?
That envelope through me off at first. I didn’t have any with me so I decided just to draw one free hand. Now if you decide to use this sketch for something, remember you could use any shape there really, or a tag!
I used one of my samplers for this DP and then added these flowers that you’ve seen me use quite a few times from my tin. I also added a small sentiment and some gold hearts. The envelope I just cut free hand from some pink cardstock. I think these were PinkFresh flowers and there are just so many and I’ve used them for so many projects and I still have some, so be prepared for them to show up again! 😉
