Debbie has designed this week’s sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches! This is a great sketch to dress up or down, depending on how creative you want to be!

I dressed mine up a little bit adding a few extra bits!

I was just using some bits and bobs from one of my SCT samplers that I had left over. I must say, it is a bit busy isn’t it? LOL

The DT has some really great options to show you, so make sure you stop by the blog and check them out! Really pretty! I love being a part of such a talented group of ladies! They inspire me every week!

We are excited to see what you come up with, so play along! Happy crafting everyone!

Here we go folks….new week, new sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches!

Great sketch right? I think this is one of my faves so far this year!

Here’s my card!

We all know I love Doodlebug! This is the Christmas Magic line from the 2019 December SCT sampler. I love the patterns in this. The stamp is just one that I had laying around. I hope you enjoy the card and don’t forget to skip on over the the TMS blog to see the rest of the DT creations!

Have a great day everyone!

Hello my pretties! Are you ready for this week’s sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches?? Pretty right?

I decided to go with a different orientation for my card than the sketch! I’ve been playing with some new dies that I’ve had sitting on my desk for awhile. I believe the FRIEND is from one of my SCT samplers. The butterfly one I got recently and honestly, I thought it cut the butterflies out openly but I’m kinda glad it doesn’t. This gives you the option of leaving them closed or adjusting the wings a little bit.

The paper is just a plaid from Lawn Fawn and then the little iridescent confetti is Studio Katia. I decided to use some ribbon from my desk instead of the banner for the middle to anchor my sentiment. I’m loving this black embossed background and then these soft subtle colors.

Ok, now it’s your turn. Head over to the blog, play along with our challenge and be sure to check out the projects from the DT.

Hello all!

I’m here with today’s sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches!

This is a great sketch if you like shaker cards or just doing an image on top of an image.

For my card I used a fun die set from LDRS Creative. I got this as part of my Crop & Create Cardmaking online class that I did this past weekend, hosted by Scrapbook & Cards Today magazine. We also were given a fun matching stamp set as well. I used some paper from my stash to go with this. The background under the sentiment was ink blended with a variety of inks from Stampin Up, Kraftin Kimmie and Lawn Fawn.

I also added a couple of clear Nuevo dots to it.

I hope you like it and don’t forget to head over to the blog to play along and also to see the rest of the great creations from the DT!

Yikes! Sorry this is late everyone! I didn’t even realize I had the date wrong in the scheduling.

You still have time to get in on this week’s sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches!

Patti is highlighting her favorite this week!

Here is my card from last year!

Looks like I was playing with some lawn fawn and a new rainbow die that I just got, I believe from an online card class!

This is my new one!

Yep, you guessed it! That’s Doodlebug right there….Using my December 2019 SCT sampler pieces!

Now head on over to the blog and see the great projects from the DT!

TMS # 639 Debbie’s Favorite

Another favorite sketch of mine is up on the Tuesday Morning Sketches blog! I think this is such a great one!

I used up the last little bit of my May SCT 2019 Sampler for this card. I only had a few bits of paper left (although a lot of embellishments). It’s the Kaleidoscope collection by Vicki Boutin for American Crafts.

It’s a pretty bold pattern on the right, so I paired it with a more subtle solid on the left. The flower is from the collection as are the leaves. I added a Paper Smooches sentiment and just a few bling from my stash.

A simple card, but perfect to say hello to a friend! Come on over to the blog and see how the rest of the DT made this sketch work this time around!

Last time, I did another Doodlebug card! With I’m sure some items from a Sampler! LOL

UYS/ Double Trouble Collaboration

Hi all!

We are a week early with the Use Your Stuff challenge as we are collaborating with Double Trouble Challenges as well! Our theme at Use Your Stuff is Fall/Autumn and it falls right in line with their challenges, so if you are entering ours, be sure to enter theirs too!

This is a card that I created as part of my Crop & Create Cardmaking weekend hosted by Scrapbook & Cards Today Magazine. The leaves and pumpkin are dies from Simon Says Stamp and I created them using some tear tape from ThermoWeb and some glitter. I covered the cardstock with the tear tap and then spread the glitter on it and then die cut! I can’t even remember the last time I used glitter. I used a leafy embossing folder from I believe Cuttlebug and then just some enamel dots from my stash. The THANKS sentiment die is a tried and true one from I believe Scrapbook.com and you have seen me use it many times before.

We hope to see you play along with both Use Your Stuff and Double Trouble for this challenge!

If you have been over to the Tuesday Morning Sketches blog, you will see that our new sketch is up for you to enjoy!

I really like this one.

Here is my card!

This is from the My Mind’s Eye Splendor Collection, a part of the February 2018 SCT sampler. I really love this collection. The sentiment was from an early sampler, and one that I use often.

I cut out some of the flowers from one of the sheets to use for my embellishment and then added some black Nuvo drops as well.

Be sure to stop by the blog and leave some love for the rest of the DT as well.

Thanks for stopping by today!

WCD 2017 Week 3

Here we are on week 3 from the 2017 World Cardmaking Day Online Class with Scrapbook & Cards Today Magazine.

I went with the inspiration from Cathy Zielske’s card for mine.

This was Cathy’s card

This is the one that I made

I used the Vicki Boutin Wildflower and Honey collection from my August 2017 SCT Sampler. I used a Mama Elephant sentiment on the focal point, which I cut out of a 3×4 card. I also added a little Nuvo drops .

I hope you like it! Thanks for stopping by!

WCD 2017

So I’m super behind on this class for World Cardmaking Day 2017 from Scrapbook & Cards Today Magazine.

I am determined to finish it this week! There are 6 cards to be made and I”m done 2! Woohoo

This is the second card. I chose to go with Nicole Nowasad’s example and tweaked it a little bit.

I used the Photoplay Paper O Canada collection. I have the paper pack, embellishments as well as the stamp/die set.

I stamped, cut and colored the beaver, the heart and the sentiment out, as well as die cut the maple leaves. This is a 4.25 x 4.25 card.

Entered into these challenges:

Simon Says Stamp: Add a Sentiment

Aud Sentiments Challenge: Anything goes with a Sentiment

Creative Fingers Challenge Blog: Anything Goes
