CCC : February

Hey, I’m here with your mid month reminder of our Christmas challenge for
February over at Christmas Craft Creations!

Blue and Silver are a great color combo for Christmas!

The paper is from my stash and it’s nice and soft. It’s hard to tell but that bottom strip is a gorgeous silver foil paper. It really sets it off nicely, and I matched it with the peace sentiment from stampin up in the same foil . A few little silver balls and voila!

Come by the blog, see what everyone has created and play along with us!

Winter’s Peace

Oh my gosh! Here we are in the last full week of October.  This year has just flown by, or maybe it’s just me….

I’m still working primarily on Christmas cards to prepare for my craft fair in November, so I have a lovely one to share with you today for the Cardz4Guyz challenge this week.  Our theme is Into the Woods – creating a project that has an aspect of the woods to it.  It could be a woodland creature, leaves, trees, rustic etc.  Lots of ideas to play around with.

I’ve had this die cut sitting on my desk waiting to be used for quite awhile now.  It was sent to me in a swap and I’ve been longing to use it up so I just decided that this was it.  I chose to go with a White on White card, probably because I rarely do them but they just look so good!

I paired the image with the falling snow enbossing folder from Stampin Up as well as the Christmas Thinlits PEACE which I cut out of some silver foil.  The bling is from my stash and then I went over the image with a bit of Wink of Stella for just a hint of shimmer.

I hope it makes you smile and I also hope that you will hop over to the blog to see what the rest of the DT has created and also to play along with us.  We would love to see what you are creating this week!

It’s Thursday

And that means a new challenge over at the AiFactory Challenge Blog.  This week, it’s Anything Goes with a Punch. Any kind of card you want to make as long as you use a punch or die cut in there somewhere.  Easy peasy right??  So the design team got to use this cute little set this week “Ella at Peace”,

which is perfect for coloring with your copics..isn’t she cute??  You can buy it at the store here.

Here’s my card

I used some of my Kiki-Art paper from the China line which can be found here.

So let’s see what you’ve got.  Remember to upload your project to the Challenge Blog by Wednesday June 9th at 10:30PM EST in order to win this awesome digital set and a chance to be a guest designer!  Remember, we’d love for you to use one of the AiFactory images if you have them but it’s not necessary to be eligible to win.  There are tonz of great Freebies here that would work for you so check them out. If you are uploading from an online gallery make sure you label your project with AiFactory #38 or AIF#38 so we can find it.  I look forward to seeing your great creations!
