YIKES! It has barely registered that we are already into April. Where the heck did March go???? As such, I am a bit behind with this post ! Our new challenge is up at Dragonfly Dreams and this month we are looking for your spring and/or Easter projects!
It is a perfect image for spring….the gardens will soon be starting to grow and fresh strawberries are so yummy!
I kept my card fairly simple so that I could highlight the image. I colored first in copics and then cut it out with my circle die. I then added a bit of Wink of Stella to the flowers and the strawberries.
My paper is just some Doodlebug Designs in dots and checks….I love these for backgrounds! I punched out a little heart for my tags and then the sentiment was from my stash. To finish it off, I added a few tiny bling from my stash to give it that little sparkle!
The rest of the DT have some great projects for you to check out on the blog!
It’s a great sketch for quick and easy cards that you can do in no time at all and with minimal supplies!
I did a Doodlebug class with Vicki Boutin last weekend for my Crop & Create event and I had some pieces left over. This card sketch is perfect for little bits! If you had one piece of double sided paper and some cardstock, a couple of embellishments and you could make a lovely card.
Grab what’s on your table, head over to the blog and show us what you can create!
Challenge # 53 is up over on the 2 Crafty Critters blog and this month we are being sponsored by Sheepski Designs!
Something a bit different this month. We’re partnering with Double Troubleand here’s a bit about their theme which runs from August 1 through August 19.Challenge #90
“Thing 1: Trouble Maker – says, “Cleo, my purr-ty furbaby, is excited that August 8th is International Cat Day. She’s “feline” that purr-haps it’s time for us to do something claw-some. Cleo wants to celebrate all of her fur-ends by creating a project that includes any baby animal, e.g. kitten, puppy, chick, elephant. She thinks this challenge is a paw-sibility, it’s purr-fect and will be pun for all.” You can paws here… OR … use Twisted Sister’s optional twist for an additional chance to our random draw.
Thing 2: Double Troublesays, “Is this fur real? Let’s paws… I think I need a cat-titude adjustment. As long as mew have included a cute or baby animal, do not fur-get to enter your project HERE at 2CraftyCritterCrazies. I’m sure they will also like to see your claw-some projects.” Don’t paws here but, check out Cleo’s ‘Mew and Your Paw-some Pet” additional Special Random Draw located after the Design Team’s inspirational projects.
Thing 3: Twisted Sister says, “Paw-don me, are you kitten me? This is hiss-terical! I am purr-ple with laughter. Let’s see if mew can come up with a pun for your baby animal or feel free to use one of ours. Have some pun with this optional twist. And you’re already entering at 2 Crafty Critter Crazies so pop on over to Double Trouble and enter their challenge, too. If it fits ours, it will fit their theme! 😀
I’m using the SheepSki Designs Image ” Dragons Fly”. I thought it would be fun because I don’t have any dragons!
Ya, you’re not seeing things. That’s some Echo Park and Doodlebug in there. Just when you thought it was gone! I colored the image with my copics and then cut them out and popped them up . I also added some Nuevo drops and some random word stickers I had.
Come play along with us this month. You have until August 25th to enter!
Greetings from Portreeve Saskatchewan! I’m at the farm this week for some R&R with my family! I do have this week’s sketch ready to go for you from Tuesday Morning Sketches!
Love this! ok, yep. Another Doodlebug Designs creation! 🙂 I promise I will have some different ones for you next week! 🙂
This one has lots of layers and that those little blocks on the bottom could be anything! The DT has some great ideas for this sketch so be sure to check them out on the blog!
Hey there! So it’s been a very long time since I’ve joined in on a challenge for Use Your Stuff but I hope to be doing more of them!
This week’s challenge is Summer fun….anything really to do with summer! I’m sure many of us are enjoying the sunny days right now.
I created a fun card for a summer birthday!
I got this fun new die from Crafty Addicts and I really wanted to use it! I cut it out just in black cardstock and then placed some of the squares back in. I then added some fun Doodlebug stickers. The plaid paper is my go to from Lawn Fawn! The sentiment is from one of my SCT stamp sets. I really like this die and I think I will be using it a lot.
Come on over to the UYS blog, see what the DT has created and please play along with us!
Hello Friends! Here we are in mid-July and I am getting ready to head to my farm for 10 days! Super excited to relax and do nothing but scrap or read! Maybe even catch up on some of my scrappy YouTube videos on my Save to Watch Later list!
Now I’ve still been playing with some bits and bobs of Doodlebug Designs that I have because it just makes me feel all summery and happy!
Now I really love pairing my Doodlebug with my Lawn Fawn! I think that both companies blend so well together as you can see here! I used some Doodlebug stickers as well as some Lawn Fawn & Doodlebug papers. The enamel hearts are from my stash but I wouldn’t be surprised if they were from one of these 2 companies.
I also used a sentiment stamp that is a favorite of mine and I received in a SCT sampler. I’ve used those stamps sooo many times.
I hope you enjoyed my card and the DT has really outdone themselves this time so be sure to stop by to see what they have to show you!
