I was in my die box and looking for one die when I came across this Spellbinders Build a Wreath die that I think I may have used 1 time several years ago and so I really wanted to give it another shot!
I just diecut the leaves out of a bunch of autumn colors and then just started building it up. Some I popped up using dimensionals and then added a few little enamel dots around. The grateful sentiment is from I think Scrapbook.com I believe the background paper is from Doodlebug and then I went over it with some ground espresso distress ink and distressed the edges.
C’mon over to the blog and join in this fun sketch with us!
The Design Team really had fun with this one and so did I….It’s been awhile since I’ve done a slimline card!
I used Doodlebug bits and pieces that I’ve had left over from the Spring Garden collection to do this card and the sentiment that I put in the middle is a die from Crafty Addicts. I cut it out 3x from card stock and then layered them one on top of the other so that it would give me a bit of dimension against the background. I just added a few enamel dots to finish it off.
Be sure to stop by the blog and give the rest of the DT some love and be sure to play along with us too!
Happy August my Dragonfly Dream fans! I’m here with this month’s fun challenge. It’s all about Summer!
Here is my card for you!
Yes, Yes, I know! We are looking at some more Doodlebug! We are almost done though! I used up a lot of scraps with this one. I love challenging myself to use scraps. I have such a hard time getting rid of anything, but I am doing better!
Be sure to stop by the Dragonfly Dreams blog and see what the rest of the Design Team has for you and to play along with us!
Hello one and all! Summer is in full swing right now and so is our new challenge at Use Your Stuff...our theme is Summer Fun!! Create a project that screams summer fun to you!
I created this fun card to celebrate a Summer birthday!~
I love pairing the Echo Park plaids and the Doodlebug stickers together as you can see and I also used a fun new die from Craft Addicts for all the squares. I replaced some of the missing black ones with the plaid paper to add some color.
So be sure to head to the blog and play along with us for our challenge!
Hey everyone! I’m really excited to be a new designer for the ‘There’s a Stamp for That’ Design Team! TASFT can be found on facebook and each month we have a fun challenge with 3 different aspects that you can add to your project.
I’m really excited to bring you my inspiration piece for this month’s challenge! You get a few different themes to choose from for challenge #23 (Frogs, Paper Piecing or Freshly Made Sketches #458–used with permission. ) I decided to go with the frogs, because well why not! Some of the frog stamps out there are adorable as I’m sure you have already seen so far!
My stamp is one of the free ones that you sometimes get when you buy the magazines from the UK or Australia! It came with a fun stamp set, a stencil and a die! I love this little guy. I paired him with some Doodlebug and Echo Park papers and some twine from my stash. I colored him with copics and added a little white gelly pen for some added interest. A few enamel dots and voila! good to go!
Head on over to Facebook, join the group and play along in our challenges! We can’t wait to see what inspires you!
Hey everyone! I’m here with this week’s challenge on Use Your Stuff!
This week we are going with a Spring/Easter theme.
I was recently at my farm for some much needed R&R and manage to take a few supplies with me to create some cards. Mainly a few SCT Samplers which are perfect! Some papers and embellishments, bring along some cardstock and you could make quite a few cards!
This one I created using the March 2019 SCT Sampler with my goodies from Doodlebug, which you all know is one of my favorite companies!
Sorry the picture is a bit off….I couldn’t do a reshoot as I have sent this out to a friend to well…brighten their day 🙂
I knew I wanted to create a card using that adorable flower Doodlepop! I stamped the sentiment from a SCT delivered stamp set that we received from the card crop that we did a couple of weeks ago! It has cute rainbows and clouds and then a few sentiments to match. It was designed by Becky Moore!
I stamped it with some Stampin Up Bermuda Bay ink. I’m trying to branch out from my usual black! A few drops of the iridescent Nuevo drops.
I hope you like it and be sure to stop by the Use Your Stuff blog to play along and to check out what the rest of the DT has created for you.
Working again with my SCT sampler from I believe July 2018 I created this fun card with some Doodlebug pieces and papers in the sampler.
These are just too darn cute! I believe the sentiment is from Stampin up which I embossed with white onto black and then added in some enamel dots and some die cut circles from my stash.
I hope you like it and please come over to the blog and play along with us!
It’s our first challenge of the new year at Tuesday Morning Sketches. For the next few weeks, each DT member will be highlighting a sketch that they particularly enjoyed over the last year.
Today we are working with Andreas!
Here’s my card!
I went with a 6×6 card for this one. The DP I think is Jillibean Soup. The flowers & leaves are Doodlebug. I added some vellum and a little birdie to go with the sentiment. I like the colors of this one. I hope you will swing by the blog and play along with us as we hit the year running!
Hey there! Thanks for stopping by! Here in Canada, we celebrated Thanksgiving yesterday , so for my fellow Canucks, I hope yours was great! I spent time with my family over the weekend which was nice.
Our new challenge is up at Tuesday Morning Sketches. It’s a fun one that can start off simple or be as ornate as you want!
Here’s mine for you!
I used some scrap pieces of fall paper that I had from doodle bug and I think Echo Park and I just added a die cut/stamped sentiment from Scrapbook.com. Also threw just a few sequins in to finish it off. I think I’ll send this one to my partner for the Splitcoaststampers Bakers dozen.
Come on over to the blog to see what the rest of the DT has created for you and please play along with us! We can’t wait to see how you see the sketch!
