Dragonfly Dreams: September

Yep. It’s here. September. Soon to be Autumn. Soon to be Pumpkin Spice Season. **sigh** I am not ready to let go of summer yet.

Our newest challenge is up at Dragonfly Dreams and our theme is Birthday!

We have a new sponsor with us for this one. A lovely designer out of the UK named Lauren Waterworth. I am using a stamp called Birthday Cupcake from her shop on craftsuprint.com

I’m not sure why I went with a Halloween theme for this card. I just had this idea in my head to do Halloween cupcakes!

I printed off three of the cupcakes and colored them with my copics. I then added some stickles & Nuevo Drop to look like sprinkles. I decided to go with a slimline so that I could have enough room for all 3 of my cupcakes. I think that this is an older Echo Park line. I added just a bit of black glimmer paper in behind and of course some enamel dots. I just printed the sentiment off on my computer and I still felt it needed something to give it more of that Halloween theme, so I went with some little silver spiderwebs.

Head on over to the blog…the Design Team has some really great projects for you to check out! Be sure to play along with us this month too!

TMS #653

Hello all!

I hope you had a lovely Easter holiday! Sadly on my end, although I was happy to head to my farm in Saskatchewan, we arrived back yesterday and realized that we all have Covid. It is not a fun time in this house! ūüė¶

What is fun though, is our new challenge at Tuesday Morning Sketches!

I had this Lawn Fawn cupcake die set that I had never used, and to be honest, I don’t know where I got it from. I did want to use it tough and so I paired it with some fun papers from my stash as well as a fun birthday sentiment. Of course, enamel dots right!

Be sure to head over to the blog to see what fun the rest of the DT has created for you and we hope that you will play along with our challenge this week.

Thanks for stopping by!

Ahh …what a great thought!¬† I’ve been sick for about a week now, so the thought of eating and drinking anything really doesn’t appeal to me…however, it’s a food and drink theme on the Sarah Hurley Challenge¬† blog this week, where as you know, I am this month’s guest designer!¬† So bring out your best creations and enter to win!¬† Go here to enter!

And Voila! here is this week’s card which I love.

I used some of Sarah’s cupcake DP for this one…I rarely use digital paper, but I totally thought that this was so cute!¬† She also has some matching sprinkle paper to go with it, so make sure you check out her store as well!
