UYS #492

Hi everyone!

I’ve got a card for this week’s challenge from Use Your Stuff. Our theme is borders. You can have top, bottom, side, decorative, plain….whatever tickles your fancy.

Just a simple card using some pieces of the CTMH Deck the Palms line. There are a few Christmas papers but for the most part, this line is great for tropical photos or such.

I used a sticker border from the kit as well as a decorative and plain border from cardstock. I kept this card pretty clean and simple. The sentiment is from Stampin Up and the enamel dots are from Echo Park with a couple of the flower stickers from the collection.

I hope you will play along with us and don’t forget to see what the rest of the Design Team has for you. Thanks for stopping by!

This is the lovely sketch that is up on the Tuesday Morning Sketches blog today for your inspiration and enjoyment! The DT has some great projects for you to see.

Here’s mine for you!

I had some CTMH paper hanging out in my box so I used that for todays creation. I added a Paper Hugs die that is in my stash and voila! This sketch is really great if you need to make a quick card!

Thanks for stopping by and don’t forget to hit the blog and leave some love for the rest of the DT!

TMS # 646

So ya. I’m behind. By like two days. That’s how long our sketch has already been up on the blog at Tuesday Morning Sketches. I don’t know how I missed this week! Ugh! Better late than never right!

This is one of the easiest sketches you are going to come across to use. You can make it as minimal or as detailed as you want. Perfect for leftover scraps of some embossed cardstock. Don’t want to use a circle? Try a star or an oval or really whatever shape you fancy.

This probably the last card that you are going to see with the July 2020 SCT Sampler because I am all done with it! I love this card. I think it turned out really well. I paired this with a sentiment stamp set from Hero Arts called Cheeky Birthday.

Come on over to the blog, you still have time to create with us!

Some new layouts

So here is a new layout that I’ve been working on for Riley’s baby book.  The baby blues one has no pictures because I can’t decide if I want to do the pages focusing on his blue eyes or the fact that he’s crying all the time..probably the crying since he seems to be doing so much of it lately…LOL
