We’re back with a new sketch on the TMS blog today! Check out the new one…..
I found this embossed panel first and I’ve had it for so long in my stash that I wanted to use it. I then went with some border stickers from Crate Paper’s Farm House collection. The sentiment is from a fun autumn sticker book by Carta Bella and the little owl is from Carta Bella as well. A simple but fun card.
Head on over to our blog and see the really great bird cards our team has for you this week and feel free to play along with us. What birds do you have to share???
We’ve got an easy sketch but a twist this go round is to add an animal to it!
I found a Simple Stories fall collection in one of my boxes and I thought that this little hedgehog was adorable. So I used some of the stickers from the sheet to go with it for that little blue border and the sentiment. I also added just a few enamel dots for a little bit of color.
Make sure you head to the blog to play along with us this week. Can’t wait to see what critters you have for us to see!
Hey ! Can you believe we are in Christmas week??? Holy hannah! Are you getting excited? I know I am.
We have a special challenge for you this go round.
ANNUAL ANYTHING GOES CHALLENGE!
With it being the last 2 weeks of the year, my amazing team uses this time for a much needed break to get themselves ready for the Christmas and New Year holidays, spend time with their families and recharge their creative batteries.
There are rules to this challenge, though…
1. Your project must be new, no back linking.
2. Your project must be PG rated.
3. It is anything goes, but must be crafty related. Feel free to share a crocheted/knitted project, other paper craft, mixed media, art journal, even planner pages you’re particularly proud of.
4. You may enter as many times as you’d like!We do have a prize, as usual. This year I’m giving a $25 gift certificate to Simon Says Stamp!
I’m sharing with you another card that I created during a Photoplay card class that I took recently. Firstly I love this line of paper and embellishments, and secondly I’m just amazed at how easy it is to put together a fun card using only paper, stickers and some dimension adhesive! We all know I love layers and these stickers and some embossing just makes for some great interest .
I hope you will stop by the blog to see what the rest of the DT has created. From my house to yours, Happy Holidays and all the best for the new year!
Hello! Today I bring you my final card as part of the Christmas Craft Creations Design Team. I have had such a wonderful time over the last couple of years being a part of this wonderful group of designers and I am going to miss them.
Our December challenge is in full swing and the theme is MAKE A SCENE! This is a fun challenge and so easy to do~
I did the PhotoPlay line Not a Creature was Stirring and as in yesterday’s post, it was so fun creating with just paper and stickers!
Looks like Santa was doing some holiday shopping in the city! The DT has some great projects to inspire you and so I hope you will stop by the blog and see what they have created and we can’t wait to see your own projects!
Hey everyone! I know it’s been awhile. It’s been really crazy at home and at work and so I’ve not done a lot of crafting lately.
I’m here today with my contribution to the Critter Crazy challenge for this month. As always our challenges are anything goes, as long as a critter is prominent.
For today I have a card that I made at a Photoplay Paper class I did not too long ago using the Not a Creature Was Stirring collection. How cute are these guys? This card is all layers and stickers and so much fun.
Be sure to stop by the blog and check out the rest of the great DT projects for you and we hop you play along too!
Hey there! So it’s been a very long time since I’ve joined in on a challenge for Use Your Stuff but I hope to be doing more of them!
This week’s challenge is Summer fun….anything really to do with summer! I’m sure many of us are enjoying the sunny days right now.
I created a fun card for a summer birthday!
I got this fun new die from Crafty Addicts and I really wanted to use it! I cut it out just in black cardstock and then placed some of the squares back in. I then added some fun Doodlebug stickers. The plaid paper is my go to from Lawn Fawn! The sentiment is from one of my SCT stamp sets. I really like this die and I think I will be using it a lot.
Come on over to the UYS blog, see what the DT has created and please play along with us!
Hello Friends! Here we are in mid-July and I am getting ready to head to my farm for 10 days! Super excited to relax and do nothing but scrap or read! Maybe even catch up on some of my scrappy YouTube videos on my Save to Watch Later list!
Now I’ve still been playing with some bits and bobs of Doodlebug Designs that I have because it just makes me feel all summery and happy!
Now I really love pairing my Doodlebug with my Lawn Fawn! I think that both companies blend so well together as you can see here! I used some Doodlebug stickers as well as some Lawn Fawn & Doodlebug papers. The enamel hearts are from my stash but I wouldn’t be surprised if they were from one of these 2 companies.
I also used a sentiment stamp that is a favorite of mine and I received in a SCT sampler. I’ve used those stamps sooo many times.
I hope you enjoyed my card and the DT has really outdone themselves this time so be sure to stop by to see what they have to show you!
Is that another sampler card? Yep, sure is! I really think it is a pretty one from Simple Stories …the Romance Collection. I was getting down to the nitty gritty by this card and so the turquoise DP is just from my stash. I loved the glittery aspect and it’s a bit thicker than the other paper, so I thought it added some great dimension. I added a cardstock strip border punched and then the stickers from the pack. I thought the butterflies looked so pretty with the flowers. I took and popped up one of the flower bouquets, again for some dimension and then just added some of the sequins from the pack are from CTMH and then the sentiment is from MFT. I actually cut it out three times and then layered them to raise it up a little bit.
