Welcome everyone to this month’s new challenge for 2 Old Bats Halloween Challenge. Can you believe we are in September already!
As always, our challenge is anything goes and each month we give you an inspiration piece to get you started.

Here’s what I created for you

I was really inspired by those skeleton heads! I was actually going to go black and white and then I decided to add a little gold in there just because. The image is from a Tim Holtz halloween collection that I have and I went over it with some distress ink. The paper is from recollections. I die cut a piece of gold foil paper and then did a bit of gold embossing for my sentiment. I really like how this turned out.
Be sure to stop by the blog and see the great creations that the rest of the DT has done and be sure to play along with us with your own Halloween inspired project!
I’m seeing lots of skulls for this challenge and they’re all pretty cool! I love how you added the gold to this. I never would have thought, but it looks fabulous for a Halloween card!
What fun this is for a Halloween card! A skull wearing a top hat, ready for the party! Fun papers with all the gold and a great design too!
Love, love the gold on your card, it’s not what you expect to see on a Halloween card but it adds so much WOW to your skull image. Beautiful pattern papers and, by the way, stamping this image on a book page makes it look scarier.
Stay healthy and safe.
XO
Awesome card, what a great image and design!
