TMS # 646

So ya. I’m behind. By like two days. That’s how long our sketch has already been up on the blog at Tuesday Morning Sketches. I don’t know how I missed this week! Ugh! Better late than never right!

This is one of the easiest sketches you are going to come across to use. You can make it as minimal or as detailed as you want. Perfect for leftover scraps of some embossed cardstock. Don’t want to use a circle? Try a star or an oval or really whatever shape you fancy.

This probably the last card that you are going to see with the July 2020 SCT Sampler because I am all done with it! I love this card. I think it turned out really well. I paired this with a sentiment stamp set from Hero Arts called Cheeky Birthday.

Come on over to the blog, you still have time to create with us!

2018 …that’s a wrap ( I think)

Ok so many of you know that I am a big fan of the Scrapbook and Cards Today Magazine SCT Samplers. Each month you get a little bit of happiness in an envelope with some of the latest and greatest from some of your favorite companies. Slowly but surely, I have been trying to work my way through. I first started in 2018 and here we are in 2021 …one each month, you can imagine how many are in my drawer!

I think I finally used up the last one from 2018! The August collection gave us treats from Pebbles -My Bright Life collection as well as Amy Tangerine’s Shine On Collection. It also had some Kelly Creates stamps, some AC rhinestones and an awesome slick writer from Scrapbook.com. As you can tell by these names, no slouches right?!

These are the cards that I created for a swap on Swap-Bot.com that I am doing and I paired it with this month’s sheetload of cards from Call Me Crafty Al. I added in some enamel dots from my stash as well a punch for some of the leafy bits.

I’ve added the links below to get this great sketch from Call me Crafty Al, as well as a link to the SCT Sampler both of which really you should look into! There is some amazing stuff in each month’s sunshine of happiness subscription and some of the very best sketches for mass producing cards to build your stash!

Thanks for stopping by!

I am doing the SCT Online Crop & Create Cardmaking event this weekend, so expect a lot of posts with some of the great projects we are doing!

Hey there! It’s a new challenge from our new DT member Beth on the Use Your Stuff blog!  Her challenge is to use your favorite punches on your project.

I have this heart punch that I bought at a garage sale years ago for like a dime!  It’s one of my favorites because it just adds a pop of color to a layout or card…just a little finishing touch.

Here is my layout for you this week.  I have been trying to use up the kits that I have and have been putting together and this one is made from the Yes, Please line from Amy Tangerine for American Crafts!  I love the colors in this line!

Be sure to stop by the blog and join in on the fun!
