It’s a Boy

Happy Friday! So happy it’s the weekend, even if I don’t really have anything planned.

Just sharing with you our new challenge at Creative Corner Challenges this week.  Our last one for February hosted by Tina.  Next month I will be hosting the challenges and offering some great weekly prizes so make sure you check in each week.

A super easy challenge this week, we just want to see some designer paper on your project.  It can be old, new, one or two.  Head over to the blog to link up and to see what the DT has for you this week.

Here is mine for you this week, a cute little baby card.

Since I am on a buying freeze right now, everything on this card is from my stash.  The paper is sooo old.  It is from Hot off The Press’s 8×8 baby kit.  The image was from a swap I did ages ago and the sentiment sticker I’ve had for ages.  It was fun to make a 5×5 card this time instead of my usual 4.25×5.5.  I hope you like it.

Entered into these challenges:

7 Kids College Fund: anything goes.

Party Time Tuesday: anything goes

Love to Create: Wrap it Up (twine, ribbon, string)

Robyn’s Fetish: Use Ribbon or Twine

Baby Love (crazy challenge DT)

Hey everyone! Spring is around the corner, I can just feel it, even if I can’t smell it with this nasty cold that just wants to linger!  Spring always makes me think of things new and reborn and that leads us into this week’s challenge at The Crazy’s BABIES.  This week we are using some cute images from The Digi Doodle Shop,

who is sponsoring this week’s challenge.  Make sure you check out the Challenge blog here for all the information and to enter the challenge.

Here is my card for this week!

I colored the image with my copics.  The little tag, clothespin, and buttons are from my stash.  The blue ribbon is from Savvy N Sassy and the purple from my stash as well.  The bling was given to me in a swap and the paper is from Hot off the Press, their 8×8 baby collection.  I hope you like it.

Some New Stuff

Here are some new layouts that I did when I went to the Okotoks Scrapbooking Charity Event for Rowan House.  It’s been awhile since I’ve done layouts.  I wasn’t even sure I remembered how..LOL

this first one is a lift from a Monday Nite Class Kit.  I didn’t actually have the kit, but I did have the paper so I had a picture of the layout and then just tweaked it a bit.  I have the journalling yet to do, as I’m not exactly sure what I want to write yet.

Next are a couple of Halloween Layouts that I did.  I love this pumpkin suit!!  Sorry about that flash thingy.  I really need to get the hang of that better.  I pretty much blurred off half of Neil’s face..LOL

Lil Punkin
Trick or Treat

This last one, I found the layout in a magazine, Scrapbooks Etc. I think and I really liked how simple it was, so I used it for one of Riley’s first pictures.

Brand New

Some new layouts

So here is a new layout that I’ve been working on for Riley’s baby book.  The baby blues one has no pictures because I can’t decide if I want to do the pages focusing on his blue eyes or the fact that he’s crying all the time..probably the crying since he seems to be doing so much of it lately…LOL
