Frosty Snowman

If you happened by the DigiHaven blog,  you will see that we have a new challenge for you.  It’s all about Pumpkins!  The DT have created some great projects for you this week using free pumpkin digis!

Here’s your challenge information for this week:

October 5th: This challenge is to use a FREE digi image that fits a “Pumpkin” theme.  If you have any questions on the challenge rules, please click the “how to play”  button on the blog. If you need help finding a free digital image, please click on the “free digis” button or click on our Design Team’s links to the FREE images they’ve used.  This challenge will end on October 18th.  Winners will be posted on this page on October 21st.

Here’s the card I have for you this week.

The digital image just reminded me of October here in Calgary.  We often have snow about now (we just had some a couple of days ago) and especially not uncommon to see it at Halloween.  So I thought it was appropriate.  It was already colored so I didn’t have to worry about that.  You can find my image here.  It also comes uncolored.

The DP is from MME and is called All Spice.  I am going to be using it for a few upcoming projects so you’ll be seeing a lot of it.  The ribbon is from American Crafts.  I had a whole bunch of it that I bought with lots of different patterns by season.  Lots of fun.  The pumpkins I have had for a really long time.  I got quite a few of them in a swap years ago and have never yet used them.  I ran my top note die through my embossing folder to give a bit of texture.

Entered into the following challenges:

Craft Us Crazy: Halloween or anything goes

Cute Card Thursday: lots of ribbon

Sarah Hurley: Autumn

Simply Create: anything goes

Crafty Creations: Colors of Fall

Waste Not Wednesday: always using something neglected or un-used

Barely Mine Challenges: Halloween

Party Time Tuesday: Frightfully Scary

Ribbon Carousel: Halloween (must use a spooled item as well)

Crafty Bloggers: Anything goes

Thanks for stopping by and happy crafting!
