TOBHC: November

November is here! Can you believe it!

Ok so today is our first full challenge over at Two Old Bats Halloween Challenge...our jump start challenge was such an overwhelming success we can’t wait to see what you create with a whole month to do so!

Look at our awesome November mood board!

Our theme is anything goes and we hope that you will use this mood board as a kick start to your project as you play along with us!

I was really inspired by the black, white and purple color scheme as well as the witch silhouette for my card.

I used some Tim Holtz distress oxides to create the background and then I had a Recollections stamp and die set for the images. A little scrap of DP and some twine as well as a sentiment from Tim Holtz and we are set to go. I love how this turned out.

Now head over to the blog to see how the rest of the team were inspired by the board and then we hope that you will play along with us!

The Wine

We are at the halfway point in our Pile it On challenge of Orange/Black/Purple.  In case you forgot, we are being sponsored by Ike’s Art this month.

For this week’s card I went with a bit of a fun Halloween card using the colors.  The image is from Miss Kate Cuttables and I flattened it in my cricut explore and then cut it out.  The sentiment was a free one that I got online from LoveSVGonline.com  They have sooo many free images that you can use, it’s crazy!

I added a bit of glossy accents and some wink of stella, just to give it some sparkle and shine.  I also thought it would be fun with some enamel dots.  The DP is just from my stash.  I hope you think it’s fun and don’t forget to play along with us!

Entered into these challenges:

As You Like It: CAS or Fun & Fancy (and why) – I always struggle with CAS cards as I like to add lots of layers and bits and bobs..this is a bit on the simpler side and still (I think) a fun card without all the frills and bits.

PPC #349

Hey everyone! It’s a Wicked Wednesday here, as I’ve got a fun Halloween card for this week’s challenge at Penny’s!

Our 2 great sponsors this week are

Sparkle & Sprinkle

3 digi images of winners choice

and also  Di’s Digi Stamps

 $12 gift certificate
Here is my fun halloween card using some pre-colored images from Sparkle & Sprinkle.  I decided to make a shaker card this time, since I had just bought some fun Halloween bits for the inside and it had been awhile since I had made one!

I fussy cut the witch and one of the bats and added it to the front of the shaker card.  The DP is just from my stash and I added a few dots with my Viva Pen.  The shaker mix I just bought at the dollar store and added a few purple sequins.

I hope you will stop by the blog and check out all the great projects the DT has created for you, and link up your own project this week.  As always our challenge is anything goes, so show us what you are working on this week!

It’s Halloween at AIF

This week’s challenge for the AIF challenge blog is a Halloween one!  Soon it will be here!  We got to work with some really cute halloween sentiments this time around and they can be found in the store here.  Better yet, enter this week’s challenge for a chance to win them all and a shot at being a Guest DT member in November!  You have until Wednesday November 3,  11:59EST to upload a card or project and then a winner will be drawn randomly.  If you use an AIF image, you get double entries in to win.  Make sure you check out the freebies here (there’s even a haunted house perfect for this challenge).

So here is my card for this week!

I just used basically a bunch of left over bits and bobs from other Halloween cards that I have made over the last few weeks.  The trick or treat sentiment is one of the ones from AIF’s Haunted Tags and Frames collection that we are using this week.  I ran it through my spiderweb cuttlebug folder.  I added a vintage pic that I found on the internet as well as some ribbon, felt spider and stickers that were all used on different projects!  I hope you like the card!  Don’t forget to check out the other DT blogs (which can be found by clicking on their names on the challenge blog) and see what they’ve created this week!

Happy Halloween!
