TMS #576

Hey there! Thanks for stopping by! Here in Canada, we celebrated Thanksgiving yesterday , so for my fellow Canucks, I hope yours was great! I spent time with my family over the weekend which was nice.

Our new challenge is up at Tuesday Morning Sketches. It’s a fun one that can start off simple or be as ornate as you want!

Here’s mine for you!

I used some scrap pieces of fall paper that I had from doodle bug and I think Echo Park and I just added a die cut/stamped sentiment from Scrapbook.com. Also threw just a few sequins in to finish it off. I think I’ll send this one to my partner for the Splitcoaststampers Bakers dozen.

Come on over to the blog to see what the rest of the DT has created for you and please play along with us! We can’t wait to see how you see the sketch!

Grateful for You

Happy Monday! It’s the long weekend where I am here in Canada…our last long weekend of summer 😦 Hard to believe we are heading into fall now .

With that in mind, my project for the Use Your Stuff FARM ANIMALS challenge this week has an autumn feel to it.

I picked out some scraps from my basket that had that autumn feel…I think some Simple Stories and my very last piece of the Doodlebug vellum. I also took some green cardstock to town with my Stampin Up fringe scissors to make some grass. The images were sent to me in a swap but I do believe they are Stampin Up and I just did some simple coloring with my copics and then cut them out to make a bit of a scene. The stamp is one I love that I got in a SCT sampler and it is from Scrapbook.com . The grateful has a matching die and I colored some Lawn Fawn walnut on a piece of white cardstock and then die cut it because I wanted a nice dark brown color to stand out. The red enamel dots bring in the red from the leaves and the apples and voila…

I hope you will stop by the Use Your Stuff blog and play along with our challenge this week. We have a couple of Guest Designers to share with you and everyone has some really great projects to inspire you!

Thanks for popping by!
