TMS #637 Anything Goes!

Hey ! Can you believe we are in Christmas week??? Holy hannah! Are you getting excited? I know I am.

We have a special challenge for you this go round.

With it being the last 2 weeks of the year, my amazing team uses this time for a much needed break to get themselves ready for the Christmas and New Year holidays, spend time with their families and recharge their creative batteries.

There are rules to this challenge, though…

1.  Your project must be new, no back linking.

2.  Your project must be PG rated.

3.  It is anything goes, but must be crafty related.  Feel free to share a crocheted/knitted project, other paper craft, mixed media, art journal, even planner pages you’re particularly proud of.

4.  You may enter as many times as you’d like!We do have a prize, as usual.  This year I’m giving a $25 gift certificate to Simon Says Stamp!

I’m sharing with you another card that I created during a Photoplay card class that I took recently. Firstly I love this line of paper and embellishments, and secondly I’m just amazed at how easy it is to put together a fun card using only paper, stickers and some dimension adhesive! We all know I love layers and these stickers and some embossing just makes for some great interest .

I hope you will stop by the blog to see what the rest of the DT has created. From my house to yours, Happy Holidays and all the best for the new year!

CCC: December

Hello! Today I bring you my final card as part of the Christmas Craft Creations Design Team. I have had such a wonderful time over the last couple of years being a part of this wonderful group of designers and I am going to miss them.

Our December challenge is in full swing and the theme is MAKE A SCENE! This is a fun challenge and so easy to do~

I did the PhotoPlay line Not a Creature was Stirring and as in yesterday’s post, it was so fun creating with just paper and stickers!

Looks like Santa was doing some holiday shopping in the city! The DT has some great projects to inspire you and so I hope you will stop by the blog and see what they have created and we can’t wait to see your own projects!

Merry Christmas everyone!

Critter Crazy #57

Hey everyone! I know it’s been awhile. It’s been really crazy at home and at work and so I’ve not done a lot of crafting lately.

I’m here today with my contribution to the Critter Crazy challenge for this month. As always our challenges are anything goes, as long as a critter is prominent.

For today I have a card that I made at a Photoplay Paper class I did not too long ago using the Not a Creature Was Stirring collection. How cute are these guys? This card is all layers and stickers and so much fun.

Be sure to stop by the blog and check out the rest of the great DT projects for you and we hop you play along too!

Crop & Create Delivered Online

This weekend I am doing the Scrapbook & Cards Today Magazine’s Crop & Create Delivered Card Class. It’s 3 days of classes led by some amazing talent in the industry, learning new techniques, play with new products and just having fun.

The first card we did today, is from Becky Moore using an exclusive stamp/die set from Photoplay Paper’s Say it With Stamps.

For this class we created our own stencil using the die cut as a template and then using some inks (I used Stamp Market Peachy and Mossy and Gathered Twigs distress ink). The sequins are from Neat & Tangled Festive Fall mi.

C’mon back tomorrow for a bunch more examples of our cards for this weekend!

CCCB: October

Welcome one and all! Today is our new monthly challenge for Critter Crazy Challenges which is the new name for 2 Crafty Critters!

As always, our challenges are always anything goes, as long as there is a critter prominent in the project!

Here’s a look at my project!

I really love this O Canada paper from Photoplay Paper, so any chance I get to use it I will. 🙂 It’s a simple design and I cut the moose out from the cover paper! I really liked the look of him. The glitter enamel dots are just from my stash.

I hope you like it and don’t forget to head over to the blog to play along and to see the great inspiration from the rest of the DT!.

Allison Davis 6×6 Paper Class

So I’ve done up to week 6 of Allison Davis’ 6×6 Paper Class, which for me is pretty significant. LOL Going by past experience, I’ve bought lots of classes and not even started them yet.

Here is week #4

I did this while vacationing at the farm, so I think that this is using one of my samplers. I’m not sure which one it was. I didn’t have a lot of embellishments with this one left so I like to cut out parts of the papers to use as embellies.

Week #5

This is week #5 using the O Canada collection from Photoplay Paper. Now for this one, I decided to use full sheets of paper and cut them down to the 6×6 size because I really wanted to use this paper line for these pictures. I used embellishments from the collection on this and some of my own mini alphas and thickers.

And finally sketch #6

I like this sketch and it is using the February SCT sampler from 2018 and the My Mind’s Eye Splendor Collection and probably some of the Color Fresh collection from Heidi Swapp in the same sampler.

I love these samplers, and look, you can do some great layouts with just the few pieces that you get in the sampler. I added some of my own embellishments and my own thickers, but I am a big fan of using some of the papers to cut out the images and use them as embellishments as well.

TMS #618

It’s Tuesday folks, and that means another sketch is up on the Tuesday Morning Sketches blog. A great one to use this time! Simple, but yet so much you can do with it.

No Doodlebug today here everyone! I went with some Photoplay Paper O’Canada this go round.

This is just a really fun line with lots of Canadian icons like my moose here 🙂 Be sure to drop by the blog and see what the DT has created for you and don’t forget to play along with us!

TMS #605

Hello you! Here I am with this week’s new sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches!

This is what I created! I bet you thought it was going to be another rainbow card didn’t you!

I started with that 3×4 journalling card as the inspiration for my card. I added two more card cut down to balance it out and then the coffee are from Stampin Up. I added a few sequins and some background paper from Photoplay Paper. I really love the colors on this!

C’mon over to the Tuesday Morning Sketches blog and play along with us! Check out what the rest of the DT has put together for you as well.

Hey everyone! Here is it, our last sketch for the year for the Tuesday Morning Sketches blog!

It has some great components and easily switches rotation depending on what you want to do with it!

I got a new Gnome stamp and die set from Craft Addicts which I paired with some paper from PhotoPlay’s Frosty Friend’s collection. It’s so fun and lots of great colors.

The Design Team has some really awesome projects for you this week so be sure to stop by!

A Merry Layout

It is an Anything But A Card challenge this month on the Christmas Craft Creations blog!

The design team has created some fabulous projects and I have a layout for you!

This layout is a crop picture that my girlfriends and I went to last year! The theme of the crop was Christmas! If I’m thinking correctly the majority of this layout was done using the PhotoPlay Paper Christmas line called O Canada Christmas from 2018 …It has some fun papers and icons..I love the moose.

I also used a few items from my stash. It’s just a really fun page!

I hope that you will create your own Christmas project this month and share it with us on the site!
