It’s Magical

Hi everyone! I hope you had a great weekend!  It’s Monday so I have another challenge for you as the Guest Designer over at Craft Your PassionThis week the theme is ‘It’s Magical’.  So we would like to see your creations of magical things, fairies, dragons, cupids, angels, anything that has a magical aspect to it!  All of the challenge details, including the link for your project and prize information can be found here.

For my card, I was given an image from CocoDingo.

The image is colored with Copics and I added a bit of stickles to the wings for some texture and sparkle.  the DP is from my stash and I added a bit of paper punching to it.  The rikrak is SavvynSassy.  The jute is from the $$ store and the button I received as part of a swap.  I finished the sentiment with some tiny type letters.  I hope you like this and don’t forget to enter your own card/project into the CYP challenge.

I’ve entered this into the following challenges:

Rockin and a Rollin with AiFactory

Amazing how Thursdays just creep up on you isn’t it, but it’s a good thing because that means it’s only one more day until the weekend!  This week’s challenge is Shape it Up..we want to see a card or project that isn’t in the traditional square/rectangle shape.  Hearts, circles, stars, birdhouses..whatever you can come up with, we want to see it.  The DT is featuring this cute little set called Future Rock Star! Love her!  As always with the challenge, we would love for you to use an AiFactory image but if you dont’ have any, so not a problem.  Check out our freebie section and pick one up.  You have to upload your project to the AiFactory Blog by Wednesday June 30 10:30pm EST to be eligible to win this set and a chance to be a guest designer with us.  If you are uploading to an online gallery make sure that you label your card/project with AiF#41 so we can find it easily.

Here is my card this week…I chose to do a circle shape.  I cut it out with my Wild Card Cartridge at 5.5″.  It’s kind of hard to tell but I printed out the stars, colored them with my copics and then added a few layers of UTEE to make them a little thicker and to stand out a bit more.  I printed the sentiment on the computer using one of the 100’s of fonts that I found for free on the internet. Using my Cuttlebug and Nestabilities, I cut her out, colored with Copics and then inked her up.  I just fed the ribbon through the scallop holes.  I hope you like the card and I hope that you will participate in this week’s challenge.  I can’t wait to see what you do!

Supplies:
