I LOVE creating cards for obscure holidays! I find it fun to challenge myself to create a card that fits with the day….
Well, today is Vanilla Ice Cream Day and well guess what! It’s an ice cream card for you!
I was at the farm for the last week on vacation so I brought a few supplies with me, including the bits and bobs I had left over from this huge American Crafts Dear Lizzy Neapolitan kit that I won years ago….yes, I’m still trying to use it up and I’m almost there..
I really just took some of the DP and then some of the rub ons to make the card. Nothing fancy. The ice cream was actually on the back side of one of the papers …it had a bunch of cut aparts and so it was perfect for this card!
Been to the Red Carpet Studio blog yet? You might get hungry if you do! Our challenge this week is Food! We are basing our theme this go round on the movie Julie & Julia!
I did a wedding layout this week. This was our wedding cake. I had originally wanted it to be blue & green, our colors but Neil disagreed. So, we went with an all white cake and decorated the table instead. It turned out great and the cake was delish!!!!
I hope you will join our challenge this week as we have a prize sponsored by Jack Bear Stamps which is pretty darn cool!

I hope you like it. The DP is Kaiser and the ribbon is from SavvynSassy. The alphas are Glitz. Enjoy.
Hey there..I know it seems like I only do cards but I do in fact throw in a couple layouts here and there..LOL
Here are a couple that I did for Challenge Masters! They are doing a Project Scrapbook Contest right now, so each week we have to create a new layout according to the perameters. Week 1 it was creating a layout using only party supplies, no patterened paper or cardstock, etc…I think mine turned out pretty well
Week 2 which we just finished was a theme about food, but something other than the traditional holidays that always get scrapped. So I scrapped about the first time that Riley ate real food…
Challenge Masters has lots of great challenges hosted by the Challenge Diva’s. There are new ones each week so please make sure you stop by. The new Week Two Challenges were just posted!
