Birthday Blast!

Hey everyone! I am back from our annual trip to Cuba properly tanned and hating the snowy, cold Calgary weather.  It was a great trip where I even had the chance to try some new foods in the forms of turtle and water buffalo.  Both were outstanding!

It’s Thursday today so we have a new batch of inspiration for you at Digital Delights this week.  My image for you today is Birthday Pippin  paired with the Birthday Sentiments set.  I just think he is so cute!  I am using the precolored image but he is available uncolored as well.

I used my Hot off the Press 8×8 Birthday set that I have had for several years and paired it with some bling in my stash and cut out a flourish from a sizzix die.  A simple card but I think it is just adorable.

Digital Delights Feburary Release

Here it is folks!  Digital Delights have released their new February images and they are just so cute and just in time for Valentine’s day!

I am using the cute Barnaby Bee and the Love is in the Air Sentiments today.

 

The DP is from Scrapworks and was some I just had in my stash.  I added some red polka dot ribbon from my stash as well and my SEW EASY ink stitcher.  I also used my Spellbinders and Stampin Up dies.  I dressed up Barnaby with some stickles and the hearts are from my stash.  He was colored with my Copics.  I hope you like him and drop by the blog and see the rest of the new releases highlighted by the DT today!

Gingerbread Christmas

Hi everyone! I am late in getting this post up.  My days are just blending together as I prepare for the holidays.

We have some new inspiration pieces for you on the Digital Delights blog today.  Lots of wonderful projects for you to enjoy.  My card for you today is highlighting Gingerbread Slippy who is just the cutest character ever!!!

 

I am using the pre-colored image but he does come in black and white as well.  He is paired with the Gingerbread  Hugs Sentiment as well.  The DP is from my stash so I’m not sure who it is by and then I added some ribbon I received in a swap.  I didn’t want to make this too complicated because I didn’t want to distract from the image.  I hope you like it and don’t forget to swing by the blog and see what the other designers have for you today!  This is our last post until the New Year so that the team can spend time with their families over the holidays.

Snowbuddy

It’s Thursday! One day closer to the weekend and one day closer to Christmas!

We have a new bunch of inspiration projects for you today on the Digital Delights blog.  The DT really did a great job this week….like they do every week.

Today I am highlighting Snow buddy which is a really cute image.  I am using the colored image for today’s card and pairing it with the A Touch of Christmas Sentiments.  I hope you like it.

Digital Delights December Release

Hello everyone! Today is the day that Wendy has released the new designs for December.  Oh are they ever fun!

I am highlighting Donita and Tree!

Here is the card I created for you.

the DP is from DCWV the Christmas Stack.  I did some paper piecing for her dress and bows.  The sentiment is from A Touch of Christmas sentiments.  I added some snowflake embellies from Walmart.  The flourishes are a sizzix die.  I added a little bit of bling and a little ribbon.  I hope you like it.  Make sure you stop by the blog and check out the rest of the great projects from the DT.

Happy Thursday! Everyone in my house is finally starting to feel better.  Woohoo.

which I paired with the Magical Winter Sentiments.  

I think this is just an adorable image.

Autumn Blessings

Happy Thursday everyone!  I have a new card for you for Delightful Thursdays!   Make sure you head over to the Digital Delights blog to check out what the DT has for you today.  Delightful challenges is also having a Giving Thanks challenge this weeks so don’t forget to enter as well.

I used one of Wendy’s colored images for you this week.  It’s the Fall House image which I thought was really pretty.  I then paired it with the fall sentiments.

 

 

 

 

With the image I used some paper from Basic Grey.  I inked it with some Tim Holtz Ranger Ink in spiced marmalade.  I used a border punch as well as a Sizzix flourish die.  The sentiment is cut out with a Stampin up Punch.  I also added some ribbon and bling from my stash as well.  The big leaf is from Walmart.

Candy Cane Christmas

Hello everyone!

I am a little late in getting this post out to you.  It’s another digital inspiration day at Digital Delights today. Make sure you stop by to see all the great projects this week, using the wonderful images that Wendy has for you in the store.

Today I am highlighting the Candy Cane frames set.  I chose to use the already colored ones but you can buy the ones you can color yourself.

I paired it up with the Magical Winter Sentiments set as well.

I used The Christmas Stack by DCWV and then just added a few things from my stash like bling, and ribbon.  I cut out the image with my spellbinders.  I love the precolored images because they are so easy to work with.  I can print out a bunch and then be able to mass produce cards.  I hope you enjoy the card.

 

 

A gift for you- A digital delights release

It’s a new release day at Digital Delights today and oh are these ever cute~!

Lots of great images to choose from for the holiday season as you get ready to make those Christmas cards!  This time around, I decided to change it up and I made this cute little tag using Nutcracker Kiddles.     He is available colored on non depending on your preference.  I also used the Magical Winter sentiments for this one.

The tag is just from Staples and I went over it with some of my Tim Holtz distress ink.  I used a little bit of DP from Echo Park from some previous projects and a couple of different dies–Stampin Up & Sizzix.  I also used my sizzix embossing folder.  The ribbon, button and pearls are all from my stash.  I hope you like it and don’t forget to stop by the blog for some more great inspiration using these fun new images.  You can also stop by the Delightful Challenges blog and get in on the latest challenge as well.

Spooky

Can you believe it is only a week until Hallowe’en!  I have a fun card for you today for the Digital Delights inspiration post.  Every Thursday we have some fun inspiration pieces for you using a variety of images from the Digtial Delights store.  Here is my card using the Spooky Pumpkin.  It is available in either black & white or colored.

I paired it with the Ghoulish Sentiments set as well.

 

I just used some scrap pieces of Hallowe’en paper for this card.  I got the ribbon in a swap awhile a go.  The bling is from my stash and the image was colored with Copics.  I added some Ranger ink around the edges.  I hope you like it and don’t forget to visit the blog to see the rest of the great projects this week.
