A coffee lover’s birthday

**if you are looking for the UYS blog hop click here**

Happy Friday all! Can you believe we are already into June…the year is 1/2 over already! It just seems to sneak in there!

Ok..so…..another fun challenge over at Brown Sugar Challenges….

our theme this week is CELEBRATIONS!

No doubt there is lots to celebrate in June…weddings, graduations, babies, birthdays…last day of school! woohoo!

Our sponsor this week is Bugaboo Stamps!  and our winner this week will receive 4 digital stamps! Sweet!

My card this week is for a friend who is a big coffee lover!  I thought it would be fun to make a coffee themed birthday card using JJ Coffee to Go.  I used the image for my card but it also comes with a sentiment as well.

I used some DP scraps that I had been working with for some previous projects and I stamped the cardstock using a couple of Stampin Up stamps (gorgeous grunge & timeless textures).  The sentiment I just printed out on my computer.  I added a few sequins from my stash, a star punch and the hat I stamped from another birthday stamp set (sorry can’t remember the name now!) and cut out.  I colored JJ just with my copics and then die cut her with my favorite CC designs oval die.

I hope you like the card and be sure to stop by the blog so you can see what the other DT ladies have created for you and to play along! Can’t wait to see what you create!

Here is the card I created using a fun summer image from Bugaboo!

How fun is this guy!  I paired him up with the Summer Fun collection from Fancy pants that I have been trying to use up, so it worked perfectly!  I colored him with my copics and then cut him out.  It’s really hard to tell from the picture but his cool shades and his floaty both have some glossy accents!

I hope you will come play along with our Anything Goes challenge on the Penny’s Paper-Crafty Challenge blog.  The other DT members have some more fun projects to inspire you!

Animal Antics

Happy Friday.  If you are looking for the AIF blog hop please scroll below.

It’s a new challenge at the Poodles Parlour this week. It’s all about the Animal Antics.    Bugaboo

is our great sponsor this week and they gave us the cutest images to work with!  I made this adorable baby card for my DT inspiration this week….

After coloring the image with my copics, I inked around it while in the nestiblility.  The paper and little sentiment is from a Hot Off the Press baby 8×8 pack that I have had forever.  The buttons and the twine from my stash as was the bling.  I received the butterfly in a swap ages ago and am glad I was finally able to use it! A little bit of border punching and voila! I hope you like it.  Please stop by the Poodles Parlour blog to link up your own project for this week’s challenge and for all the details on how you can win from our great sponsor Bugaboo!

I’ve entered into the following challenges:

Cute Card Thursday: A Pinch and a Punch (use at least 1 punch)

Little Red Wagon: Border Punches

Your Next Stamp: Inspired by a Song (Baby of Mine)

The Crazy Challenge :New

Happy Grandparent’s Day!

So I was kindly asked to be a guest designer at Creative Craft World challenge blog and I was so excited!  This week’s great challenge is being sponsored by Bugaboo! Love Bugaboo!

Bugaboo has graciously offered a prize of 7 digtial stamps to the winner! Who wouldn’t love that!

This week’s theme is grandparents! I think that this is the first time I have come across this in a challenge so it was really great to make something! I decided to make a card that my son could give to his grandparents.  A big thank you to Paul Ford from Bugaboo for his great tutorial on this tent card.  It was sooo simple, and he also used the same image that I had been given for this challenge.

Here’s what I created

I am really happy with how this turned out!  The paper came to me in a paper swap from Swap-Bot.  I created this card around the paper– I was drawn to it right off of the bat.  The image was colored with my copics  and then chalked for a bit more dimension and the ribbon is SavvynSassy.  I printed out the sentiment and the poem from the internet and the bling was just from my stash! I hope you like it and don’t forget to play along with the challenge this week!

Bugaboo Challenge Card with Kiki-Art

So here is the first card that I made with my Kiki-Art product.  This line is called Water Rain and it fits perfectly with the challenge this week on Bugaboo which is April showers.  The Water Rain line can be found here and the challenge here
