Ok, so for something different, I went with an ATC for this week’s challenge on the Brown Sugar Blog! It’s an anything goes theme which was perfect! I haven’t made any ATC’s in awhile and I really thought that this image would really work well with one.
Our sponsor for this week’s challenge is Oddball Art Co
My image is called Day Dreams
I just used some bits and pieces from some Simple Stories paper that I had left over and put it on an ATC back. The stars I just punched out and the sentiment is from Tim Holtz. I colored the image the image with copics and added just a bit of bling.
Don’t forget to stop by the Brown Sugar Blog this week to link up with us – its anything goes remember! and to see what the rest of the DT has created this week!
I’ve got another couple ATC’s made for a challenge on Swap-bot.com. The themes are Valentine’s Pink and Thank you. I decided to create them with the new challenge at Use Your Stuff in mind. Our challenge is to use Paint. I don’t actually have a lot of paint but I did manage to find a few.
For the Thank you one, I used paint to color the bird and on the Valentine’s day one, I used some crackle paint on the heart as well as some white paint around the edges of the ATC which is a bit hard to see. I hope you like them and don’t forget to play along this week on the blog.
Snow. We still have it and want it to go away! We are hopefully **fingers crossed** going to have some better weather here this weekend.
Our challenge at Creative Corner Challenge this week is April Showers bring May Flowers. We would like to see projects with flowers, water, rain, anything along those lines.
I have been creating a lot of ATC’s lately for some Swap-bot challenges. So I decided to do one that would work with our challenge this week as well.
To create this ATC I used a book page that was sent to me in a swap. I inked it with some distress ink and then stamped the flower (Stampin Up) over top. I added a sticker that I had in my stash and washed it all down with some Modge Podge. I then added a little bit of twine to finish it off. I hope you like it.
Be sure to stop by the blog and play along with us.
Sorry for the late posting everyone. Dealing with some health issues in my family this weekend and it has been really stressful.
We’ve got a new challenge up at Use It Tuesday this week. Our theme is Critters/Ceatures! Whether its for a special season, or just anyday we want to see those cute little creatures that you have.
I did a fun ATC for my project this week and I just love how it turned out.
All the bits and bobs were just scraps on my desk. I added a bit of glossy accents to to the bird to give it a bit more texture. I hope you like it and please stop by the blog to see our DT’s great projects and to play along this week.
I just realized it is Friday the 13th today….surprisingly, it is a good day and not a bad one. I’m excited to announce that I will be the Guest DT for 4 Crafty Chicks for the month of December!
Quite excited about that and looking forward to creating with their awesomely talented DT!
Today is our new challenge at Creative Corner Challenges…we’ve got a new DT coming up and some minor changes so watch for a posting about that.
Our theme this week is Autumn Leaves are Falling….I am not looking forward to fall in as much as it means that summer is over. The leaves have already started falling from the trees here. Our winters are always so long so I am sad about this.
I created an ATC for this challenge as I had to do it for a swap-bot swap as well. I do apologize for the picture though. It’s not that great. I’ve already mailed out the ATC so I can’t redo the pic so I do hope you will forgive me.
The DP is just from my stash. I’ve had this leaf FOREVER. It is in a chipboard set and so I spritzed it with my Clearsnap spritzes and then I stamped over it with a sentiment stamp from Pink Paislee’s Amber Road stamp set. I also had some little i-rock blings that I used as well. I also have these cute little leaf punches and I just did a few in some autumn colors to add a little tail to the atc. I hope you like it and please stop by the blog and join in on this week’s challenge.

Hello everyone! It’s Friday yet again, which means we have a new challenge at Creative Corner Challenges this week. We are excited to be sponsored by Rick St. Dennis this week.
Our challenge is a simple anything goes for this week and you have the chance to win 3 digis from Rick’s Store. This week I am playing with 2 of his images, the first one is called Snoozy Elf
I just really thought he was so cute! I used some DP from the 12 Days of Christmas line from MME. I colored with my copics and I added some bling. I thought it would be fun to give the little jingle bells some added shine so I went over them with my glossy accents!
The next image is called Waltz. I thought she was very dainty and classy and for some reason, she inspired me to make an ATC. I haven’t done one of these in a very long time. I just used a bunch of little things that were already on my desk
I used my TH inks for this one. I colored her with my copics and then went over her with some modge podge. I inked the ATC card and then went over it with my french script stamp. I then added some ripped up paper that was sent to me in a swap. The sentiment was one that was sent to me in a different swap. i had that little rose in a bucket from…somewhere and then some little seed pearls. I then went over everything with modge podge and a finally spray with some spritz for a bit of glistening shine! I really like how she turned out.
I hope you will stop by the blog to see the other DT creations , including some from Rick’s DT who are joining us this week! There is some great mojo flowing on that page!
Happy Crafting everyone!
