TMS # 621

Hey everyone. Happy Tuesday. Head on over to the Tuesday Morning Sketches Blog and see our new sketch and the DT inspiration for you!

This is a great sketch if you need a quick and simple card and yet has the option to really embellish it up if you want to.

I used the last of my Splendor collection by My Mind’s Eye. I just really love this stuff! Rather than splitting the paper and using to separate ones as the sketch shows, I decided to just keep it as one, and then I added my ribbon and bow to separate them. The HUGS die I’ve used before and it is one of my favorites and I believe it came in my last online class with SCT Magazine. Then I just added some sequins and a little fishtailed piece to complete.

Be sure to stop by our blog and see the great designs the rest of the DT has made with this awesome sketch!

I am so stoked!

I have some amazing news to share! I am so super excited that the lovely folks over at Simon Says Stamp have chosen me to be a part of this year’s Stamptember event!

If you are not yet familiar with it, let me tell you a little teaser. Artists from all over the globe are gathering to showcase inspiration using Simon exclusive STAMPtember® release products from so many of your favorite brands!

There will be inspiration galore, exclusive products just for this event, tutorials, special codes for discounts and so, so much more. It’s a month long party and who doesn’t love that!

I cannot wait to see what special set I get to play with for this event and hopefully bring you a little inspiration. In the mean time, head on over to the SSS store and blog and see how they are prepping for the big event!

Happy day to you everyone! This is this week’s sketch for Tuesday Morning Sketches.

I struggled a little bit with this one, and I then I remembered that a sketch is just a jumping off point and when I decided not to be so literal, then the idea started to flow.

I used my balloon thinlits from Stampin UP and just some scraps from my box. I added some black twine for the strings.

I hope you will play along with us, the DT has some great ideas for you this week.

It’s Tuesday folks, and that means another sketch is up on the Tuesday Morning Sketches blog. A great one to use this time! Simple, but yet so much you can do with it.

No Doodlebug today here everyone! I went with some Photoplay Paper O’Canada this go round.

This is just a really fun line with lots of Canadian icons like my moose here 🙂 Be sure to drop by the blog and see what the DT has created for you and don’t forget to play along with us!

Here’s our inspiration piece for you!

For my card I really liked that green/black/orange color combo so I started with that. I was also drawn to the skeleton.

Using just some scraps I decided to create this little card! I think it turned out really well. Be sure to head to our blog and check out how the rest of the DT interpreted the inspiration piece and to play along with us. Our challenge is always anything goes, you just have to be inspired by the image. Have fun!

Ok one and all! We are up and running over at 2 Crafty Critter Crazies with this month’s new challenge! We are being sponsored by Jan’s Digi Stamps.

We are sponsored this month by Jan’s Digi Stamps and they generouslyprovided images to our DT use on their inspiration projects.

I used the Merry Chris-Moose digi for my Christmas in July card. Our theme is actually ANYTHING GOES but I thought it would be fun!

I colored him just with my copics. The DP is from Miss Kate Cuttables…i thought the buffalo print went so well with his shift! I also added just a little bit of glitter paper for an added accent. Our DT has some really great projects for you to see using a variety of images from the shop so be sure to check them out!

Howdy everyone! We are halfway through June if you can believe it! Have you been over to the Tuesday Morning Sketches blog yet? Here’s our new sketch!

I really liked the look of this one and it’s not a pattern that I would do on a regular basis so it was nice to be outside my comfort zone a bit!

I chose to rotate mine to a horizontal view. I’ve used all papers and accessories from my stash as I was trying to clean up my desk so that I can start some new projects. I love the purples together and again, it’s not a color I work a lot with!

It’s time for you to play along with us and the DT has some amazing takes on this week’s sketch so be sure to stop by and leave them some love!

Looking Sharp: Dragonfly Dreams

Greetings one and all! It’s the first Sunday of the month so that means a new challenge at Dragonfly Dreams! Our theme is FOR THE BOYS! What a great one. If you are like me, you don’t have nearly enough masculine cards!

I knew I wanted to use this image and sentiment that was sent to me in a swap. I colored it with my copics and decided to use come paper from a 6×6 paper pack I picked up at the $$ store awhile ago that had all these green and leafy papers in it. I really like the green and blue together and I think these are perfect colors for a guy’s card.

The DT has some fabulous projects for you today to really get your mojo flowing so be sure to stop by the blog and leave them some love ok!

Thanks for stopping by!

Two Old Bats Halloween Challenge – May

It’s time for this month’s spooky inspiration piece at Two Old Bats!

This one has some great inspiration, blacks, neutrals and oranges, pumpkins, leaves and bats…what do you see?

Here’s mine for you!

I went with the cats for my inspiration as well as the black and orange colors! Instead of pumpkins, I added in orange circles.

I hope you will play along with us over on the blog and can’t wait to see what you create!

And we are off and running with this week’s sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches .

Of course the DT has created some awesome pieces for you to be inspired by. Here is mine for you!

As I am slowing making my way through my old SCT samplers I used the August 2018 one for this card. Using the My Bright Life Collection by Pebbles. I also added in a pink doily from my stash as well as some black twine and some enamel dots also from my stash. This is a great sketch to do an anything kind of card.

Be sure to stop by the blog and show us what you created with this week’s sketch!
