For day 2 of the Spring Card Class 2022 with Kristina and Jennifer, I learned a new technique called Joseph’s Coat which is pretty cool. It when you create an inked up card panel, and then stencil over it in black ink. How cool is this!!

I created my rainbow background panel using inks from Your Next Stamp, Lawn Fawn and The Stamp Market. The star stencil I used was distressed stars from Plaid Crafts which I used with black Memento Ink. I heat embossed a sentiment from Stampin Up for the focal point and then just a few clear enamel dots.
This card was based on the Cathy Zielske example for the class. I’m pretty sure I’m going to chalk this up as a new favorite because it is just so easy and makes such an impact on your project. I love the effect!
Thanks for stopping by.
