Hey everyone! I am a day behind for this post. It’s a new challenge at The Poodles Parlour. We are being sponsored this week by Glitterbabe Digis! Such cute images!
Here is my card for this week. I bought these little jingle bells at the $$ store and just had to start using them!
The DP is by MME (The Merry Days of Christmas). I colored the image with my copics and then cut it out with my nestibilities. I added some glitter to the wings. The twine is from Whisker Graphics and then the bell from the $$ store. I hope you enjoy it!
happy Thursday all! I know I haven’t posted for a bit. I’ve been busy trying to get stuff made for my craft fairs this year–I am doing 4 all in the month of November. So I have been busy but I have some projects to share with you later :)
Today is the Sponsor Spotlight over on Lollipop Crafts! This week we are sponsored by Di’s Digi Downloads
Our challenge this week is to use brads and/or eyelets on your project. Pretty simple so everyone can enter and we have a great prize. Everything you need to know can be found on the blog here.
Here’s what I have for you this week:
the DP is from a paper surprise pack I got from Hot Off The Press eons ago and have had forever. I chalked the image after copic coloring and then did a little paper piercing on the scalloped circle. It’s a little hard to see in the picture but the butterfly and the centers of the flowers all have stickles on them. A little of the baker’s twine from Whisker Graphics and a little charm and bling to finish it off. I hope you enjoy.
So it’s holiday Monday here, but still means new challenge day at Lollipop Crafts. This week is a fun little challenge that my team is hosting.
It’s a double team: 2 stamps/images (sentiments count as 1), 2 patterned/designer paper, 2 of the same embellishments (may use more than 1 type in multiples of 2) and 2 ribbons (same or different).
This week’s sponsor is Meljen’s Designs. I just love her stuff and the winner gets 4 items of choice. (She has some great Christmas ones if you are looking to make your Christmas cards soon, like I am).
Here is this week’s card. I had originally made this as part of a birthday swap that I am doing with CanadianScrapSwapChat but decided I didn’t think it fit the theme that I was assigned very well so I’m making something different. I think it is still a great simple masculine birthday card and I plan to make some multiples to have on hand.
the stamped image is from a stamp set that I won off of the CK forums. This is the first time that I have used it. The sentiment is from a swap as well and the scraps are from my stash. The ribbon is from the $$ store and the twine from my Whisker Graphics win. I hope you like it.
I’ve entered into the following challenges:
Cards For Men: G is for GM Series (the name of the stamp set)
Crafty Boots: Anything Goes
Creative Stamp Friends: Card for a Man
Lia Stampz: Birthday
Make it Monday: Birthday Blog Hop
Birthday Sundaes: Birthday
Crafting When we Can: Anything Goes
Thank you to Paper Crafting Journey for having me as their Guest Designer again.
This week there is a sketch challenge! I don’t do a lot of these so it was fun to give it a shot. Here is this week’s sketch
and my take on it…I needed to work on some Christmas cards so I thought this sketch would make a nice one.
It’s a bit hard to pinpoint all the supplies I used for this card. I have this big huge box of Christmas stuff and I just throw everything into there. Some of it is it its original packing and others not, so most of this was part of the NOT catagory. I do know that the sentiment was done using the tiny type alphas and there’s some baker’s twine from Whisker Graphics on there. The border punch is Martha Stewart and that’s all I got for you! LOL
I hope you will stop by the blog and play along with this week’s sketch and to check out all the great inspiration from the DT!
Soooo.. I am proud to say that I am one of the new DT members at The Poodles Parlour and this week is my debut. Our challenge this week is any anything goes. Who doesn’t love that! Make sure you visit the blog to find out all the challenge details, prizes and to link up your project as well.
I love the card that I did this week. Jacqui’s images are awesome and so easy to work with. I decided to make a simple masculine birthday card.
I used scraps of course! Colored the image with my copics. The twine is from Whisper Graphics (from my win) and attached with my crop-a-dile. Man I had to blow the dust off of that! I can’t remember the last time I used it. the little charm I have again had forever. Like I said, really simple but I love it.
As their guest DT for August! I am very excited to be joining the Paper Crafting Journey team for a couple of challenges this month. This week it is a photo inspiration challenge using this photo from the ceiling at the Bellagio (I have seen this..gorgeous). All the details and a link to play can be found on their blog here
The sponsor this week is Digital Delights by Louby Lou who is offering 3 images to the winner. A great prize!
Here is my card for this challenge
I finally broke open my Echo Park Summer days 6×6 paper pack for this I just love the patterns and colors. They really do scream summer! I colored the image using my copics, added some ribbon from my stash and buttons and baker’s twine (from Whisker Graphics). You should have arrived here from Kim’s blog. If you hopped here by chance, please head over to Lollipop Crafts and begin your journey there.
Using Meljen’s Bunbun image (this is so adorable) I created this cute little birthday card. One can never have enough birthday cards in my opinion.
The DP is from Bazill (Grandma’s Feather Bed). The image is colored with copics with just a hint of paper piecing with the party hat and cupcake. I also added just a bit of stickles as well. The ribbon is from my stash and I cut the balloons out using my Celebrations cartridge and then ran them through the cuttlebug with the polkadots folder. Since my FB win with Whisker Graphics, I’ve been using a lot of their baker’s twine which I incorporated here for the balloon strings. The sentiment is a stamp set from Hot Off the Press. I hope you like it!
Now it’s time for you to hop on over to Zulma’s blog to see what she has created for you and don’t forget to leave her some some sugar!!”
