Going in Circles

Happy Friday the 13th everyone.  It’s a new challenge day over at Poodles Parlour today.  It’s all about circles!  Our sponsor this week is Whoopsi Daisy Digis.

I am really loving this week’s card for you.  Using one of our sponsor digis and a sketch from my  SCT Cardmaps book I created this card..

The DP is from Basic Grey and is just a few pieces I had left over from another project.  The grey ruched ribbon and cardstock are from my stash, as is the bling.  The orange ribbon is from CTMH.  I colored using my copics and then cut out the image with my Spellbinders for my circles.  I hope you enjoy this card and be sure to stop by the blog and check out the rest of the DT creations this week and don’t forget to enter!

Also of note, we have had a couple of our DT step down so we do have some openings! Just email Jacqui at thecraftypoodle@gmail.com with a link to your blog and let her know you are interested!

We used Karen’s image (isn’t this cute) and the DP was sent in a swap.  I did a little border punching and after I cut out the focal image with my spellbinders I popped it with some spritz smooch and pop dots! I colored with my copics, added a bit of ribbon, some spooky spiders and a few brads for just a pop of color.  I hope you like it and don’t forget to play along!

New DT debut

Soooo.. I am proud to say that I am one of the new DT members at The Poodles Parlour and this week is my debut.  Our challenge this week is any anything goes. Who doesn’t love that!  Make sure you visit the blog to find out all the challenge details, prizes and to link up your project as well.

I love the card that I did this week.  Jacqui’s images are awesome and so easy to work with.  I decided to make a simple masculine birthday card.

I used scraps of course!  Colored the image with my copics.  The twine is from Whisper Graphics (from my win) and attached with my crop-a-dile. Man I had to blow the dust off of that! I can’t remember the last time I used it.   the little charm I have again had forever.  Like I said, really simple but I love it.
