Hi everyone. I am late getting this post up today. It has been busy in my house with my DH gone for the weekend, me working both jobs today and taking care of our 2yr old. I actually spent the day in my pj’s if you can believe it!
Anyway, our challenge for you at Poodles Parlour is a fun one. A masculine challenge for the boys being sponsored by Karen’s Doodles.
Here is mine for this week.
It is a simple card and I chose a BEST WISHES sentiment so that it could really be used for anything. The DP was sent to me in a swap and I colored the image with my Copics, cut it out with my nestiblities and then ran some chalk over it. Just a few buttons to add.
Please stop by the blog and enter our new challenge and to see the rest of the DT inspiration for you!
Oh wow! I am so sorry, I forgot to post my challenge yesterday for Lollipop Crafts and we have such a good one! Robyn’s Fetish is graciously sponsoring this week’s butterfly challenge! I’m sure you’ve seen her images all over blog land and she has such cute ones too! We would love to see butterflies on your project! It can be the main focus or a cute embellishment as in the case of my card! Make sure you stop by the challenge blog for all the details and to win some great images from Robyn!
Here’s my DT card this week:
I colored my image using copics of course. Cut out with my shaped nestiblity. I added some flocking for the grass and a few brads for some added dimension. The butterflies are just ones that I picked up at the dollar store ages ago and not used yet. The paper was sent to me as part of a paper swap on http://www.swap-bot.com (if you like to do swaps, check it out!) I hope you enjoy it and make sure you stop by the Lollipop challenge blog for all the deets on this week’s challenge and also to see all the great creations by the DT this week! FABULOUS!
That’s the new release over at Sarah Hurley today! Check out what she has created
Mermaids & Sea Creatures, a collection of Digi Stamps in both colour and black & white to use with your Promarkers, Pencils & Copics, and all for the bargain price of just £1 each!!! Go here to check them out!
Here’s my card for the new release..I recently learned how to do a side step card from a youtube video and now I just love them!
I really liked how it turned out. The blue background is some white core cardstock that I embossed with the swirls folder and then sanded down a bit…all the images are from the collection..I just inked them up a bit. I used my nestiblities to punch and add a frame, the sentiment is from Create with TLC and then just a bit of twine to finish it off….I hope you like it and don’t forget to stop by the blog to check out what the rest of the DT created using this great set!
