Today is the start of the November Anything Goes challenge at DigiHaven. We are being sponsored by Beccy’s Place who is offering a great prize of 3 digis from her store. For this challenge you can use any digi you want provided it is free!
Here is my card using one of Beccy’s free images
Before you get too excited, I didn’t color this one, LOL, it already came that way. The DP is just some scraps that I had laying on my table so I’m not even sure where they are from. The sentiment is Stampin up. I hope you enjoy it and don’t forget to join our challenge this month to win!
I had thought that I had autoposted this yesterday but looks like I had only saved it as a draft. Yikes
It’s a new challenge at the Crazy Challenge this week, and yay! it’s my turn to host. It’s a monochromatic challenge this week. We’re looking for white and one other color on your projects. You can find all the challenge details listed here on the blog. We are being sponsored by Di’s Digi Downloads this week. The lucky winner will win 5 (five) of Di’s great images. Here is my card this week.
The DP was part of a swap that I did. My c/s is Bazill. I colored with my copics of course. The bling is from the $$ store and the sentiment was sent to me as part of a swap for one of the facebook groups I’m in. I hope you like it and I can’t wait to see your challenge project this week! The ribbon is savvynsassy (the light pink) and my stash (dark pink) and the button was sent to me in a swap as well.
I have been asked to be the guest designer for June at CRAFT YOUR PASSION!.
I want to thank them for this great opportunity and I am very excited to be joining them this month.
So today is the first Monday of the month and that means that it is an anything goes challenge! Who doesn’t love those! Create what you want and show it off. All of the challenge details including prizes can be found here. So for my first challenge with CYP, I am using a great image from Lauretta. If you remember about a year or so back, I created a card with the saying ‘a true friend tells you about the toilet paper stuck to your shoe’. I really love this saying and I totally know that my BFF would not only tell me, she would probably try and pick it up herself..LOL When I saw this image, that saying was the first thing that popped into my mind to put with it.
I used some scraps of the Bo Bunny Gabrielle that I had left over from a layout that I did for Scrapbook Your Heart. I inked the image with some distress ink and then I colored it with my Copics, followed by some bling action in the form of my stickles and glitter. The ribbon (Savvy n Sassy) and pearls are from my stash and the toilet paper is well, from my bathroom and I attached it with some adhesive. I hope that you enjoy my card and don’t forget to join us at Craft Your Passion with your own creation. The rest of the design team has created some fantastic inspiration pieces for you so you don’t want to miss out on that!

Here is my card for this week.
Using a couple of images from our sponsor Digi Doodle Shop, I put together two little girls that are ‘best buds’. Just like me and my friend Kathy who is going to get this card.
I used my copics to color the image and then cut out the butterflies using my Stamping cartridge on my cricut. The DP was sent to me in a swap and I thought it was rather girly and pretty. The bling is from my stash and the rick rack is from my fave supplier SavvynSassy. I am loving the tiny alphas these days! hope you enjoy it.~!
Good Morning everyone! And Happy Thanksgiving to those of you celebrating today! It’s a new challenge over at AIF today and we have the cutest image to work with. It’s from the Best Friends Series that is new in the store!
Here it is:
And here is my card for this week.
I don’t usually do a card this size but I had found a base and thought that it would be fun. I just added a little bit of friend DP that I had in my stash as well as some ribbon and twine. The paper flower was one that I had done at a crop last month and had a few of them pre-done ready for projects. Finished off with a little bling and a little inking around the image which was colored with my copics. I am still learning how to use those and need a bit more practice.
Don’t forget to enter into the AIF challenge this week with your friendship cards. That’s this week’s theme. Here is my card this week…
I used some cute patterned paper from my stash! Have I told you that I am addicted to 6×6 papers! I’ve been buying them everywhere… I colored the image with my copics and then just matted it onto some Bazzill cardstock. I don’t normally use orange, but I do like the orange/purple combo. I punched out the circles with a punch and the sentiment is just a Studio G stamp. Karen Foster brads…and we are done!
Don’t forget to check out the Design Team’s challenges this week!
3. Audrey E
4. Audrey R.
So here is week #5 of the ribbon rave…the theme was to do a layout ‘getting to know you’…I used an old kit from Lisa Bearnson that I had lying around for most of the page. The ribbon challenge was to alter your ribbon. I heated ribbon, stapled it, stickled it, rub ons and I even tried to use some Tim Holtz distress crackle which didn’t quite work… you also had to add dimension, so I have a mat that is pop dotted, as is the flower and then I have the hanging intial..
It's all about ME!
this second layout I had originally done for the rave, but realized it wasn’t so much about me as it was about friendship..ME and KATH..I really liked how it turned out…
PP: Basic Grey & Doodlebug
Chipboard Letters: Dollar Store
Glimmer Mist: Tattered Angels
Buttons: from my stash
Bling: from my stash
Friends circle: Around the block
Punch: Martha Stewart
I’ve been working on making gift tags and gift card holders for the craft fair. Once I have them done, I’ll post them. They’re turning out quite well I think. Thanks to Lisa from CdnScrapSwapChat for the idea of the gift card holders..she rocks!!
Here are some more cards that I have made for the craft fair. I can’t believe that I have almost 500 cards made!! Holy hannah!! Now I just have to sell them!!LOL
