For Mom

Hey everyone!

It’s Friday and even better tomorrow is National Scrapbooking Day! I’m so excited.  I’m going to be at an all day crop with 4 friends tomorrow!

So over at Creative Corner Challenges this week, we have our first sponsored challenge.  The ever fabulous Bugaboo is offering up 7 digis to this week’s winner.  Our theme….Flowers and/or Mother’s Day.

Here’s my card this week.

The image is from Bugaboo of course.  The DP is Cosmo Cricket.  the leaf and flower are from my stash.  The sentiment is from Hero Arts.  I colored the image with my copics and then cut it out using my spellbinders with a little Tim Holtz ink around the edges.

Make sure you stop by the blog to see the other great projects the DT created with the Bugaboo stamps and join in to win some of your own.

Entered into these challenges:

Chocolate Coffee & Cards: Mother’s Day

Dilly Beans Challenge: Mother’s Day

Ginger Snap Scraps Day 2 Blog Hop

Welcome to day 2 of the Ginger Snap Scraps Blog Hop.  I hope that you have been enjoying yourself so far and checking out all of the talented ladies.  If this is your first day hopping, you want to head over to Ginger Snap Scraps and start with yesterday’s post so you don’t miss out on anything!  You should have arrived here today from Paula’s blog.  (I’ll post the entire blog list at the end of this post today).

To help celebrate Cory’s new adventure opening her store, a bunch of us have got together to create projects highlighting some of the great (and totally familiar) names that she carries.  Even better she has some of the best prices that I have seen in an online store ANYWHERE!  Did you know she has Cricut cartridges on for $35 and less!

On to today’s project.  I have another card for you.

I found this really cute stamp from My Favorite Things!  I had forgotten I even had it but it is just so darn cute!  I colored her with Copics (did you know Cori sells copics for $6.99 each! that is such a steal!)  The DP is from the Cosmo Cricket Clementine line.  A little bit of twine (she has wicked colors from The Twinery) and some border punching.  I did all my inking with Tim Holtz’s distress inks (again great price and great colors.  I actually had to pick some up that I didn’t have myself).  The flowers are just some I had in my stash so not sure where they came from.

To celebrate, I am offering a $10 gift certificate to GSC so that you can pick up a couple of great items of your won.  To enter, you have to leave a comment on both today’s and yesterdays blog posts.  You don’t have to be a follower, but I would love it if you were and I’ll give you an extra entry to play with. I’ll draw the winner on Monday April 9th and announce it here on the blog so make sure you leave me a way to contact you please.

Thanks for stopping by and now you are off to visit Vicki to see what great project she has for you today!
