Treeful Thanks

I have a card for you today that I am just loving.  It is our new challenge at DigiHaven and our theme is Fall Trees or Leaves.

It will run for two weeks, ending on November 15th.  If you visit the blog there are lots of links for free digi images to choose from.  Remember the image you choose needs to be free for the length of the challenge!

here is my card

The image I chose can be found here.  The paper is MME (I believe it is the All Spice line). Just another one of those 6×6 paper packs I seem to hoard…. I cut it out with my Spellbinders and then inked it with some Tim Holtz Distress ink (I want to say Broken China).    I kept the embellishments pretty simple using just some divine twine and a button.  The sentiment (which I cut out using a couple stampin up punches) is from Stampin Up (Kindess Matters).  I hope you like it and I hope you will stop by the blog to check out the other great projects from the DT this week and to play along.  We love seeing your creations!

Entered into these challenges:

Natalie & Amy: fave color combo (I love brown and blue together!)

Crafting for all seasons: falling leaves (I hope this qualifies…I think all the leaves already fell off and were raked up from my tree  :) )

Nutcrafters: Ribbon or Twine

Dutch Dare Card challenge: Thankful

Paper Crafting Journey: ribbon or twine

Sassy Design Studios: Season of Thanks

Simply Create: always anything goes

A gift for you- A digital delights release

It’s a new release day at Digital Delights today and oh are these ever cute~!

Lots of great images to choose from for the holiday season as you get ready to make those Christmas cards!  This time around, I decided to change it up and I made this cute little tag using Nutcracker Kiddles.     He is available colored on non depending on your preference.  I also used the Magical Winter sentiments for this one.

The tag is just from Staples and I went over it with some of my Tim Holtz distress ink.  I used a little bit of DP from Echo Park from some previous projects and a couple of different dies–Stampin Up & Sizzix.  I also used my sizzix embossing folder.  The ribbon, button and pearls are all from my stash.  I hope you like it and don’t forget to stop by the blog for some more great inspiration using these fun new images.  You can also stop by the Delightful Challenges blog and get in on the latest challenge as well.
Entered into these challenges:

Fab N Funky: Die cuts/punches

Clear it Out: Gift Challenge (use the word gift or highlight a gift you made)

Crafty Boots: Tag or Invitation

Whoopsie Daisy: Punch it out

Get Well Soon

Hello again! Two posts in one day…wow! Going from not so busy to busier than a bee.  We have a new challenge over at Penny’s Paper Crafty this week which is being sponsored by multiple sponsors, one of which I am highlighting this week…Dustin Pike.

I am sure that you’ve seen these adorable dragons all over blogland.

I decided to make a get well soon card as I’ve not done one in awhile and you just never know when one comes in handy (like for your son’s preschool teacher who’s home sick :) )

As you can see, I used the Basic Grey offbeat papers again.  I thought they were kinda upbeat and cheery for a get well card.  I paired the image with just a great stamp from Michael’s that I got, again in the Spiced Marmalade ink.  I added some ribbon and a border punch as well as a little heart button from my stash.

I hope you enjoy it and don’t forget to enter our buttons and/or ribbon challenge at Penny’s today for your chance to win one of several great prizes!

entered into these challenges:

DL.Art: sympathy/get well

Challenges for Everybody: anything goes

The Squirrel and the Fox: use a ribbon

Bella in Blue

Hello all! Welcome to Monday here on my blog. It’s a new challenge at Lollipop Crafts and this week is an Anything Goes challenge.  So it’s just for fun and we get to highlight our top three on Sunday!  Let your creative juices run wild!  I know the DT has some wicked inspiration for you so don’t forget to stop by the blog and leave them some love!

So as you know, I belong to Swap-bot.com which I love because of all the different card swaps they do there.  I have one that is a card swap with a twist…so my partner actually sends me the embellishments to put on the card, I make it and send it back.  So I was sent some ribbon, a flower,a button and a brad.  Not a lot to work with, but luckily they all matched.  So this is the card that I created inspired by the supplies I was sent. Someone had sent me this stamped image in a swap so it seemed like a good one to use up.  I cut it out using my Spellbinders and inked the edges with Broken China Distress Ink (BTW have you seen the new distress colors for spring IN LOVE!!!!).  I can’t wait to get mine.  The DP is from the Kaisercraft Blae and Ivy set which is really pretty blues and greens!  I colored her using my ever trusty copics!

Here’s the card

I’ve entered into the following challenges:

Amusing Challenges: anything goes

Catered Crop: B is for Bodacious (anything that begins with B..I have button, blue and Bella)

Craft Us Crazy: Inspire Us (found inspiration or favorite stamp) I had to be inspired by the supplies that were sent to me by my swap partner

Moving Along with the Times: Gardening or Flowers

Shelley’s Images: How does your garden grow: use Pastels, Flowers and Kraft

Scrapalicious: flower power

Lollipop Challenge #56

Good Morning.  Welcome to another Monday.  It’s been a rough week or so for me.  I’ve been busy getting ready for my craft fairs and both Riley and I have been under the weather.  Not a lot of time for posting and I apologize.

Today is a new challenge on the Lollipop blog and we have a new guest designer as well so you will want to stop by and check it all out.  My team has some great inspiration pieces for you this week.  We are being sponsored by Meljen’s Designs this week! Yay!  Our theme for you this week is Thanksgiving/Fall.  Here in Canada we are just about done with both, but it’s nice to still hang on to it for as much as possible.

Here’s my card for you this week

The main focal piece was sent to me in a swap.  The DP was in my stash from some previous projects I had been working on.  The leaf I had bought in a package from Walmart and the button and twine were from my stash.   I just love fall colors.

Thanks for stopping by.  I hope to have another post for you later today with some stuff I have been working on for the craft fair.

Color Me Green

Good day everyone!  It’s Monday so a new Lollipop Crafts challenge for you this week.  I am hosting and my theme this week is Monochromatic! I love the look of varying shades of the same color.  Mine of course is green. It has to be green.

This week we are being sponsored by Stitchy Bear Designs.

Really cute images! We’ll have more on them on Thursday for our Sponsor Spotlight.

Here is my card this week.

I colored the image using my copics.  The DP is just some scraps that I had.  I used a bit of a border punch, a flower (to which I added some glitter), a button, some ribbon (Savvy n Sassy) and a ticket that was originally beige and I just inked it green.   I cut the leaf out using my cricut. A little paper piercing and distressing to add some texture and voila!  I hope you  like it

Don’t forget to head over to the blog and enter for your chance to win.  I look forward to seeing what you create.

Sarah Hurley Challenge #45 Colouring

It’s a new challenged at the Sarah Hurley Challenge blog today and this week we are being sponsored by

Yay! Robyn has graciously donated

5 digital stamps or 4 digital stamps and 1 digital paper set of their choice.  A very awesome prize to be sure.  Here is my project this week using Robyn’s best friends bunnies

I cut the tag using my cricut and added a punched border, some inking, my baker’s twine (from my Whisker Graphics win on FB) a button flower, paper flowers and some jute.  The image was colored (since this is our theme after all) using my Copics!  I hope you enjoy it and don’t forget to stop by the blog to enter your own colored project to win.

If Friends Were Flowers

I had thought that I had autoposted this yesterday but looks like I had only saved it as a draft. Yikes

It’s a new challenge at the Crazy Challenge this week, and yay! it’s my turn to host. It’s a monochromatic challenge this week. We’re looking for white and one other color on your projects. You can find all the challenge details listed here on the blog.    We are being sponsored by Di’s Digi Downloads this week.  The lucky winner will win 5 (five) of Di’s great images. Here is my card this week.

The DP was part of a swap that I did.  My c/s is Bazill.  I colored with my copics of course.  The bling is from the $$ store and the sentiment was sent to me as part of a swap for one of the facebook groups I’m in.  I hope you like it and I can’t wait to see your challenge project this week!  The ribbon is savvynsassy (the light pink) and my stash (dark pink) and the button was sent to me in a swap as well.
