Happy St. Patrick’s Day

It’s all about the green this week at Creative Corner Challenges.  It’s my month to host and with St. Patrick’s Day coming up my challenge this week is Go Green.  You have to have something green on your project.  An easy challenge to be sure, so I hope many people sign up.  I’m even offering a little prize this week.

Here’s my card for this week’s challenge.  green

Surprisingly, with St. Pat’s being one of my favorite holidays (purely for the green factor) I don’t have a lot of St. Pat’s stuff.  I had green paper but nothing to go with it.  I printed off this image from Bugaboo Stamps as it was offered as a freebie although now I think it is for purchase in the store, thank goodness and the shamrock i cut out using my Cricut.  This is a really simple and flat card because it’s doing double duty.  Not only is it for this challenge but I need to mail it out for a St. Patrick’s day swap on Swap-bot.com.  The paper was all from my stash and I colored the image with my copics.  I hope you enjoy it and please stop by the blog and play with us this week.

Baby Boy: A Digital Delights creation

Oh boy! I’m late in getting this up. So sorry everyone. It’s Thursday so the Digital Delights DT has some new inspiration for you this week.

I have a friend who just had a new baby boy. The baby shower is next month so I need a card. I have this little cutie for you today.

The digital image is from the LuvvyBaby set.

It has a couple of different images and sentiments to choose from. You can find it in the store here!

You can also get this little guy as singles and in colored images!

For my card I used the Hot off the Press 8×8 baby papers.I recently found these papers in a drawer so I’ve been using them up. They were in a bag with some HOTP birthday papers as well. I added just a few pearls and then added a bit of texture with a border punch and a little ribbon. The image is colored with my copics and then cut out with spellbinders. I think I am going to make some more of these in a variety of pink, blue and gender neutral. It’s such a cute image.

Thanks for stopping by today and you just have to check out the blog to see all the great projects the other ladies have for you this week! AMAZING!

Entered into the following challenges:

Lollipop Sponsor Spotlight

happy Thursday all!  I know I haven’t posted for a bit.  I’ve been busy trying to get stuff made for my craft fairs this year–I am doing 4 all in the month of November.  So I have been busy but I have some projects to share with you later :)

Today is the Sponsor Spotlight over on Lollipop Crafts!  This week we are sponsored by Di’s Digi Downloads

Our challenge this week is to use brads and/or eyelets on your project.  Pretty simple so everyone can enter and we have a great prize.  Everything you need to know can be found on the blog here.

Here’s what I have for you this week:

the DP is from a paper surprise pack I got from Hot Off The Press eons ago and have had forever.  I chalked the image after copic coloring and then did a little paper piercing on the scalloped circle.   It’s a little hard to see in the picture but the butterfly and the centers of the flowers all have stickles on them. A little of the baker’s twine from Whisker Graphics and a little charm and bling to finish it off.  I hope you enjoy.

It’s a Circle Frenzy

This week’s new challenge at Sarah Hurley is all about circles..whether they are doodled, die cut, freehand, punched, dots or a round shaped anything..we want to see it! All the details can be found on the Sarah Hurley Challenge blog this week which you can find here, and you’ll want to see all the great DT inspiration for you this week…You have until July 10th to enter your project to win a great prize from Sarah…

Here’s what I have for you this week.  I used my circle punches to just cut out a variety of cardstock and patterned paper from Sarah’s Woodland Whimsies and Wonderland CD’s.  The image which I colored with copics was sent to me in a swap.  I added just a bit of embossing with my scor-buddy. To finish it off, I just used some tiny type alphas in keeping with the circular theme.  I hope you like it and I can’t wait to see what you come up with for this week’s challenge.

Cutest Critters

I loved this week’s challenge for the Lollipop Challenge Blog…it’s a Critter Challenge…we want to see your cutest little critter! Our sponsor this week is Meljen’s  Design’s who will be giving 4 images to the winner! I love love her stuff as you well know! So make sure you get in on the challenge this week.  Head over to our challenge blog for all the deets and to check out the fabulous DT inspiration pieces we have!

Here is my cute critter for you this week

I mean really?? How cute is this! I colored the image with my copics and added a bit of chalking.  I used my nesties to help frame it and my mini alphas for the sentiment.  The DP is from my stash and the little pill bottle is cut from my cricut…Enjoy!
