Shaping up at the Crazy Challenge

It’s a new challenge over at CCH and this week it’s all about the shaped cards!  We would like to see some fun and unique shapes, anything that isn’t your typical square/rectangle traditional.  Our sponsor this week is the Digi Doodle Shop and they have some fabulous images, some of which we got to play with.  Here’s my card for this week

The shape was cut out using one of my cricut cartridges ( A Child’s Year I believe, very versatile).  I punched the butterflies using one of my cuttlebug dies and added a few bits of bling to liven them up.  The image was colored with my copics and the DP was just from my stash.  I have been introduced to flocking! I picked some up on sale at my LSS and love it, so the bunny’s ears and her eggs are flock! Way cool!  I hope you like it and be sure to stop by the challenge blog and enter this week’s challenge!

Entered into the following challenges:

The Crafty Pad: use a digi

I Did It Creations: Welcome Spring

Aly’s Sunday Challenge: Happy Spring

Creative Inspirations Paint: Easter

A Gem of a Challenge: Anything but a square

Card Makin’ Mamas: Animals

Papertake Weekly: Three of something (I have three little rosebuds)

Mami Doodles: Celebrate Spring

It’s an AiFactory Challenge

Hey everyone! AiFactory is starting the fall term with a new Design Team and a new Challenge.  In case you didn’t know, I am the new DT lead for AiFactory and am extremely chuffed about it. :)   So this week our theme is back to school!  We got to use these really cute images

So here is the card that I made

The DP was from a stack pack that I had bought eons ago, and the ribbon from a swap.  I cut the apple and the crayons out using my cricut A Child’s Year cartridge!  Basic colorings with the copics.  I hope you like it and I hope you will play along at AiFactory as well.  Just pop over to the challenge blog and upload your entry using the linky. You have until Wednesday September 15 12:00EST to get in to win this week’s images.  If you use some AiF images awesome but you don’t have to ..but make sure you check out the freebie section!  You also don’t want to miss checking out the awesome creations by our DT
